Forbidden is a dark fantasy filled with both dark and light magic, adventure, danger and love. In the center of it all is Melody Winters a witch who is half demi/half human being hunted by Morag who happens to be her grandmother.
The reader follows along as Melody, Roman and their families join together to race against their impending doom. I particularly enjoyed the relationship between Roman and his little mouse, Melody. Starting out as enemies both try to deny the unmistakable chemistry that boils between them.
When Melody and Roman inadvertently discover what magic has been hiding inside Melody they realize she may be what will save them all if she decides to participate in a dangerous ceremony and can survive it. Will Melody agree to chance dying to save her family or will the love she feels for Roman keep her from fulfilling her destiny? Grab your copy and find out!

Melody, an understandably angry half-breed after all the damage she witnessed from a young age, becomes a fierce protector of those she loves. The only thing that can interrupt the carnage Melody can leave behind is the awareness of her soul mate, Roman. I appreciated Melody's good soul and can't wait to read the next book in the series.
