Read this please
This right here was one for the books. No it isn't your typical love story but one that give you the grimes and gritty of these streets. Not one where she met a kingpin and rode off in the sunset. She did what she had to do out in these streets to survive the cruel world. But one thing RED didn't do was let the struggles kill her. She came out fighting every time until she couldn't no more. This book leaves you with and ending that you never seen coming. But I promise that your going to love it.

(4.50-4.75) This book was good and held you captive in a way you couldn’t stop reading. It will literally have you in a chokehold. After almost every chapter or scene I’d put my Kindle down and question, “why?!!!! or what did I just read?!”
I will admit I chose to DNF it last night at 60% bc it was feeling like way too much, and then I woke up determined to finish it.
I feel as if I have no words to truly articulate how I feel about this book. It will take you through a lot of feelings with all the situations. There was ALWAYS something happening or coming towards RED.
She had to find a way to survive and it was truly survival of the fittest. She was ruthless, but that’s because she had to be.
That ending though?!!!! 🤯

OHHH MYY GAWDDDD 😱 I did NOT expect that ending!! I mean, I knew it was going too good but damn man!
Red had such a hard life. She did whatever to survive. I can admit, she definitely did some slimy shit, but her environment made her that way.
I understand why Kellz feels the way he does about what Red did to Cayo, but Cayo wasn’t a good man at allll. Kellz was definitely in love with Red too. Ain’t no way he wasn’t! There was no way he was faking all of that, I’m not believing it. Whewww, I gotta read the novella that follows cause even though that get back goin be a mf, I still think Red & Kellz will end up together.

Still tryna pick myself up from that ending cliffhanger. Candi B why did you do your Fans like this. Yes I'm talking about how your making this book a standalone. Wow! This read was one full of suspense and definitely survival. The path that Red traveled was a very tumultuous journey. I do believe there's a chance here to hear from this great character again. One click, a five star banger.

Gritty is right, this story had a little of everything.
No words on how the storyline played out.
The plot twist was a shocker and I want more.
Survival brings about many situations with consequences.

Great book! Author did a great job at story telling and keeping you engaged and on your toes. The plot twist was crazy! There were a few edits in words/missing words that I had seen and tried to report to the author. All in all 10/10!
