Many sought to take advantage of the power the moon goddess bestowed onto lycans—immortality, immense strength, and other supernatural gifts. For centuries, the last female lycan, Della Rosai, has roamed the world under the guise of a human just to remain safe from anyone who might use her for their selfish deeds. It worked for the longest time, until she met her lycan mate, Dxton Bosque.
She is once again thrown to the supernatural world, the one world she tried to shun in her life. It's a dilemma she never thought she would have. But after an attack on Dxton's pack, she was left with no choice but to embrace her lycan roots once more. Slowly accepting her mate, her lycan, and her new home, Della finally took the reins of White Crescent Moon Pack as their luna.
Yet something is still bound to happen. A great war is brewing, led by a blind seed who Della must face. Will she choose to kill, or will she choose to let go?
I first started reading this story on whattpad and I loved the story! I wanted to finish it and saw it was on Amazon. But as soon as I started reading it, it became apparent that this version is very different. I personally loved the other version better and wish I could have finished that one instead.
It was a good story, but the writing was off. It's almost like the author didn't finish taking English in school. Using past and present tense in the same sentence, using present tense when it should be past tense. Not using proper sentence structure, missing words, or getting words backwards. You just had to use your imagination a lot to get the sentences to make sense. Sometimes not being clear about who was speaking or making it difficult to invision what was happening. The story itself was pretty good, it was definitely unusual and had good ideas. There's was action, adventure, love, magic, mystery, violence, intrigue, and lots of triggers. Almost everything you could want in a book. I recommend this book if you're looking for something different to read. Enjoy!
I’m conflicted about the rating, on one hand, the premise is good, the use of mythology to explain why she was the only female lycan. On the other hand, the story felt flat, it didn’t evolve nor progress as the story goes on. The characters felt one dimensional and their interactions rather childish for a 600 yr old lycan. The author could have delve deeper into the reasoning behind Della’s actions and in doing so, trying to connect with the reader. Dxton is no less, he appears as the epitome of man child. Another thing that confused me is their dialogue, the characters tendency to change from first person to third is rather confusing, I get that it is to portray the wolf’s viewpoint but regardless it was hard to follow.
Spice rating 1/10 I really liked the story line the book offered. It sounded promising. The author I believe got confused a few times on what character was talking. Della was on the phone with Ness but then it was Jade then back to Ness.( and it wasn’t a three way call) Also the reveal to her mate about her being lycan was very lack luster to say. Needed more dramatics if you ask me. Then witches were brought into the story line 2/3 of the way in. When there was no mention of any other supernaturals. Book just seemed alittle all over the place.
There is a good story here it just needs editing It reads as though English is a second language for the writer so it doesn’t flow and it leaves the reader constantly re-reading to get the meaning of the sentence. However, the story has good bones and with a good re-write and editing it would be a solid 4
Thank You so much for the guidance on where to gi d your book. Originally I was reading it on Wattpad. This is a fantastic book, keeps you on the edge of your seat. I can not wait until you have another book written I hope there is a sequel.
In all honesty, I had a pretty hard time finishing this book. I really do enjoy this genre however, this book I just could not connect to. I did not feel like the main two characters had a ton of chemistry.
