Everton Ever After #4

Missing from Everton

Rate this book
Have you ever felt like someone was watching you?

Well, here's a little bit of advice… tell someone! Don't be stupid like me and think you're imagining it. Especially if you have a super sexy special agent as a boyfriend.

Unfortunately, I didn't tell West. Or Ben or Dax. I didn't tell anyone and what did I get for keeping it to myself? I got freaking kidnapped that's what!

Now I have to wait for West to find me. Which is inevitable. I know he will. And when he does… I may just wish I was still missing from Everton.

So much growth

Overall I really enjoy this new addition the Everton series. For those that are unfamiliar, so far, the first 2 books were centered around Rowen and the second set of books have followed Quinn. Philips has come out to say that these are not "Happily Ever After's" they are "Happily for Nows" and she plans to revisit both characters in additional books in the future. I mention this because I will not be basing my review on anything that is left "unsaid" or any "plot holes" as they might be intentional hooks for the following books. The only reason this book did not receive a 5 star rating were its collection of characters and their 'screen' time. I have read all of Philips's books and this is something she has struggled with since the beginning is giving each character ample amount of time for the relationship to foster naturally on the page and not seem forgotten. She has gotten better as she has written more books with keeping characters engaged in the scenes however, I still feel the relationships are rushed and not in the since of 'fast burn'. What I mean by this is that characters go from asking for forgiveness, to not speaking to the fmc for several days, to an orgy. We also have a new player in this book who gets very little time with our fmc. Hopefully in our next set of books with Quinn these relationships our developed a little more and we get more background for these characters. Another note that I have for some, but not all of the men in the harem, is that they are very one note. It can start to feel like they are there simply for padding. I am sure the author has a reason for them to be there and that they have more background, in this book it is just not discussed. With all that being said, overall, the book is hysterical and has high marks on humor and steam. As far as the plot goes, I actually thought the book was over at about 35% because so much had happened I couldn't believe there would be more in a single book. A lot happens in a short period of time. We're talking less than a month? If I have my timelines correct. It is a lot but it makes sense for the character. The last week seems like a loss for what to do to end the book and borrows from the prior book but I do not think it detracts from the book. In conclusion, I look forward to more from Philips and the next installment in the Everton series. Overall Ratings: Characters: 😍😍😍 - West is mine Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Plot: 📖📖📖📖 Humor: 😂😂😂😂😂 Overall: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

If I hadn't already read the first three books I would definitely be reading them. Book one and two we're about Rowan and her men. They are all in this one and have great supporting parts. Oh and the kids too!
Book 3 and four are about Quinn. That's some thing to me that is different about Scarletts writing. Don't get me wrong Quinn's men all get time and povs, but they are not front and center. We get to know the three from previous book bit more. Yes West stands out but he should he's known her over 20 years! As well as adding a few more! But I am not telling who you need be surprised like I was on one! The other two if you read previous book you will recognize. Each guy has subtle differences, can you catch them? However, they have similarities too!
The last book left us cliffhangered. Trust me I've whined to Scarlett for months! Well, we get our answers and rescue but a mess of Smexy guys about half way. The rest the book is but bonding and dealing with an unexpected power popping up.
So if you like sweet light PNR RH or are looking for your first PNR RH and want start out light this is a perfect series fir you. You can read one an two and take a break the read three and four you wont miss anything. Now it is a HEA FOR NOW so don't whine when not all your questions aren't answered Scarlett haas more Everton to come!

Family/Love/Happiness

Quinn is one of my favorite characters from Everton. I'm always excited to read about her.
This book was really good. We get plot, fun parts sexy time and very deep emotions.

We see the growth of Quinn and the guys. How she let's them in and admits that she needs them. Even when it takes time but it was really good.

I like that bad time brings the guys together to help her. At that time you see how good they work together and how much she needs every single one of them. They complement each other.

The guys take their time with her and getting to know her and be what she needs. They are perfect. There were a couple of times that I wanted to slap one of them an make him open his eyes.. lol

I really like that we get POV of Rowen and her guys it help you to get all of the angles and what everyone is feeling. I love Violet and I was so sad that she had all of those feelings. She is perfect.

The sexy timeeeee was HOT AS F*** Yummy hot..

At the end I was happy to see her happy she deserve it.

Missing from Everton by Scarlett Philipps is the second part of Quinn’s duet. I have to say Scarlett is excellent at writing cliffhangers. I am thankful the second part is ready to go.
Thankfully Quinn finally realizes she can not do this alone AND the guys actually learn to work together. This whole book is about growth for everyone. We even get to spend some with Rowen and her crew. Also watching Violet as she deals with things. The spiciness is perfect and intense, i enjoyed it. This was a well written book and a perfect ending to Quinn’s story.
Thank you Scarlett for a well written series! Everton is such a beautiful place! I hope you keep writing about it!! I love the characters and love of family and life they have created. Highly recommend this series and author!

Fantastic

I absolutely loved this story! This is the fourth book in Scarlett Phillips Everton Ever After series. Book 3 and 4 center around Quinn her Men. Missing from Everton picks up right after the cliffhanger of Dating in Everton. There is action, magic, fun times and romance. The story is captivating and I was hooked right through to the end. Scarlett's characters are wonderful. Quinn is amazing and full of sass and the guys are hot. We also get to see Rowe and everyone from her books and of course the children are adorable. There are a few surprises along the way. I highly recommend this book and can't wait for more stories from Everton .

This book picks up where the last book left off with everyone finding out that Quinn is missing and deciding on a course to find her. Quinn is rescued fairly quickly but the issues do not stop there. Quinn must now figure out her relationships with her men, both old and new. And the guys must grapple with the fact that Quinn was taken under their watch and come to terms with the fact that it was not their fault. I am very excited to read more from both Rowe and Quinn in future books, I am in love with these characters and this town.

Love This Town!
Everton is where I come when I want to find my happy place. Quinn’s second book was all the things I love about this world. There was excitement, a little bit of angst while a certain someone got his head of his 🍑, lots of steam and loving goodness. I was glad to see at the end of the book that Ms Phillips promised more stories to come about Rowe and Quinn and their sexy men.

Yes she's back and what a way! Now being kidnapped wasn't what she expected to happen but it did. Now she knows West will find her and when he does she'll be telling him she was missing from Everton. They all get their moments to shine and I love the different POVs. This is book 4 which is the second book with Quinn in the lead so do read at least book 3 though I enjoyed the other books too so read them all and be a happy camper. I will be rereading this series for sure.

Even better than expected!

I have said many times that Scarlett is one of my favourite authors! Never a book written that isn't just spectacular! The characters are written so realistically, the world is one I wanna live in and the twists! Quinn's second book is even better than the first (if that's even possible!) And I loved seeing her grow and hearing her story! I am first in line for whatever comes next!!!

This book was instant drama. The last book had such a dramatic ending and I loved that this one immediately picks it back up. Violet learning her Aunt Quinn was gone was heart breaking. It seems like ALL the guys are finally getting their stuff together. I loved the fighting between West and Salvatore; I think it’s my favorite part of the book. West deserved every bit of it! This was a great read and I can’t wait for more from Scarlett Philips!

Great Read.

This book is a paranormal reverse harem romance, written in first person and is MPOV. I would say it is medium burn with low/medium spice. I really enjoyed this book as I have the previous books in the series. I especially liked it when they guys all came together to find and rescue Quinn. Overall, this is a really great book and a good conclusion to Quinn’s story, I would recommend giving it a read.

Quinn is my hero

Quinn’s continuation is amazing. We get a couple new editions. Lots of drama, suspense and sexy times. I love her dynamic with the guys. We get to see Rowe and the guys. I hope Violet and Logan get a story together when they get to be older. They’d make a cute couple.

Finally together

Finally, after being kidnapped then rescued she starts to get her guys.
Considering most of them didn't know each other in the beginning, it's good to see that they will do anything for her love.
It's also good to see their doubts as well and not just hers.
And that they all manage to find ways to figure things out.

Fun

I really love Quinn’s character. She’s a little clingy, a lot sassy, and full of fun. This book, this duet, is so good. Magic, a little kidnapping, some romancing, fun dates -it’s a great romance book. Really enjoyed it!
