An easy read, there wasn't all that much to it. I liked the Beauty and the Beast theme even though it wasn't all that loyal to the story, that was fine though. I can't say I have much to say about this one if I'm all that honest. It was all very insta-lovvy but I can't say I expected anything different. It would have been nice had there been more depth but I suppose I'm asking for too much.

I wanted to like this book, but there were too many things that bothered me.

I have to be honest...I didn't like Allana at all. She comes off as pretentious and entitled. She's supposed to be BBW but it's never really mentioned except to say she's curvy. She fools around with 3 men and gets mad at them for leaving her aroused!!! I mean, come on.

I'm not sure about the timeline. It seems historical but I can't be sure. The hotel business seems like an afterthought...they're desperate to save it, but we never see any patrons there. Allana has ideas to fix the problems, but they are never explained.

Gunnar decides to help King (with his depression) and decides that a woman is the solution. Also strange, since woman don't seem to be respected in this universe. They aren't really allowed to have careers but somehow Allana went to college. I'm not sure why Gunnar feels it's his responsibility to fix King. Their relationship is a mystery to me. At least with Declan, we learn that he was around when King was young.

King is a self-loathing mess. He was injured in some war (not explained) and lost an arm...but he doesn't act like he's missing a limb. He seems to have no problems getting dressed and it didn't feel authentic.

The strangest part is the whole shifter thing. Humans don't seem to know about shifters, but Allana accepts it without batting an eye. Are there other shifters around? Where did this lion, bear and wolf come from? Very implausible.

Allana having just finished her relationship with Colin was open to starting a new life and finding a job in her chosen field, so when Gunner came to town and offered her a position working at a hotel far, far away from her dead-end town, she jumped at the chance, especially after Gunner scared off Collin who wouldn't accept that their relationship was over.

Gunnar, Declan and King were colleagues, King was in a rut, as with the business but when Allana took up the post, she came up with lots of good ideas all whilst lusting after all three men. I liked the characters even though they were so stubborn, and enjoyed seeing them grow as the story developed. I enjoyed the plot, a spin on Beauty and the Beast, it flowed well and was well-written. As for the passion and chemistry between Allana and all three guys it was palpable and so hot! Who will she choose that is if she chooses at all...........

The author gives us a little taste of what's to come in the next book too so that's something to look forward to.

I love the twist of Beauty and the Beast the fact there are three …yep three beasts to one beauty in this story. Allana has always felt different she had goals, going to college was on of the goals and then getting a job working for her own money was also a goal something women just didn’t do or were told they shouldn’t/couldn’t do but. So, she went to college received a degree and got a job at the hotel working in a man’s position but what she didn’t count on was falling for three men. King, Declan, and Gunner sexy as all get out cook, gardener and owner of the hotel all feel something for their new employee and individually they show her who they are, and she is falling for each of them but will her abusive ex. come looking for her, will her three beast keep her safe, will she accept all three of her men for who /what they are and can they fine a HEA like our movies dictates?

Awful. Just terrible. Really bad storytelling and prose, very one-dimensional characters, and a really bad example of shifters. I missed almost every time one of the characters would shift and I would have to go back and re-read passages to realise it had happened. There was no world building on how shifters worked in this world, or on the world itself.


I also felt zero spark or chemistry between the FMC and the MMCs. She isn't looking for a partner or a fling and quite literally never sees the MMCs as attractive in her inner monologue so I was so confused when we suddenly got them in heat having sex or saying that they couldn't live without each other.


The plot made very little sense, especially the Gaston-bad guy. His characterisation was a complete charicature and the way the final 'showdown' with him was handled in the 3rd act made no sense. He cuts the power to the ball (which was also lucidcrous in the overall story) but gives the main characters what seems like 3-5 business days to get people to safety, regroup, have sex and then come back to confront him.

Great story Allana was a young women who was looking for an opportunity to work in her field. Gunnar and Declan were colleagues with King and needed someone to bring King out of his rut and help the business thrive and comeback. Gunnar went to a small nearby town to look for someone that could help. While there he found Allana and scared off Collin who did not understand the term it's over. Allan agreed to the job to help the business and moved to the business. She developed many proposals and lusted after all 3 men. The passion and chemistry between Allana and all 3 of the men was astounding. But how could she pick just one. Read the story to find out who she chose.

This is an ok story. Allana just finished her business degree and is looking for a job. Gunnar is looking for someone to help run the hotel and to find a woman to get his friend and boss out of his funk. Gunnar is the cook and saves Allana from her ex and hires her for the job. Gunnar is attracted to her and tries to stay away from her. Declan is the grounds keeper and is attracted to her as well. It takes a while for her to meet King and she finds that she is attracted to all three. A lot of emotional baggage from everyone involved.

She ends up being attracted to him, Declan and King. Their story is part of the Dirty Paranormal Fairytale Haremland series. Allana finds herself falling in love with a bear, a wolf and a lion. She can only hope that they fall for her also. Her ex creates some problems and drama. The guys all want Allana so she may get everything that she wants and needs in the end. Steamy yet sweet rh with sexy shifters.

I loved this book! This young lady had issues with an overbearing man who would not give up getting her. She found her true love in three men who were slightly broken but good men none the less. It followed Beauty and the Beast in some ways, but was still an individual story on its own. I love a author that is willing to take on a beloved fairy tale and make it their own. I knew Gunnar’s plan was not going to work out they way he wanted it to exactly but his heart was In the right place. Looking forward to what will come from Lisa’s imagination next.

This was a really steamy RH read. I loved the stubbornness of all the characters, definately made them more memorable. I enjoyed this read and how the plot flowed. The characters did display growth over the course of the work. I really like the spin it gave on Beauty and the Beast. The teaser at the end of what was to come in the next book had me eager to get my hands on it and dive right in.

Allana was a very liberated woman. She graduated from college and went to work at a castle turned hotel as the manager. There she encountered her men. Gunnar, the bear, Declan, the wolf and King, the lion. All three shifters, all three equally gorgeous and in love with Allana. Add in her ex who wanted her back and Allana had a predicament, she had to choose one Or does she? Lisa Cullen does a great job with this book and with the characters in it, I really enjoyed it.

I loved this retelling of Beauty and her Beast with Declan, Gunnar, King and Allana. Allana wanted to work in the hotel industry where only men can work she’s an independent girl who works hard all of her dreams come true when she is recruited by Gunnar to work at their hotel where she falls in love with 3 shifters but did she have to choose one and what about her ex who’s trying to get her back. Fantastic story I loved it and the characters and I highly recommend this book it’s well worth the read.

The idea was quite clever but the execution was a huge fail.

Storytelling was tell-over-show and bald, world-building was feeble, female lead swung back and forth between being a bitch-in-heat and just a plain bitch, male leads desperately needed fleshing-out (especially King), relationship-building was almost non-existent and smut was prosaic.

And then there was the stupidity. For instance: "You do realize I have my own mind and won’t just throw myself at any man I come across?" Meanwhile, she has thrown herself at both the men she is saying this to.

Do not recommend.

This is a historical romance. She has an education that is for men in her time and is unappreciated that is until she meets Gunner. He saves her from her abusive ex and offers her a job.

He has an agenda. Things get interesting.

This has drama, suspense action, I normally don't like historical romance but this one has steam.

This book was a wonderful fairytale retelling with a reverse harem romance and three male shifters. This story was fun, exciting, and steamy. Good world building. The story was exciting and intriguing. I loved the characters and enjoyed getting to know them as the story progressed. This was the first book I've read by this author. Well written and well paced. I loved it and will read more in this series. 5 stars.

I'm sorry but I found this book not to my liking. I have read several books in this genre and some were good and some weren't. I found this book to be kind of mediocre. I kept hoping that I would find something that interested me, but I didn't. I'm not against this type of genre, as I said before, I've read several books from this genre some were worth the money, I'm sorry but this one isn't.

A Different Take

This was a nice beginning to this series. I like how the author took the tale of Beauty and The Beast.
I like that the heroine is a strong woman. I like how she handles her situation and her beasts. I found the relationship between Gunnar, Declan and King interesting.
The way the tale is told is fun for me with the different perspectives. The way the mystery continues has me looking forward to the next book in this series.

Too much lust too fast, with just a look and then she went after the men sexually. There seemed to be no background to her personality to make that even a possibility. There were a few things like this in this story, which put me off a bit. It was still entertaining and had one challenge that needed resolving to get to the HEA ending.
This is the first book in the series. I will read the next but if it’s not better then that will be the series done for me.

This was a new author for me. I enjoy reading reverse harem stories. This one was wonderful, well developed characters and great story. Also the shifters aspect added to the story. Allana workd in a hotel andshe falls for the cook, the gardener and the owner. Also very steamy.

I enjoyed this strange version of Beauty and the beast. Definitely enjoyed reading it. Another strong women is all these guys needed to move forward in life. I can’t wait to reach the next story. I like how they are all linked.

choppy writing, good plot

The writing is choppy. The sex scenes are short and... Not sexy? It's jumpy - one minute X is happening and then without transitioning, we're at z. That happens a lot. The h is some fiercely independent woman, but where's her soft side? I have no idea why the guys lure her when she is chronically mad at them.

An interesting little twist on Beauty and the Beast. Some pieces didn’t quite fall into place, which would have hurt my brain to have the story make sense. The inconsistencies didn’t keep me from enjoying the story, though.

This was just bad. The writing wasn’t very complicated or detailed. The main character left so much to be desired. The men were all the same just with different names. The story line didn’t make sense. Idk. Just not good. Wanted to dnf but I’m incapable of that so.
