Nothing about this was overly original, and the art style isn’t really my thing, but I did really enjoy reading it as a whole. I’ll be interested to see if this continues in anyway since they teased it might at the end and the trade is listed with a 1 on the spine implying it’s not a standalone.

The story starts off pretty interesting, but quickly dissolves into stupid people making stupid decisions (or more accurately not making any decisions, just standing around waiting to be eaten). A little more exposition would have been nice, too. The artwork is pretty odd, very stylised and takes a bit of getting used to, but there’s nothing wrong with it.

Really thought this would end up being your standard zombie schtick but turned out to be a bit more than that. Art is great l, like Ralph Steadman but more child like. Creates a great juxtaposition with the gore and violence.
