He was born in South Haven, Michigan, and grew up in Jonesborough, Tennessee. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from East Tennessee State University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Tennessee. He lived in Johnson City, Tennessee until his tragic, untimely passing in November of 2018.

another great series, highly recommended
Grand slam. I’m so glad to have stumbled upon your books. They are so engaging,enjoyable and entertaining. I first started out reading romance books but they were too simple and predictable, then I moved on to mafia and gangster or street books, which I loved but had to take a break from all the violence and somehow I clicked on Mr. Pratt books and I’ve been intrigued ever since with these categories of books. I’m now wondering how I missed these authors and their books. Mr. Hodge, just like Mr. Pratt, you are an excellent storyteller writer. Your penmanship is remarkable. Your characters are relatable but I didn’t want to see Billy in a relationship with Holly. I wanted Billy and Claire to have an HEA. I just have no words for Rachel. I hate that happened to Jackson, please forgive Jackson and bring him back. He was a good person, just got hung up with a crazy person.

Great reads!!
Having read all of Scott's previous books, I started these with dome trepidation. No need!! These are every bit as interesting, especially to someone who lived several years in Coke County. Look forward to mote.
