Jude Cherry I did a bad, bad thing. The type of thing you probably burn in hell for. I’ve never regretted anything in my life, but sleeping with someone twelve years younger, deflowering him… What was I thinking? We had too much to drink, and his tattoo had me so mesmerized I just couldn’t wait to see it in its entirety. My brain said no, but my traitorous body said, Oh, hell yes! We were adults. The sex was consensual. But that wasn’t the worst of it. I ended up pregnant. I’d never been one to grapple with baby fever, but in that moment, I wanted this child. So I decided to flee. I sacrificed my prestigious career as an award-winning photographer, and moved halfway around the world. And it gets even worse. I know what you’re thinking. How could my plight become more pathetic? I never told the father. I had good reasons. But, almost six years later, I’ve been found out and now my entire world is about to implode.
Archer Brant It had taken less than ten hours to fall in love with her. I was extremely naïve, but my mother had micromanaged my life since my birth. Once I tasted freedom for the first time, I went a little wild and made some mistakes, but Jude wasn’t one of them. I’d trusted her, believed her when she said she’d come back to me. I was such a fool. I never saw her again. And now I know why. Almost six years later, I’m no longer under my mother’s thumb. I’m respected and envied, the CEO of the largest bank in the world. I turned cold and callous after Jude vanished without a trace. I suppose a broken heart actually does break a man. Then a bomb is dropped. I have a child. She never said a word, kept it secret all this time. What kind of woman does that? Things for me are quite different now. I’m no longer that innocent twenty-one-year-old. I’m sexually seductive, intelligent, and I have more money than God. The added bonus: I have a beautiful fiancée draped on my arm. I’m admired and feared. I’ve decided to take my revenge and strip everything from Jude. I want to crush her world and do to her precisely what she did to me.
FOR MATURE READERS. ADULT SITUATIONS, STRONG LANGUAGE, AND EXPLICIT SEX.
There's so many great covers, but this Deflowered cover is absolutely perfect. This picture so exemplifies Archer...the long blond cures, the piercing eyes and the prospect of both bad guy and good guy which is Archer Brant. My absolute favorite troops are Romantic Suspense and Reverse Age-Gap. I was truly over-the-moon to read this book because the age gap is substantial, an age gap that truly makes the book compelling and requires thought from both of the main characters.
99.9% of the time, it's the heroine that makes the story tick for me, but I have to say in this book, it was definitely the male protagonist, Archer. Archer could be an absolute jackass, but I freaking loved him. The author nailed the voice of this character and his reasons for being such a tool.
I was surprised the author wrote Archer's mother, Amelia into the complete storyline. She obviously was an important supporting character, but I thought she would float in and out of the story. I loved that she remained throughout the entire story. As with Nico, who was also an interesting player in the story. The heroine Jude, also an engaging character who keeps the readers attention. Her 5 year old son Xander is a great young character although sometimes a bit unbelievable. But nonetheless he's a likable little guy. This is one of those books, as soon as you finish reading it, you miss it. Wish this was a trilogy or at least a duology. Great read.
Wowzers! I loved this story! Jude and Archer are the perfect couple, even if it takes them a while to figure that out. They just had to own up to their feelings for each other, especially Jude. Archer's instant love for Xander is heartwarming! I really liked all the characters in this book, with the exception of Margot (she was tiresome, but essential to the plot). The older woman/younger man (reverse age-gap) trope is my favorite. Love 'em!! I really enjoyed this book! Cory Cyr wrote a great story. The description states that the story is inspired by TRUE events. I'd like to know whose story it is. ???? P.S. Perfect cover model, based on the description of Archer!
Wow! Deflowered by Cory Cyr was so worth the wait. I do love an age gap especially with an older woman and younger man. The story was fabulous. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a great romance. Kudos!
After reading 700+ books on my Kindles, this is the first for me with this type of plot. I really liked it. The story was a little weird at first, Jude knowing Archer, the love interest, through her BFF, Archer's mother, Amelia. A single night of passion in Honolulu, wasn't planned but the attraction was mutual, between two consenting adults. Archer was barely 22 and Jude was twelve years older. Jude had promised that she would return to Archer. He was in love from their one night of sex and making love. Jude had a secret and Amelia and Archer would not know for six years. Jude didn't want to risk interrupting Archer's future because he was so much younger than her. She dropped everyone and everything, bought a villa in Greece and lived there without divulging her secret. On her 40th birthday, Amelia had tracked her down to help Jude celebrate. The secret wasn't a secret anymore. The pitfalls of keeping a clandestine affair for all those years unraveled around Jude with a vengeance. But after the dust cleared, and all the expected drama, they all lived HEA. Thank you Cory Cut for my first time reading a Reverse age-gap Romance. Definitely won't be my last.
Loved this amazing love story. Reverse Age Gap and Older Woman Younger Man are my favorite trope, and this book did not disappoint. Archer and Jude have insane chemistry when they are together, the story to get to their HEA is addicting that you will not be able to stop until you get to the end. Archer was young and a virgin when this love journey began, and though he grew cold, his inner core shines bright when he is Jude and his son. Jude is a powerful, professional and courageous woman who had a career but made a powerful choice for the best for her child. Xander is the adorable son that has the best qualities of both. Seeing All 3 come together to form a family along with grandma and is beautiful to see.
I just couldn’t, the internal monologues are so cringey and far too long that they end up being repetitive. I also found the story jumped around a little bit too much due to the long internal monologues. There was also spelling errors and parts are written in the wrong tense.
I’m disappointed as this book sounded so good and I was really looking forward to some drama and angst, but I just couldn’t get away with the story and the characters as they had zero depth to them, they felt very wooden.

Wow. Loved all the characters. All the emotional heartache that everyone went through was so realistic. It's like you have to convince me and you certainly did a fantastic job because I absolutely believed Archer loves Jude. Then as an older woman would I love, trust, believe and have faith. Answer, yes. A new author for me and I will check out your other books. v
Poor writing, bad dialogue (no one speaks the way this was written), and in serious need of a good editor. Older woman/younger man is not as uncommon as romance novels seem to think. Somehow the premise of such immediately brings up the idea of an insecure, neurotic female protagonist. The characterization is tired. Spice level is very low. The novel reminds me of something a teenager would write.
What attracted me to this book was the fact that it was a reverse age gap. We need more of those!! Secondly, a single mom?! SOLD. I read about 5 chapters until I realized that I couldn't vibe with the characters or the writing. BUT, I did like the premise and was interested enough to know what happened that I basically skimmed until the end. I did love Xander. That kid was adorable!!
So much passion, sexy and wine. Island hopping from Honolulu to Greece - the perfect location for make up sex and babies. A hot man with a super sexy vixen and I don’t mean the other woman . The woman who took his virginity while he planted a baby in her. The best happy ever after. Sometimes it does pay off if your bff has a son who becomes your happy ever after.
This was different because it’s not only reverse age-gap romance but based on a true story. I was hooked from page one. It had complications and situations but the bond was undeniable. I hope they’re happy wherever they are. Enjoy this HEA.
the plot is amazing, and I'm pretty sure I will come back to finish it later, but something's off, maybe the dialogues, also the main female character is too harsh, unnenessarily,
The dialogue was so cringey. No one talks like that. This was a huge bummer because the plot set up was great but after chapter one I just knew the characters and writing were just not it 🙅🏽♀️
Oh my stars. Where do I begin with this story? Words cannot express my love for Cyr’s writing and with Deflowered, we are taken back to the reverse age gap which had my heart singing and so much more. A chance encounter between Jude and Archer ended up with her on the run with a baby on the way. My heart ached for Jude because I could feel what she felt through the pages. When it all starts to unravel after years of hiding away with her son, all bets are off. The angst, raw emotion and slow burn that is within these pages just leaves you wanting more. Watching Archer grow as a character and seeing him realize and understand why Jude did what she did was gut wrenching but so beyond stunning. The connection that these two have is beyond undeniable and seeing it all play out was just beautiful. The one thing I adore about Cyr is her magic with her words. The fact that this story is based on actual events, just adds to the depth of this story. You can feel Cyr’s emotions bleed into the pages. If you are a fan of Cyr’s work, you will absolutely adore this one and live for the world that has been created with Jude and Archer.
