The Diary is broken.
I broke it.
I didn’t believe in it at first. After watching two of my sisters fall in love, I’m starting to. I’m not sure I have time for “true love” though, if I even want love. I’m happy with everything and everyone in my life. I’m perfectly content, I am, I swear…until Ms. Diary shines a whole new light on my best friend Teddy.
Now all I want is him.
This can’t be how it works.

TEDDY:
In our ten years of friendship, we’ve been through thick and thin together.
A lot of thick.
Jessa has always been at my side…in my court.

El diario está roto.

Lo rompi.

Al principio no creía en eso. Después de ver a dos de mis hermanas enamorarse, estoy empezando a hacerlo. Sin embargo, no estoy segura de tener tiempo para el "amor verdadero", si es que quiero amor. Soy feliz con todo y con todos en mi vida. Estoy perfectamente contenta, lo estoy, lo juro... hasta que la Sra. Diario arroja una nueva luz sobre mi mejor amigo Teddy.

Ahora todo lo que quiero es a él.

Así no puede ser como funciona.

TEDDY

En nuestros diez años de amistad, hemos pasado por las buenas y por las malas juntos.

Mí humilde opinión:

Corto y dulce. En este de amigos a amantes encontramos a Jessa y Teddy en negación por 10 años! Su amistad era linda y divertida pero todo pasa tan rápido que no me quedo con mucho más que lo básico que pone la autora sobre ellos sumado la confesión de su amor y el HEA. No me dio tiempo ni de disfrutar sus momentos que ya no había más páginas.

Creí que los libros de las hermanas se conectarían para completar un poco las historias pero no sucede, solo está el diario y el momento en que cada una de ellas encuentra su alma gemela. Me gusta la idea del diario mágico pero es todo lo emocionante que tiene la serie. Ojalá hubiera más de capítulos y desarrollo de todo, haría una gran diferencia.

No creo que siga con la serie pero en general disfruté estás lecturas cortas.

Her boss and best friend Teddy offers her a chance but the topic doesn't thrill her. A night out together and too much to drink leads to writing in the diary. I liked how she comes to the realization that she loves Teddy which doesn't seem to be a surprise to others around them. Another match is made and it is time for Ditra. What will the diary do for her?

Jessa and Teddy have been best friends for 10 years. Each have secretly been in love with the other but didn’t want to admit it or lose the relationship they had so kept things platonic. When Jessa was the next sister to take the diary she finally admitted her feelings for Teddy. Hot, steamy, sweet and romantic. Teddy and Jessa were true soulmates. The HEA was beautiful.

Another fun love story

The diary just keeps the fun, and the love going. Another fun book in the Dear Diary series by Tarin Lex.

Jessa tries to convince herself that she’s not in love with her best friend, but with a little help from the diary, and the sparsely in Teddys eyes, there’s no denying her feelings.

This book is short and steamy and whole lot magical. Can’t wait for the next book in this series.

This is the third book in the series and can be read as a standalone story. The friends to lovers storyline is sweet and steamy. Both Jessa and Teddy are wonderful characters, their relationship is fun and was great to see them get their HEA.

Dear Diary: I Love My Best Friend! is the third book in the Diary of the Sisterhood series. This series is about the four Donovan sisters and the family diary which will bring your soulmate to you when you write in it. With two sisters having found their now husbands the diary has been sent to Jessa. Jessa graduated from college with a degree in journalism, concentrating on photography. She then moved back home home and got a job at a local lifestyle magazine. She has been happy telling stories through photos but since her father died a year ago she has felt the need to write stories also. So when she is given her first assignment she is more than a little unsure what to do, as it is a monster truck event in a couple of weeks. What also annoys her is that her editor, Teddy, is the one who has give it to her. Well it does not help that Teddy has also been her best friend for ten years now, as they both went to high school together and then did the same journalism degree at the University of Texas in Austin. Teddy had been a hunky star football player in high school and they met when Jessa was assigned to take pictures of their games. Sure she had a crush on him but he took journalism because he had a crush on her. They may be Best friends for life but they have never crossed any line, well except in their thoughts and dreams. So when the diary arrives on Jessa's doorstep and she confides in Teddy about it he sees an opportunity............and he is about to push her into writing in it and also writing a story about it for the magazine. Will Jessa and Teddy finally acknowledge what has always been known, that they are perfect soulmates and need to be together?

I loved this story as it made me laugh, blush, and had my heart melting. I loved Jessa as she struggled to decide what to do about the diary, and in turn about wanting to write stories. Teddy is a wonderful man who is there for Jessa, taking care of her and ensuring she takes care of herself, even as she takes care of everyone else. There may be rumors about these two around the water cooler at work but the real thing will end up being so much sweeter and hotter. I really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to reading the last about Ditra and her pyro ways.

Jessa and her sisters are given a diary, by their mother, that is suppose to have the power to find their true loves. Jessa didn't believe in the diary's power but two of her sisters have fallen in love and now she is beginning to wonder if she is next. She doesn't have time for love. Then she begins to see her best friend, Teddy, in a new light. Maybe the diary does have power. Teddy and Jessa have been best friends for ten years. They have been through a lot together. Teddy has always loved her. Will he be able to make her his in every way?

This is a short steamy read. Although, I love a best friends to lover story, I am not a fan of Lex's writing. She has a good storyline and great characters with some depth. However, her writing is not to my liking. The inner dialogue for Jessa was like being in the head of a teenage girl not a young professional making her way in the world. She does not have smooth transitions. It's obvious that lot of others like her work so I would recommend reading a bit and checking it out for yourself.

Lovin’ Lex’s “Dear Diary 3”!
Tarin Lex’s Dear Diary series of instalove shorts is such a cute storyline - four sisters finding love when they start writing in a diary that has been passed down through generations of women in their family. In Book 3, “I Love my Best Friend!” it’s workaholic journalist Jessa’s turn for a little romance and happily ever after, and it comes as no surprise to anyone who has been paying attention (like her mom, her sisters, and some of their coworkers) that her best friend, Teddy, is The One! Teddy is sweet, funny, and sexy as hell, but he’s got a little bit of that alpha growliness in the bedroom that Jessa - and readers - respond to. Such a steamy little read with a super-adorable plot, and I can’t wait to see what happens now that it’s Ditra’s turn to take possession of the diary! Nice work, Tarin Lex!!!

After reading the first two books in the series I was really looking forward to this book. Jessa and Teddy have been best friends for years and everyone else sees what they don’t seem to. That they are meant for each other. These two have a great dynamic: best friends, coworkers, the perfect balance to each other. When it’s Jessa’s then for the magical diary that brings along the writer’s soulmate she has no idea who it’s going to bring to her. What she does know is that she can no longer ignore the feelings she has for her best friend. When things take a steamy turn, holy hotness, hang on for the ride. You will never look at Monster trucks the same way after this book! I absolutely recommend this book and this series! Read it all!! It’s fantastic!

Jessa has watched the diary help her sisters find their men and fall in loved. She is starting to think she broke it. When she hears a couple of women at work talking about her and Teddy and how there must be something going on between them. They noticed how he looked at her. Now all she can do is notice Teddy, she had pushed down her crush back in high school as she never had a chance or did she?

Teddy went into journalism to be closer to Jessa, he has loved her forever but she never gave him a second thought. When we kiss he knows there is no way he can go back to just being her friend. Is she really ready?

Teddy and Jessa have been best friends for ten years, and now work together at a magazine (where he is technically her boss). The third of her four sisters to gain possession of a "magical" family diary that brings its bearer true love, she is slightly skeptical - until feelings she has been suppressing for her bestie come to the surface. Teddy is already there - he has loved Jessa from afar from the very beginning, and now he is determined to make her his. A fabulously entertaining best-friends-to-lovers short romance!

This is book number 3 of the Diary of the Sisterhood series and focuses on Teddy and Jessa. Teddy and Jessa have been best friends for ten years and Teddy has known the entire time that he loved her and that she was the one he wanted to spend his life with. He never made a move because he was worried about losing the most important person in his life. All it took was 10 years of waiting and an intense kiss to kick start their HEA. I love how Teddy knew Jessa so well and was completely all in right out the gate. This was a great addition to the series!

An absolutely fun and sweet read. I love the premise behind the diary and how it brings Jessa and Teddy together. They have been best friends for a long time and it seems that until it was handed to Jessa they would both only see one another as such. Once Jessa has the diary she begins to see Teddy in a whole new light. She has always loved him but as a great friends. Both have been there for one another. Teddy it seems begins to realize Jessa has always been the one for him. Wonderful story with a great HEA. Now for the diary to go and work it's magic on the next sister!

Sister number three has fallen to the magic of the diary. Jessa’s has been secretly in love with her best friend for ten years. Not wanting to ruin their friendship she hasn’t acted until now. Teddy has loved Jessa forever but didn’t want to lose her friendship so has suffered in silence. Now with the diary and her starting to look at him differently, maybe it’s time to make his move. This was a quick steamy read. These two have a great connection that only years of friendship can make. There’s only one sister left and she’s fighting the magic until the end! Super sweet Jess has her turn with the family diary. She knows she has always wanted Teddy. She does not know he has always wanted her. After one kiss, he decides he is going for it. They know each other so well (which they should after this many years) and are so sweet together. When the true chemistry takes hold—yum. This can be a stand-alone. I read the first book and am glad I did for the history of the sisters and diary. I did not read the second book, but do not feel I missed out on any real story.

Awww! Best friends into lovers. Our MCs have been in love with the other but is afraid to tell the other for fear of losing the friendship. They are each of everything with each other. It's so sweet.

The style of writing is different from the previous two. It's like the personalities of the two MCs are being reflected in the words of the book. A writer/photojournalist and a journalist/songwriter. I am glad that they finally found themselves in each others arms in the end.

Jessa is one of four sisters who found their grandmother's diary. They were told it will bring them true love. Now is is Jessa's turn. Jessa and Teddy have been friends for ten years, she had/has a crush on him, and he had/has a crush on her. They are friends and never moved on. Teddy tries to hide his feelings but when Jessa kisses him it's game over. He has her and he is never letting go. This is a quick read but it is just so endearing of a story.

I thought that this was a fantastic book. I really liked Teddy and Jessa together with their deep connection and chemistry. These two have been friends for years but thanks to dairy Teddy and Jessa can finally make their feelings know and be together. This was a cute friends to lovers romance. It was the first book in the series that I’ve read but it worked well on its own, though I would have liked to have more context regarding the diary but I didn’t have any problems following the storyline. Teddy and Jessa had a great connection and I really enjoyed their story.

I'm ambivalent about this story to tell the truth🙈 Jessa and Teddy were friends since high school and crushed on each other just as long. Now its Jessas turn with the diary... And guess who's her soulmate. Personally I really hated that they were in love with each other but dated and f*** other people, but that's just my personal pet peeve 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ All in all still a sweet and romantic story with a sweet HEA but just safe-ish. Now I'm waiting for Ditras HEA👍

They have been in love qith each other all their lives but have not take. That leap and told each other. Will the diary change that? Great short story. Best friends for 10 years. Teddy knew but didn’t act on it. Why? Shrugging. Why be in denial of loving your best friend? Well, thankfully one of them has come to their senses! No cliffhanger next sister please.
