I heard Steen Metz speak at my local library and felt such a connection with his story as I do with all survivor stories. It was such an honor to be able to hear him speak and to then read more of his story in his book. I was sad to see that Goodreads did not have his book in their catalog so I added it as it is an important story to tell! His story details his life in the Theresienstadt camp as a boy and the miraculous rescue by the White Busses. Incredible, humbling, and thought provoking. Thank you, Mr. Metz for sharing your story.
