Chase and Jane are very sexy together. Chase owns a few businesses with his friends among them a stripping service where he happily takes advantages of the perks of the job. He meets Jane when her best friend sends him over to "fix her pipes" but Jane had no idea that he was a little more than any handyman she's ever dealt with before. The combination of good and dirty girl intrigues Chase. In no time, they are going at it in all the right ways. Chase takes care of some of Jane's deepest desires and allows her to become a more connected version of herself. In hotness, this book deserves 6 stars lol but because I need a little more, I felt the relationship outside of the bedroom should have been developed a little better. Now don't get me wrong, I enjoyed this but I didn't feel the depth I felt could have happened. The pacing toward the end went a little too fast and it feels like the conflict was just brushed over. I am very finicky when it comes to my porn stars/escorts/strippers and I can really like one while really hating others that are somewhat similar but this was definitely a fun read. Safety: NoOW/OM/Sharing. Neither are Vs. No condoms after the first time. No rape/abuse. There is pushing away.

So completely ridiculous, but also incredibly fun to read. A case of mistaken identity leads to plumbing being fixed.
The fact that this character sleeps with his clients on the regular is gross. He only stops when he meets the FMC.
Since finding her, things I used to find pleasure in—partying on the weekends till all hours of the morning, getting mauled by strange women, the random hookups…none of it interests me anymore.
Whenever I read a story about a male stripper, it always reminds me of how we treat female strippers vs male strippers in real life.
She’s working on her thesis about what it’s like to be viewed as sex symbols and be objectified—”
“It’s fucking awesome,” says a handsome ginger, to a chorus of laughter and agreement.

I need to cut down on the porn...

Gina Maxwell returns after a pretty long hiatus between releases, to be one of the authors launching Entangled Publishing’s, new Scorched imprint, with the start of her new series; Playboys in Love.
Those of you that have read books from the publishers Brazen imprint, will probably understand what I mean when I say that from reading Shameless it would appear they have gone one step further along the erotica path with this branch, by stepping into the unadulterated smut category. Now that’s not be being judgey or a put-down, I am all for a bit of smut on occasion. And Jane and Chase’s story fell 100% into that category for me.
"With great cock comes great responsibility."
To clarify further, reading romance for me, even on an erotic level is still carried along by a story and not just by the sex the couple has, but moving into the smut category usually tips the balance firmly to more sex over story-line for the bulk of the book. You then generally find one or both of the characters have some sort of come to Jesus moment in the latter stages to then make it more about the story and their relationship. Again, Shameless, sits firmly in that folder for me too.
I’d never had such dirty sex with such a clean girl before.
Shameless is definitely an exploration of every possible position, available entry and the dirtier aspects of sex between a fully consenting couple. And for the first 70% or so that is pretty much the mainstay of this book, as I said not a bad thing if that is what you have a yearning to read. Chase and Jane meet under unusual circumstances, and rather than fall for his charms Jane intrigues him with her initial lack of interest.
My cock must be on the fritz because her blatant disregard for my presence makes it twitch with interest.
What ensues is of the no-strings variety, with Jane exploring her sexuality with a man who certainly knows what buttons to push and how hard to push them. The last 20% is where the story really plays out, and I have to say that I actually started to like the man that the author portrayed as a bit of a tool for most of the book. Chase Danvers is your A-typical cocky-boy, and being told from dual 1st person POV you really get to see just how big his ego is.

I’m not going to lie, in all honesty I would probably say this erred on the side of not being my cup-of-tea, particularly with a few baser aspects of this storyline, but the blurb was promising, as I said I like my smut, but Shameless was literally a buffet of the stuff, and that is what I have sort of based my rating on for it really, because if you are looking for an out-and-out sexathon, this is really a book you are going to want to check out.
I have liked pretty much everything I have read by Gina Maxwell in the past, and the aspects of her writing that I liked are still there in this one, but I honestly feel that the lack of story development and depth in Shameless until the latter stages in favour of sex, took a little of the enjoyment out of this couples non-relationship. But I think that is wholly my personal preferences which is why I haven’t given it a lower rating.
There are a whole plethora of male strippers working for Playboys 4 You, starting with Chase’s co-owners Austin and Roman, and I am sure the author has even more deliciously dirty ideas up her sleeve for them as well. Not sure if this is a series I will personally continue with, but again that is down to my own reading preferences and not necessarily and lack of quality in the subject matter and how it’s offered.

This book WAS shameless!!
The story was about "too busy to be social" Jane and "a little too social" Chance. Through a 'chance' meeting (*wink), these two start a passionate no-strings arrangement. It was raw, sexy, dirty, hot, intense, etc. There were hints to D/s and humiliation, but only during sex. I cannot tell a lie, this author wrote some truly amazing intimate scenes.
Just a glimpse at one of the themes in this book. Yummmmmmmmmmmm!
So obviously no-strings turned into a lot of strings. The story was low on angst or drama, however, Chance was a manwhore before meeting Jane. Although he remained faithful to her, his side business put him in intimate situations with OW .
In the end, I enjoyed this book, far more than I anticipated. Recommended for those who like steam, witty dialogue, and stubborn-to-reform manwhores lol.

:::: giggle :::: Okay, just thinking about this book has me breaking into a fit of giggles whilst blushing furiously. It was HOTTTTTTTTTT. Like a scorcher HOT! Like on a scale of 1 - 10, it was above and beyond. It was NUCLEAR. I was NOT expecting that much yumminess. I picked Shameless up on a whim, just needing a fun story, and it was absolutely perfect. Quick, easy, utterly sexy! Downright titillating. I can't wait for Roman's book which is releasing next! I had such a blast with Chance and Jane!

She hasn’t had a decent date in years and has since become a closet porn addict and self satisfier. Jane is angry with her landlord who refuses to call a plumber and she keeps having problems in her apartment on the south shore in a building that is older than sin. She has had to learn DYI home fixes via YouTube and isn’t happy about it, so when her lawyer friend tells her she found a handyman and paid in advance, she was happy to have him come over.
The Hero: Chance - He is a stripper for hire for a company he co-owns with a few friends called P for H. He loves the extra benefits of being able to hook up with clients. The money he gets is for stripping only, so anything else is just gravy. He also owns his own construction company that he has been building for years since he finished his expensive business degree.
The Story: Jane thinks she is getting an actual handyman, not a stripper dressed as a handyman. Chance wasn’t in the mood to do any stripping that night and was surprised to see the woman without makeup and dressed in yoga pants with slippers. When Jane points him toward the bathroom, Chance thinks she wants to be seduced. After the miscommunication is figured out, Chance is looking forward to seducing the geeky girl. Chance offers to fix Jane’s bathroom if she will let him dance for her, and she agrees.
I usually don’t like stories like these, because a male stripper who regularly hooks up with his clients, kind of grosses me out. It is one thing to be a playboy and serial dater, but to hook up with a bunch of random women who hire strippers just seems icky. Though I did like Chance and the fact that he wasn’t only a stripper. I also thought it was kind of funny when he accidentally hits her laptop and wakes it up and sees the pornhub site she was watching. He gets really interested in Jane after seeing the kind of kink she likes watching. The intimate scenes are definitely super hot, but the side storylines were somewhat lacking.
This audiobook was told in dual points of view via dual narration and was narrated by Aiden Snow and Avery Reed. Avery Reed sometimes sounds a bit nasal to me, her voice is ok, but gets on my nerves just a bit. Though she doesn’t sound like she is reading and shows emotion through her voice so those are a plus. Aiden Snow is one of my favorite male narrators with a deep sexy voice.

3.5 'Shameless handyman' Stars!
Another sexy read by Gina L. Maxwell! It's been years since I read her Fighting for Love series (which I really enjoyed!) and this new series definitely has a new edgy sexiness that I did not expect.
It was an entertaining read for me but also not my favorite by Gina. Yes, I enjoyed the sex and how the couple develops that stronger connection (especially towards the end) but still.. It seems I can't like this 100% because I really do not fancy when I guy calls a woman THAT word (you'll know which one if you have read the book).
Now, leaving that aside, Shameless was a good read for me and I am surely curious about the stories on the other guys in P4H!

Ladies and Gentlemen, Gina L. Maswell is BACK! With a BANG! And WHAT A BANG IT WAS!!!
Seriously, folks! If you read and enjoyed Gina's work in the past, you'll adore Chance and Jane! 'Shameless' was super quick, super fun and super dirty! Gina writes some of the naughtiest dirty talk and some of the hottest sex out there, IMO. Truly. The chemistry between these two was off the charts and heroine's unexpected sexual fetish made it even hotter!
Bottom line: if you take it for what it is - a fun & sexy novel that's meant to entertain - you'll get a kick out of this story!

Holy sweet baby jesus in a manger. This book. THIS BOOK. When Gina PM’d me and said she had something for me to read I immediately said yes, because I flove Gina Maxwell. I didn’t even read the blurb first. And goddamn it, I had no idea what the heck I was getting myself into.
This may be a little TMI… and I don’t even care… but this book reads like my favorite freaking porn video’s all piled together in a “best of” reel. It’s like Gina asked me for every filthy favorite thing and then said “Here Jen, I wrote you something…”. You guys… I’m talking hair pulling, nail scratching, dirty talking, spanking, choking, dirty filthy sex of the absolute best kind.
Often we’ll call a super hot read a “left-hand” book because it’s the kind that will *ahem* get your motor revved… Welp, I don’t think you’ll even need your left hand for this one! There were times I was just sitting here staring at the page with a shocked expression on my face….
Did Gina Maxwell just seriously write the scene?!?!
YES, yes she did! And she did it brilliantly!! I loved the dirty sex, of course, but there’s also humor and sweetness mixed in. What starts off as a no-strings arrangement quickly becomes something more because Chance and Jane have a connection that is much more than just dirty fucking. He’s driven and kind, she’s smart and sassy. And while a ton of the getting-to-know-you stuff is highlighted and we don’t get a ton of detail, it was just right for me. Because I couldn't wait to get to the part where they fucked again because I just KNEW it was going to light my panties on fire.

This is the story of Chance and Jane. I have to admit that I really enjoy this book! The story was nice and the plot moved without being boring. The writing was funny and direct and I enjoy it! The book si written by a dual POV and it's nicely done! This is not a romance about how two persons felt in love. This is a funny, erotica book about how a sex relationship can develop.
jane is a girl that on the outside is shy and decent but she has quite daring fantasies! She is proud and honest and I really like her for it. On the other hand, she has insecurities that shouldn't be there on the first place!
Chance is an interesting guy. He is a fantasy dancer (yes, stripper!) and he really enjoys it although he doesn't need to do it anymore. I liked how he expressed his feelings but he upset me when he jumped to conclusions!
Their interactions were brilliant and steamy hot!!!! I really enjoy them!
The end of the book was also nice! It was actually a matching ending for this book and there was an epilogue that made really curious for the next installment of this series.
I definitely recommend this book to the fans of erotica.

Sorry but few nights of a scorching hot sex + a little help with your Master's degree thesis do not make a true love. There's nothing remotely romantic about that either.
The story is very rushed which in turn, makes the characters' relationship build up just as rushed. It's not convincing nor is it strong enough. Also, I found it very hard to connect to Jane and Chase.
This book really didn't work for me but if you're looking for something sexy and short, with zero conflicts and the absence of romance then this book is for you.

This is one delish story!!!
Stripper H, working student h, caught in a prank by h's friend, and so began their story. From a no-string arrangement, it moved quickly to serious feelings. How can it not? They seem to be such a right fit for each other, and they really were.
Jane is smart, considerate and quite funny. And come to think of it, so is Chance. Their conversations were witty. Even Chance's conversations with his friends were fun, who incidentally are getting their own stories (woot!).
And thanks to Jane's secret, and Chance's skillz;), their hot times are HOT, and I mean, HOT! *g*
It's a quick read. It's a fun read. It's a smokin' read. And for a first Gina read, it was quite a treat!

Stripper H, working student h, caught in a prank by h's friend, and so began their story. From a no-string arrangement, it moved quickly to serious feelings. How can it not? They seem to be such a right fit for each other, and they really were.
Jane is smart, considerate and quite funny. And come to think of it, so is Chance. Their conversations were witty. Even Chance's conversations with his friends were fun, who incidentally are getting their own stories (woot!).
And thanks to Jane's secret, and Chance's skillz;), their hot times are HOT, and I mean, HOT! *g*
It's a quick read. It's a fun read. It's a smokin' read. And for a first Gina read, it was quite a treat!

This just didn't work for me. It might work for you, but it lacked something for me. First of all, I really wished I would have known that the H was a stripper; I most likely wouldn't of been interested in reading this if I knew ahead of time. Parts of it were hot, but it was lacking some depth. IMO, it was very surface level and superficial.
If you are looking for a quick, easy, and at times hot read then you probably won't be disappointed. This is probably a case of it's me, not the book.

Chance is a stripper for hire. Jane is pretty much a good girl who has a very naughty side that not even her best friend knows about. At first Jane has no idea what's going on and even though she has some doubts she decides to live a little. This scene was scorching hot!! I mean we all have some fantasies and Chance was very eager to fulfill each and everyone.
As time progress they both realize they want more than just a causal fling and hook up. I loved seeing how caring and romantic Chance could be when it came to Jane. Who knew he had this other side to him. Jane wasn't Ms. Shy and Innocent like I thought she would be. There was a whole other side of her waiting to be unleashed. Like they say gotta watch out for those quiet ones!!
As predicted there is some drama and it was rather predictable but I still enjoyed the story. What I liked about the whole situation was that it didn't get dragged out and made into this whole big production. The couple were able to work things out the hottest way ever!
We also had a good introduction to the secondary characters Addison and Roman aka Ruthless. I can't wait to read about them and catch up with Chance and Jane as well.

This is the second time I've read Shameless and it's 100% underrated. Jane is a bad girl behind the good girl facade and it takes the right man to realize it!
Chance ends up at Jane's apartment one evening and there is a misunderstanding but it's one for the books and changes Jane and Chance's lives forever. The girl next door gets to live out her fantasies and the playboy realizes he may have found his one.
This story is HOT, angsty, and the praise/degradation kink is super well done. I loved Chance and Jane and I especially loved the grovel at the end. All of these books in this series are great but this one is my favorite.

For a short and quick read this was okay. It was sizzling hot and also funnny at times. Jane and Chance's first meeting was great. So much fun how she had no idea what was going on and how she tried fight her attraction to Chance. Their chemistry and interactions were off the charts hot. I would have liked more details and descriptions of their journey towards a relationship. It lacked deep dialogue because they talked and had a lot of sex which I'm all for but when two people decide on a relationship it takes more than just amazing sex. I know it's a short story but still a few more details about their past, present and social life would have been appreciated.
I'm still going to read Ruthless because Roman has definitely caught my interest and these playboys are very dirty which I'm very much a fan off. Also I'm positive that Addison has a bad girl hidden behind her lawyer suit.

When it comes to popping an author cherry for the first time, I’m excited like a kid in a candy store! The giddy delight I get when I meet a new or new-to-me author’s words is BOOKWORM BLISS! That rush during that initial read is off-the-charts incredible! I met my first book by Gina Maxwell after being a stalker and hoarder for a while, and it was incredible indeed! Shameless is a heart-stopping sexy romance that smolders and swoons, leaving you melting for more!
I fell in INSTANT LOVE with Shameless, an achingly addictive love story that held me hard…OWNING ME. The entertaining and enticing writing—full of delicious and dirty talk, playful banter, and heat that burned up this book—was pure intensity and intoxication. I could not put this fierce and flaming tale down. Alluring. Amusing. All-consuming. I WAS ALL IN!
Shameless had me at this line…the synopsis sucked me in sooo much.

A mix of laugh and lust laced through me and I knew already that this story would be one riveting ride of sweet satisfaction…and that it was.

Shameless by Gina L. Maxwell is one of four brand new books published by Entangled Publishing LLC (Scorched), a new category imprint, and let me just say that so far ... scorched is a very appropriate name ;) They have taken erotica to a brand new contemporary level. AND I LOVE EVERY WORD :)
I'm not gonna lie, I despise a book that's porn on paper where the romance journey takes a back seat to the sexual journey. I like my romance books to be driven by the love story, not by the sexual nature of the book. This book walks a fine line between those two. It is a VERY sexual story but not so much that it tips the scales ... but it was close.
Chance and Jane, our MCs, do have a connection that goes deeper than sexual compatibility, but you have to pay attention to get to it. Because there is just soooooo much sex. And it's GOOD sex. Gina Maxwell can definitely write a sex scene, that's for sure *yikes* LOL There's also tons of humor in the story and happy moments and just **happy sighs**...

Oh man oh man this book was epic! Talk about getting your blood flowing in all the right places! I'd love to be a fixture in this book for sure. Chance was absolutely just the sexy alpha I've been needing! If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would do just that! I can't wait to read about Roman in the next book. If it is anything like this book I'll be in heaven! Ahhh such an awesome read!

Okay yep set myself for failure here! I knew I wouldn't get a high rating on this book. But it did do the job I needed to get me out of my reading slump. It was okay I guess. But... I will be reading the next 3 books. They are nice and short and easy and doesn't take any brain power so that is okay for me.

It's hot - but the groveling was lacking for me - I was going to go with a 3, but I think I'll raise it to a 4.
Jane (psychology student) tells her friend she needs a handyman to fix her pipes. BFF sends her a stripper who is dressed like a handyman, Chance (construction, stripper). Doesn't take long for him to get her naked and some hot sex happens (I completely approve of this)!!!! What's supposed to be a no strings attached arrangement turns into lots of feelings. Oh.... but what happens when Jane accidentally ends up at her boyfriend's job and sees her cousin rubbing all over him??? Well...... yada yada - HEA.
So, the sex was hot - but when he was a jerk, he eventually realizes it and goes back, but instead of groveling, he says they need to fix things using their bodies so he f*cks her. Girlfriend doesn't even bother to put up a decent fight. Afterwards he technically says he's sorry - but it was not nearly enough to satisfy me.
AUDIO: Aiden Snow narrates and he's an orgasm all by himself.

OH MY GOODNESS! I LOVED IT!
This author cracks me up! It was so funny, but sexy at the same time. It was just wonderful and I just loved the plot, characters, sex, and even little Romeo!
I don't have much to say about this book than what I have already said earlier. The only thing that I can really critique is the time span. At times, I think, the author does not give a clear idea of how much time has passed. Yes, the author does say oh it's been a couple weeks, but overall it wasn't as clear as I would have wanted it to be.
Did that sound right??
But either way it still was a great funny read. 4.5 star rating.
