When you grow up in a town that celebrates Halloween year-round, you would think a person might get tired of Halloween, but you would be wrong. It’s the murders that I get tired of.
It’s Halloween in Pumpkin Hollow and Mia and the gang are busy making candy and handing it out to the kids. But when one trick-or-treater gets out of hand and commits murder, the town is in an uproar.
Mia and her sister have their suspicions about someone, but until they have enough evidence, they’ll have to keep investigating. Can they catch the killer before they strike again?

Finding Leo's Murderer . . .
Mia, her sister Christy, and their mother have a candy store in Pumpkin Hollow. Halloween is celebrated all year long, but is especially busy at Halloween itself. Despite the windy weather that threatened rain, everyone was stocking up on candy for the evening event. Even the fudge was selling, a treat for the adults.
When the work day ended, Mia and Ethan were on their way to dinner but got a flat tire. A couple ran out of the woods, screaming for help. A local resident, Leo Frakes, had been murdered. Ethan said he had been shot, but Ethan didn’t get back home until after 3 a.m. so Mia couldn’t ask him for any further details. She also couldn’t stay out of the mystery. Would they find out who did it?

This was a perfect little Halloween-themed cozy for my current mood!
I always love these, and so I always end up saying basically the same thing.
The only thing I can say about this one (aside from what I normally say) is that the ending felt a bit abrupt/rushed. I'm not sure if she was trying to get away from the formulaic style of the cozy just a little, or if she just wanted to try something slightly different with the ending. It wasn't bad, but it was a bit more abrupt than usual.
As always, I recommend this series to those who want some light cozy mysteries!

This book is an enjoyable fun easy reading cozy mystery full of suspense, action, humor, twist and turn with delightful characters, it keeps me entertained as I try to figure out the mystery and murder. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

This book was such a joy to read. It had a little bit of everything you would want in a cozy mystery. The author kept my attention and interest throughout the entire book so much I had a hard time putting the book down. Nice plot with great lively, vibrant characters that add a depth to the read.

I love this series!!!
What's not to love about a small town that has a Halloween theme all year long! Love the Characters.. It makes me want to live somewhere like that!! I recommend anyone that loves Halloween and a murder, mystery and some good Candy to check it out

Always Good!
Another fantastic story in the series. Love the unique Halloween themed town. The characters are great and the writing is top notch. Looking forward to the next book.
