Ish Cagan is one of the world's richest billionaires. Then an inexplicable incident while skydiving over New York City shakes him out of his single-minded pursuit of wealth, prompting him to return to his Jewish roots and begin asking questions about life, death, truth, and God. Accompanying him on his search (and an international business trip) are his Christian pilot, a young Catholic woman of Islamic heritage, and a Japanese-American woman of Shinto origin.

But even as Ish explores the great questions of religion, he's being shadowed by a mysterious criminal ring. Whoever they are, they are bent on using Ish's connections to smuggle hundreds of millions of dollars across international borders—and they're not afraid of using explosives and guns to get their way.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, both because of the soul-searching questions it posed and the witty dialogue between the characters. Rand Packer richly describes his characters, settings, and events in a way that immerses you into the story.

I thoroughly enjoyed going on this epic adventure with Ish, Tae, Penny, and Maxwell. If you're looking for a religious thriller filled with suspense, international intrigue, humor, and romance, you'll love this book! Four very different people come together and then struggle for their lives on a treacherous journey, all while they learn what it means to love and find spiritual truth. I found this book to be fun, uplifting, and spiritually encouraging. As the characters wrestle with life's big questions and inequities, I felt like the author was inviting me to find delight and be more intentional in my own faith journey.
