Dreamcatcher Strangers

Rate this book
The 2nd novel in the Balfour Mystery series by KC Pearcey finds danger amid the Christmas celebration as Cora and Charlie once again find themselves thrown together to solve not one but two mysteries that threaten the ones they love.

It's Christmas in Balfour -- time for the annual Ladies Auxiliary Bazaar. The scent of pines and cinnamon hangs heavy in the air.
But not everyone's in the holiday spirit.
Cora's restless with unanswered questions about little Jane.
Charlie's burdened with his memories, and Marjorie's keeping secrets.
The Piney Woods and Balfour Bed and Breakfast are booked with friends and strangers.
And Brother James?
Well, he's back having coffee in Cora's dreams.
Coming home for the holidays can get complicated.
Merry Christmas!

About the author

K.C. Pearcey

KC Pearcey published her first poem in the Tylertown Times newspaper at the age of ten, and she has been writing ever since.

At the age of sixteen, she wrote and produced her first play for her high school. While attending Mississippi College, she won the Bellamann Award for creative excellence for her five-volume poetry collection, the Southern Literary Award twice for her adult plays, and numerous other awards for her six original children's plays written for production by drama workshop classes.

Through the years, she has written and produced numerous plays, skits, essays, poems, children's programs, and murder mystery dinner theatres for churches, schools, friends, and family.

She recently retired from forty years of teaching young people how to write, perform, communicate, and think. She still loves everything about teaching--except the red pens used for grading papers.

Although she has lived in eight states and packed up all her worldly possessions a total of thirty-two times, she now lives happily in Stone Mountain, Georgia, with her husband. Between writing and spending time with her grandchildren, she also loves to travel and have exciting adventures.

Dreamcatcher is the first in a series of novels that she always promised herself and her students that she would write when she had the time.

She hopes you enjoy Balfour, Georgia, and the people who live there as much as she does.
