You know the final straw? The one that makes everything snap and then all hell breaks loose?
Lucifer crossed that line tenfold.
He stole my daughter…
Killed my grandfather…
I’m out for blood, and there will be no force in Heaven or Hell able to stop me. My sights are set on the Prince of Lies and I will bring him to his knees.
Lucifer will pay for all the pain he’s caused.
I was created for a reason, molded to be the Destroyer's perfect successor. With my inherited knowledge of Hell and the Shadow Realm I am building my army.
I am ready to reign on all nine circles, time for war.
Destroyer is the final book in The Dark Angel Chronicles and also Thana's last book in her series. Everything gets thrown into it. Thana comes into her own more in this book by becoming more stronger and bad***. A lot of loose ends were tied up perfectly in the course of this book and the battle with Lucifer. Family is a huge focus in this book with regards to Thana's mates and her children. It was a flaming brilliant ending and I'm looking forward to more books from this world in the future. Loved It
Destroyer is the fourth and final book in Serenity Rayne's The Dark Angel Chronicles and things are about to go out with a bang. Book three ending with a lot of chaos - Samael is gone, one of Thana's daughter's has been taken and now Thana is on the warpath to bring about balance to the realms and to bring Lucifer to his knees...and beyond. Destroyer is a mixed bag of a story. It has its good moments, and then it has its less-than-ideal moments. I really felt like there are several moments in this book where things are rushed. There are areas where I wanted more details, but the author just rushes on through it and doesn't give me everything that they can. Then there are scenes that could have been more glossed over, but ended up being focused on more. I needed less of those mundane scenes, and more of the interesting scenes of Thana making changes, bringing about something new. There is drama, and some steamy scenes, but they just don't rise to their potential until later on in the book. Yes, things get punched a bit in the big dramatic moments later on. I just wanted more. The steamy scenes aren't as steamy which is also disappointing. I just wanted more from this book throughout. The author is promising spin-off series and I have to admit that I am looking forward to them. This book, rates a 4 out of 5 stars for me.
Destroyer is the fourth in the Dark Angel Chronicles and is Thana's final book. This is it, the final battle against Lucifer.
Thana has grown into her powers and has finally accepted both sides of herself, the light and the dark. Thana is more sure of herself and her powers which is good considering she's more powerful than anyone can imagine but she's using all that power to do what she was meant to. To not only bring balance but to right so many wrongs and she's confident in doing it, especially with her mates by her side. All in the name to protect her daughters and the future.
The story had a few problems, the repetitiveness, and timing was off, and the contradictions were all issues but the overall story was interesting. That's the reason why I rounded up when rating. I love Thana's magic, it's kinda like creator power, the interesting creatures that are in Hell who are evil, and the balance between light and dark made for a good read. Plus I love the obscure 1980s movie reference that's a bit of a pop culture phenomenon. If you know, then yeah know.
Destroyer might be the end of Thana's story but Serenity isn't done with the world yet. Remember Thana's daughter Nikita, well her book is up next.
How do I start with this series, I have a love hate relationship with it, it sucks you in no doubt about that. I don’t want to rag on the author because I finished the series but I wouldn’t read again, the premise of it was fantastic it just wasn’t executed properly. I lost any feels I had for Thana she didn’t grow she just landed the mate bonds I just didn’t get she barely had time with them or again grow she was arrogant and sadistic for someone of her “status” in the 50/50 aspect, big tough archangel soldiers cried more than anything, it just I don’t know didn’t work I guess, no actual learning curve for the reader she was just “downloaded” the information the kids had no bond with her really her mates in her nest didn’t get their time to shine the writing was repetitive in places and the creatures for the “army” where boring… sorry to the author like I said I struggled through it to make sure she was paid, but it doesn’t rank in my top 40
Holy cow was this a great way to end a series! I always have high expectations for Serenity’s books and she does not disappoint! I absolutely love Thana and her mates they are fierce, care deeply and don’t back down. This is the final battle for Hell and the future of their daughters and they will let nothing stand in their way! Thana has completely turned into the absolute BA woman I expect from Serenity’s female MCs and it is amazing!! I don’t want to give any spoilers but trust me you are not going to want to miss this epic fast paced conclusion. While this may be the end of this series I’m very excited that we won’t be leaving this world just yet, with spin offs that follow the twins.
This is the last book in this series and it ends exactly how it should. All the questions have been answered- well almost-, the characters have really developed into who they are meant to be, and we get the action we do desperately want!
The writing is really spectacular, it slows and makes the story really easy to read and follow along to. The descriptions are very clear and concise so you can see what’s going on. The whole book also has you on the edge of your seat trying to guess what could possibly happen next.
Serenity Rayne will be bringing another series to the front that revolves around Thana’s daughter, Nikita. It has great promise to be even more exciting than this series and I can’t wait to read it.
This is a fantastic read for RH, PNR fans that love angels and demons.
serenity.rayne completed her Dark Angels Chronicle series. This is the final book in the series and it went out with a bang! Thana is battling her way through the rings of hell with her mates at her side.
Spice wise I took a panty of the damp-o-meter since you know ya bitch needs a whole group scene for RH to get the 5 panties. But 4 is still SIZZLING.
The storyline was good I was a tiny sad we didn't get to see more pregnancies lol but I have a baby trope obsession and this ain't that lmfao
Also, why is big M my fav in the harem?? I love him!!! Also the few we know for the daughters' mates?? I'm obsessed.
Oh wow, this was fantastic! I always end up absolutely loving every book Serenity Rayne writes, and every book in this series has been even better than the last. This was action packed and I couldn’t put it down from start to end. The writing and storyline are fantastic, the heat is just right and the characters! These have been some of my all time favourite characters, the development they make from book one to now is great. I definitely recommend this read (and this series of you have not started it yet), and I look forward to what come next from the creative mind of Serenity Rayne.
Thana, a rare light and dark nephilim, and her mates: Raphael, an archangel, Christian, a light angel, Gage, a light nephilim, Cyrus, a dark nephilim, and Metatron, another archangel, are dealing with the changes that have occurred to their family during Balanced. As the story progresses truths told are a heavy weight, they battle on against the hate, and the battle plan may leave victory until too late. Serenity Rayne set the record straight in Destroyer the final book of her Dark Angel Chronicles. I would love to read about all the children and their mate bonds.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
The final book in Thana's series is a rollercoaster and the emotions are completely haywire. They are more the driving force in Thana than her actual powers (and she has quite the arsenal at her beck and call). The battle with Lucifer was long coming, and now that it is finally happening, the clashing powers are causing quite the turmoil. There are also surprises and drama in the book, suspense and lots of tension, but also a great focus on the family aspect and how the not-so-easy situation in the harem comes together. I did not like so much the previous book, but this final one was definitely better.
I’m blown away by how much these characters have grown over the course of the series. Not only has Thana acquired and learned to control vast new powers, but she’s also matured so much from the scared, reactive ‘young’ woman we first met. It’s probably a good thing too. There are so many enemies and obstacles to overcome this time around. I loved watching this family pull together to face all their challenges. And, while I wasn’t on the verge of tears as often with this book, it might still be worthwhile having the tissues handy, just in case. I can’t wait to read what’s coming next in this world.
Wow! The last book in the series and it did not disappoint! Thana, with the strength of her mates and army, is finally strong enough to wage the battle with Lucifer to not only save her daughter, but the lives of many others. This book is filled with action that keeps you turning pages to find out what will happen next. Can't say more for fear of spoilers, just know it's a wild ride ending in a satisfying read. Although this series is ending, fear not, as the world will live on through the adventures of the children of Thana and her mates. Can't wait!
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Just wow. i loved how this series. its also the last book in this series. and it didnt dissapoint me one bit! i love how strong Thana has become with the support of her mates. even to battle lucifer to save the rest of the world and her beloved ones. this book is action packed and you dont want to put it down! you just want to know how it ends atleast i was like that. and now im thinking why didn't i put this book down so i had some more time to read it :P
Enthralling from page 1. This series just keeps getting better.
The FMC is bad ass with so much sass, her character growth in the series is phenomenal and I could not be prouder of her.
The struggles and achievements Thana and her mates have to endure and accomplish are eye opening, challenging and brilliantly written. The love between the main characters is beautiful and steamy. There were moments which made me laugh, moments which made me fill up and moments which made me rejoice. The story once again pulls you in and you will be surprised...then again when are we not with Rayne's brilliance.
Other than that I cannot tell you much more without providing spoilers or telling the story... So I'll leave you with this...
The downer was this was the last book and the series and I loved watching this family grow.
The uplifter is the next interconnected book is Nikita's! What a story that's gonna be!!!
This is the epic finale of Thana’s story, and the fourth book in The Dark Angel Chronicles. I loved this book and the series. The story is so well written, the world development is stunning, and the characters are amazing.
I loved how much Thana’s character has grown during this series. I loved how her relationships with her men grew and changed throughout the series as well. I absolutely fell in love with all of the incredible characters and the intriguing story.
This is a fantastic book and series that I would definitely recommend.
It's the last story for Thana and her mates, but don't worry if you enjoyed this series because the author Serenity Rayne will be moving on to Thana's daughter, Nikita next and we even got to meet mates for Nikita in this series too.
Everything has come to a head in this final book, Thana has her power and she must stop Lucifer and the Princes of Hell and it isn't exactly going to be easy for anyone.
A good read, I loved the fact that the author put a little more into the other daughter in this book after she was forgotten a little in the previous book. Good conclusion to the series.
This is the last installment of the dark angel chronicles and it is full of action as Thana has to to fight her way through the rings into the bowels of hell to confront Lucifer. This was everything I could have hoped for in a finale, it had plenty of action and steam and the relationships between the heroine and her mates were really solid. I was really pleased to see we are getting more from this world as the epilogue gives us the insight something is brewing and her daughters will be getting invitations to the mate trials. These upcoming series will be something to look out for!
Destroyer is the fourth and final book in the Dark Angel Chronicles by Serenity Rayne and it surely was a showstopping finale. Thana has finally come into her own accepting all of herself and is ready to fight mighty Lucifer. Won't spoil this last book, but since it's a book by Serenity, we know it's going to be amazing!!!! This last book certainly capped off this amazing series and as an extra bonus, introduced us to her next project featuring Nikita, Thana's daughter!!! I can't wait to read more about this wonderfully written world!
Wow! What a fantastic ending to this incredible series. Well written, exciting, gripping and enthralling this has been one hell of a ride and I am a sad to see it come to an end. Thana has been an absolute kick ass characters and her mates, strong, loyal and totally devoted and their relationships are hot, steamy and incredible. With the final battle for hell, Thana and her mates fight their way through and with twists and turns and surprises to keep you on the edge of your seat, that final twist makes for one hell of an ending!
Destroyer is the final book in The Dark Angel Chronicles and it’s an amazing conclusion to this series. Thana has grown into her powers and she wants her vengeance for what Lucifer has done to her family. So, along with her mates and allies, they are preparing to wage war on Lucifer. A fast paced read with likable and engaging characters, a gripping storyline, and filled with action, drama, twists, steam, and romance. A recommended read.
This is the way a final chapter should be written! Thana has struggled throughout this whole series with what her destiny would entail. Her losses and the worlds gain.. She owned it! She marched through the 4 rings of hell with whatever weapon available and prevailed. I loved how her mates did everything in their power to make it easier for her. This is a must read to see the power Thana holds. I can't wait to see what her children accomplish!
Destroyer is the last book in The Dark Angel Chronicles. Thana has finally accepted both side of herself…the light and the dark. Bringing much needed balance to the world. With the help of her mates and allies, Thana is ready for her final showdown with Lucifer.
Like the rest of the series, this book is action packed. Seeing Thana grow into herself was amazing. I’m sad to see the journey of Thana and her mates come to an end, but it was an epic adventure to see them come together.
This book was a fantastic read that I could not put down until I finished the last page. It moves along at a pace which is perfect for the flow of this story. The characters are beyond amazing. You feel as though you know them and you want to be there for them no matter what. You cannot help but love them. This story is a must read that needs to be at the top of your TBR list, no doubt about it.
Omg wish it didn’t end!!! I so love Thana!!! Fantastic ending this this series. This book sucks you right back into this world. I have seriously loved this world that the author created since book 1. The characters and the plot are just phenomenal. I recommend this times 100. Looking forward to reading what author plans out for us next. Get ready for a sitting at the end of your seat kind of story!!! Loved it!!!
Serenity Rayne does it again! She’s brought us another bad a** FMC who is perfectly capable of taking care of herself and taking out her enemies. Thana of course has the help and support of her sexy as sin men. Just don’t take what belongs to her. I loved the tie in of this series with Aurora’s series and how everything has been set up for Thana’s children’s series. So excited for what’s next!
Destroyer is the final book in the Dark Angel Chronicles by Serenity Rayne and what an epic conclusion it is! Thana our FMC has come fully into her powers and preparing along with her mates to go into war with Lucifer. This book contains plenty of action, suspense, steam, trust and a lot of challenges to overcome. I’m sure this won’t be the last we see of these characters with a spin off book coming next!
Serenity Rayne gives us the amazing finale of this wonderful series! The story of Thana and her angelic mates (both light and dark) is beautifully written with complex characters and plot twists that keep you turning pages throughout. This book takes us through all the trials to an awesome HEA! I loved reading this book and think it will quickly become a favourite. Don't miss out on this series!!
Amazing! The war of hell has finally come and Thana will have to fill the role of the Destroyer. She has faced so many obstacles that have led her to become the amazing being she is. Her five mates balance her and themselves. The twists and so many beautiful and brilliant events in this book. I so love the occasional quote from movies that she loves to toss out. The series has been amazing and I can’t wait to see what will happen in the future.
The final battle is here and I'm all for it! I absolutely loved this book. It had the suspense and build up for the final installment. It had the characters grow to their potential and I loved it. The writing was great, fun and exciting. All the loose ends are tied up perfectly and I enjoyed the whole.book from start to finish. It is the final book, and the ending had me completely satisfied with where this story finished. Great read!
