About the author

Hannah began her professional career as a music major. She observed one middle school choir class and quickly learned that a life as a choir teacher wasn’t the path for her. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sociology. After undergraduate school, she spent four years working as a salesperson and working on her master’s degree. Hannah received her master’s just in time for the worldwide pandemic, which left her open to explore what it was she wanted out of her career and, well, life.


Like many readers who loved young adult fantasy in middle and high school who took a years-long break, the pandemic threw her back into her love of reading and writing again full force. Since then, she has taken the chance to pursue something she truly loves. She gave up on the idea of making a living out of singing or literature when she was a child, and now, as an adult, she sees that the only thing between her and success in the things that she loves is her own self-doubt, and there is no longer space in her life for that kind of negativity.


Hannah has goals of sharing her stories and art with people who need those things most in their lives.

There is something about the world building in the Shattered Source books that just keeps me coming back for more.

I will be honest my favorite character is Avery, and while their roll wasn't huge here I absolutely love them. Like I feel if I existed in a world with Avery we would be besties, and I would constantly be giving them a hard time just to watch them spin a little....

I am looking forward to seeing more of these characters soon!

Gen is SUCH a lovable character! And Wren is yet another character from this world that I am absolutely swooning over. The characters all feel very real and the banter is refreshing.
I loved this little bit of insight into this world because it's so fraught with danger and the threat feels very real. All in all, a very fun, quick read that makes me excited for more!

I loved this novella and getting a sense of the world she is building. It was short and sweet but still packed a punch in terms of content.

I will say there was a ton of information packed in such a short frame. I’d love to see it expanded upon and see where else this story could take her.

Also Avery stole my heart her abilities are so fascinating in terms of magic and honed skills.

I absolutely loved this novella. It was a great way to dive into a new world and understand the magic of it. All the characters are fun, lively and lovely. Wren was hands down my favorite. I highly recommend this.
