New Beginnings in Dream Valley
When Eliza Benson saw a job advertised on her way to work, she couldn’t believe her luck.
Writer requires a live-in assistant for six months to assist with admin and housekeeping duties.
It came at the perfect time because she was desperate to ditch her dreary life in London as a legal secretary and start over.
Despite her mother’s horror at the thought of her only child living with a stranger, Eliza took the position and headed to the small town of Dream Valley to meet her new employer, who turned out to be the darling of daytime television, actor Bill Monroe.

This is another book in the Dream Valley series, it is easily read as a stand alone story or the next instalment in a great series. New beginnings is the story of Eliza and what happens when she decides to leave her London job, boring life and apply to become a housekeeper to a famous TV star in Dream Valley. Sounds perfect except, she doesn't know how to cook, hardly knows how to clean and is far from a domestic goddess. Eliza with the help of some of the locals manages well enough until the wife and grown up son arrive. It turns out she's been involved in a set up.
How will she react ????

I’m enjoying this series, although this book like the others can be read as a stand alone. Eliza throws in her job as a legal secretary, and takes on the challenge of being a housekeeper to a TV star who is writing a screenplay. The fact that she can’t boil water doesn’t stand in her way. Luckily, the locals in Dream Valley lend a hand.

Good to return to dream valley
I enjoyed the book but felt disappointed as it was over too quickly. I enjoyed reading another dream valley book as I have read the others in the series. I'm hoping there will be more dream valley books. There is still a Hudson brother there hasn't been a story about as this one wasn't directly the Hudson family
