The Hero: Tetryx - when he was eight years old, the Shidars invaded his world, and his parents were both killed. He promised his mother that he would hide aboard a ship and get to the world his mother came from, to find the rest of her family. He promised he would stay away from the Shidars and someday would find his fated mate and he would know it was her because he could see colors. Broudire warriors could only see black and white till they found their mates. However, he was captured by a Shidar warlord, Lord Voon.
The Story: Tetryx and 3 other males from different species were taken by the Lord, tortured and experimented on for twenty years, till they looked monstrous and had special abilities. They also had a bond between them. Though they refused to show their captors that they actually had abilities, so they were sold and entered into the Galaxy Games, a televised event throughout the galaxy where they were each paired with a female and had to finish different tasks without being killed. Few, if any, made it through alive.
The heroine: Anna - she was working a dead-end job as a maid for a man who sexually harassed her on the regular. She needed the job though, since she’d had to quit high school when her parents died. When the mans wife caught them together, the guy blamed her and she was fired. On her way home, she was abducted by aliens, along with some other human women. They were the females paired with each of the monsters in the Galaxy Games.
Tetryx is paired with Anna and knows immediately that she is his fated mate by the fact that he can see colors for the first time. This book was exciting. They came up against some very dangerous animals and more. There was also the storyline about Tetryx being scarred from the experiments and thinking he is monstrous, he doesn’t think there is any way that Anna could love him. Anna thinks she is just holding him back because he has to do everything for them.
This audiobook was told in dual points of view and was narrated in dual narration by Tawnia Murray and Lance Greenfield. Lance Greenfield has a fairly deep voice that is a bit gravelly. He is very expressive, though he isn’t one of my favorite narrators. Tawnia Murray has a nice voice, though you can tell she is reading by her tempo. She isn’t too bad though.

A Sweet & steamy Sci-fi Romance w/Fated Mates
It's a sweet & steamy sci-fi romance w/fated mates.
I loved the detailed physical descriptions of the aliens, very cool and unique. Character building and backstory were excellent too.
There was plenty of action and danger as the couple competed in the games. The games themselves, weren't very believable or intricate (the setup seemed improbable). But once I overlooked that, it was a solid and enjoyable read. The pet companion was probably my favorite, so very cute.
Due to some sailor language and spicy scenes, I suggest for adults only. It never went to dark places (though there is violence & survival in the games) and it always had consent. I will def give the next book in this series a go. The sneak-peek for book 2 seemed 🔥, so I'm hopeful I'll like it even more than this one.
I accidentally bought the wrong series the first time around, bc the authors first names are the same lol. But I have to say that the "games" in Ava York's (The Alien Games) series were more intricate and believable to me. (Personal opinion ofcourse)

This book is so good! It is filled with action, suspense and romance! The world building is great. The characters are incredible. The storyline is engrossing. I adore Tetryx! Such a beautiful soul. Anna is a great match for him. The ending is awesome! This series is amazing! I can't wait for the other Brothers stories! I love Ava Ross, her writing always touches me.

Let the games begin! Tetryx (H) and Anna (h) are forced participants in a series of televised challenges that are constructed for failure. The H/h are very strong characters who use their skills and abilities to aid one another to get through the games. Tetryx has been traumatized by years of experimentation and abuse. Anna is traumatized by her abduction from Earth. There is a lot of action - in terms of the game challenges and the growing relationship between them, which very quickly becomes sexual. This is a fated mates story - the H recognized the h as his mate almost immediately. Their relationship is initially troubled by communication barriers. Two things that bugged me a little bit have to do with the resolution of the story. First, the end of the game felt like it relied on Deus ex machina - the unexplained outside entity, which I realize will likely be explored as part of the other three books, felt like a tack on. Second, the ultra-quick revenge - I felt kind of cheated as the H kept talking about wanting revenge, like Inigo Montoya in The Princess Bride not really getting a full, worthy revenge. On a side note, this story reminds me of the labyrinth game in Alien Hunter's Fate, also by Ava Ross.

What a fantastic book! I absolutely loved it! Great world building. The story hooked me from the start. It was exciting, fast paced, and full of action, danger, and suspense. But as much as I loved the story, I loved the characters even more. They completely captivated me. Tetryx and Anna have such amazing chemistry and worked so well together against all they had to face over the course of this book. Tetryx won my heart. In all of these alien romances, there is always some telltale sign that the alien experiences when they find their mate- from a scent, to the sudden beating of a second heart, or the sudden working of an extra appendage *wink.* I loved that in this book, that sign was the ability to see in color. I thought that was very unique- and what a wonderful experience that must be to know only black and white and to suddenly see all the world in color when you find the one you are fated to spend your life with. Too bad Tetryx wasn't in a position to enjoy the moment when it happened for him here. I loved this story and can't wait to read those of his brothers. 5 stars.

After getting a language translator, she begins to understand that they must work together to survive the games. Tetryx will do anything to save his mate. Anna behind to see past his looks and see he has a beautiful heart. It is a brutal game. However, they get moments to explore their passion.

March 5, 2022This book was a great kick off to what I have a feeling is going to be a amazing new series. It gives a good starting point and the promise of variety with the characters.
Tetryx and Anna kick off the series and they do not have anything easy. Think The Amazing Race mixed with The Hunger Games and you’ve got an idea of what their dealing with. Despite the crazy they go through, we have plenty of time to get to know them. Sally was the best little addition to their group. I was cheering them on the whole way.
The Secondary characters are set up to get their own stories in the series and I can’t wait to see how they overcome their own obstacles.

Anna (An-an) is abducted from Earth. She is entered into the Galaxy Games along with Tetryx. They face three challenges. To say the games are riged would be an understatment. Tetryx knows Anna is his mate the second he see's her.

Another fabulous start to a series I will definitely read with pure enjoyment! Ava Ross has become my favorite author! She is clever with her prose and is constantly reinventing this reading genre! Once again this is a new series that grabs you from the first chapter. Four young boys are taken and experimented on to become Lord Vunne’s army of beasts. When they are sold as gladiators for entertainment, throw in some strong Earth women, and you have a fabulous read into a dangerous alien world. The romance is hot! Download and enjoy ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Wow what a great start to the series. It’s similar to hunger games but with aliens called galaxy games. There’s constant excitement and just when you think they are going to succeed something else comes along and they have to beat it. Lots of action and hot romance. A definite read! Looking forward to reading about the other couples in the series.

Tetryx, an alien who has a tortured past and Anna has been abducted from Earth, have been forced to be a part of the Galaxy Games where they have to complete 3 tasks or die trying. Once I picked this book up I absolutely couldn’t put it down until I finished it, I tried numerous times lol. I can’t wait for the next book!!!

Anna is an earth women that isn’t prepared for an alien hunger games. She is picked up and dropped off with a giant alien male.
Tetryx has been on a horror course for his life up to the point where he meets Anna. She is the one his mother told him about. They will have a HEA if they can beat and win this game. But will the game even let them win. Chances are slim they will get out of there alive.

My favorite thing about this book was the characters. Tetryx was a tortured soul but sweet, determined, and protective. Anna was compassionate and able to see past appearances to the type of person someone is on the inside. Their chemistry was amazing, the way they worked together as a team to survive was proof they were meant to be. A successful mix of humor, chemistry, romance, and action.. Argumento:
Obligado a competir en un juego mortal, un héroe alienígena torturado hará todo lo posible para proteger a su destino.
Cuando era niño, fui robado por el señor de los invasores de mi planeta. Me llevó a la cámara, donde guardaba a otros que también se había llevado. A lo largo de los años, mis nuevos hermanos y yo nos convertimos en bestias endurecidas, cada una con una habilidad única que no debería existir fuera del mito. Somos monstruos. Cualquier mujer que nos mire huirá.
Ahora hemos entrado en los Juegos Galaxy. Cada paisaje contiene una serie de trampas mortales, metas cambiantes y un destino final difícil de alcanzar. Es mi oportunidad de liberarme.
Pero estoy emparejado con una deliciosa mujer terrestre que me hace ver el color por primera vez, demostrando que ella es mi compañera predestinada.
Terminaré este juego. Liberaré a mis hermanos. Y reclamaré a la mujer terrícola como mi premio.
Mi humilde opinión:
Una humana secuestrada de la tierra y un alien roto son puestos a competir en pareja en el Game Galaxy para ganarse su libertad. Un planeta diseñado con obstáculos mortales, malvados presentadores que querrán verlos fracasar a casa paso y tres retos para poder ser libres. Tetryx tendrá una razón más fuerte que la venganza para ganar: Anna es la mujer que lo hace ver en colores, su pareja destinada.
La entrada de la heroína, Anna, no sé si era para reír o llorar. No solo la acosa su jefe en el trabajo sino que la esposa la acusa después de ladrona. No sé cómo pero ella logra escapar para ser secuestrada por aliens en el camino. Todo fue tan rápido, medio confuso y nada realista. Yo estaría enloqueciendo con todo lo que me está sucediendo, abducida por aliens y arrojada a la arena con enormes aliens PERO Anna pasó a ser increíble. No solo acepta a Tetryx por cómo sino que ella demostró ser fuerte y valiente, es encantadora, atrevida y divertida. Además, adoptó de inmediato a Sally, la pequeña ardilla extraterrestre? No sé qué bicho era pero fue adorable y brava porque cuidaba de Anna y Tetryx. Los salvó muchas veces.
El héroe es Tetryx uno de los cuatro hermanos cautivos con quien experimentó Lord Vunne para convertirlo en arma. Me partió el corazón ese niño perdiendo a su madre. Odie a Lord Vunne y todo lo que le hizo a los niños. A pesar de la bestia en que se convirtió, Tetryx no dejó de ser dulce y compasivo. El cariño por sus hermanos adoptivos lo decía todo. Espero puedan encontrarse los cuatro de nuevo.
Como es un romance sobre parejas destinadas, esto fue amor a primera vista, todo se mueve rápido pero me gustó, con sus partes lindas y picantes. Tetryx y Anna eran una pareja que funcionó para mí, sobretodo porque formaron equipo, se cuidaban las espadas mutuamente y se preocupaban genuinamente por el otro.
Me gustó el estilo reality de la historia, el ambiente artificial que se creaba en el planeta para cada juego. También estuvo genial que Tetryx y sus hermanos sean diferentes físicamente y que tengan habilidades únicas que ocultaron a propósito y les sirva para sobrevivir en cada reto.
Pensé bien por Tetryx cuando al final recupera su patrimonio familiar y le da su merecido a Lord Vunne. Apostando por su hermano Bahros en los juegos.
Me encanta cuando se mezcla el romance con la aventura, en este libro hizo que la lectura fuera divertida y que apoyara a los protagonistas. Más aún cuando los villanos eran tramposos y ponían dificultades en su camino para verlos perder.
Obviamente continuaré con la serie, tengo curiosidad por las demás parejas. Ojalá sea otra buena aventura.

Tetryx was captured by the invader Shiedar Lord Vunne right after his mother died and taken to his dungeons. There, with other youngsters, including his friends Bahros, Zomir and Adone, he was tortured and experimented upon to become a possible weapon for Lord Vunne. The four of them protected each other as much as possible and never let on when the experiments actually worked. Bahros had a gift of sometimes being able to predict what might soon happen and he predicted that Tetryx would meet his mate soon. Tetryx’s mother had told him that he would know his mate when he met her because he would be able to see in color, instead of the black and white he currently saw. Then Lord Vunne told them that he had sold them to someone who was looking for four males to enter in the Galaxy Games.
After catching her husband kissing on the struggling maid, Anna, he accused Anna of coming on to him. She then accused Anna of stealing her diamond necklace and called the police on her. Just as the police were closing in on her, she was abducted by aliens. When she came to after being rendered unconscious, she was in a cell on the aliens’ ship, where she met three other women in the cells around her, being Camila, Summer and Jade, all of whom had been abducted from Earth. I love the author’s alien romance stories and was excited to get an ARC of this book on BookSprout. This is an exciting beginning to a new series and I loved the added element of the Galaxy Games. The character descriptions and development are great and the world building is even better. The challenges the two must meet are almost impossible and the Games are set up to work against them, but there might be a little help out there somewhere. It was a fun, fast read and I really loved it!

Tetryx was captured by the invader Shiedar Lord Vunne right after his mother died and taken to his dungeons. There, with other youngsters, including his friends Bahros, Zomir and Adone, he was tortured and experimented upon to become a possible weapon for Lord Vunne. The four of them protected each other as much as possible and never let on when the experiments actually worked. Bahros had a gift of sometimes being able to predict what might soon happen and he predicted that Tetryx would meet his mate soon. Tetryx’s mother had told him that he would know his mate when he met her because he would be able to see in color, instead of the black and white he currently saw. Then Lord Vunne told them that he had sold them to someone who was looking for four males to enter in the Galaxy Games.
After catching her husband kissing on the struggling maid, Anna, he accused Anna of coming on to him. She then accused Anna of stealing her diamond necklace and called the police on her. Just as the police were closing in on her, she was abducted by aliens. When she came to after being rendered unconscious, she was in a cell on the aliens’ ship, where she met three other women in the cells around her, being Camila, Summer and Jade, all of whom had been abducted from Earth. This is part of a 4-book series. As a basis, 4 aliens were taken from their homes as young boys by an evil alien Warlord named Vunne. This captor performed torturous experiments on the boys as they grew, in attempt to turn them into indestructible warriors. The shared experience bonded these 4 males together over time, where they became closer than brothers. Unfortunately, these experiments failed miserably (or so Vunne thought), so he sold his warriors to the Galaxy Games. Along with the aliens, four females were kidnapped from Earth and forced to pair up with the brothers to participate in the universally televised games. The idea is simple: Survive the games, and live. Or die trying. Each book follows one of these brothers. Packed with adventure and romance, these first person novels do not disappoint.
Alien Warrior Unleashed follows the alien brother Tetryx and his human partner Anna. Tetryx’s abilities, no doubt, are the only reason they survived the games while the “controller” did all he could to see them dead. His ability to change skin color (to blend into his surroundings) and to glide in the air (like a flying squirrel or gliding lizard) helped the pair evade the dangerous creatures within and beat the impossible time restrictions. While Anna wasn’t enhanced like Tetryx, she contributed in her own way. Her kind hearted spirit befriended a little creature from a cave (similar to a bunny or a squirrel), which proved an invaluable asset. With beauty, brains, and a big heart, it was no mystery to why Tetryx fell for Anna fast and hard. The love and lust they shared in their adventure to stay alive was warming and exotic. I was more than happy to be along for the ride.
I’m sure it’s obvious that they beat the games, so I’m comfortable saying that without providing spoilers. Tetryx gets his long-overdue revenge on Vunne and reclaims his family home, where he and Anna live happily ever after.
Highly recommended read.

This book is the first book in a four part series called the Galaxy Games. It can be read as a standalone.
Four alien men have been tortured and experimented on since they were children. The warlord, Vunne, who has done this thinks the experiments have failed as the men hide some of the successes from him. Vunne sells them to the Galaxy Games which is like an intergalactic hunger games. The four men consider themselves to be brothers to each other. It did seem a little unlikely that they were never sent on a mission or otherwise tested. It seemed as if they did nothing between experiments.
Meanwhile, four human women were abducted and brought to the Games as well. The four women coincidentally are the fated mates of the four men. Nice for the storyline, but unlikely. Tetryx knows that Anna is his fated mate as he can see colors for the first time in his life.
In the first match up involves Tetryx and Anna. They have to find three arrows in the Galaxy Game dome to win the game. Tetryx has many enhancements and natural abilities that make him a formidable competitor. Anna, on the other hand, does not add as much to the team as Tetryx frequently has to carry her. Tetryx also has some natural abilities that make him an amazing lover. Most of the time, but not all, Anna simply allows him to pleasure her. Nice, but not equal.
However, Anna does quickly come to care for him, something that he has not had much of in his life. He also believes that he is repulsive because of the enhancements done to his body. She also begins a relationship with an animal in the jungle which helps them immensely in being (spoiler) successful in the game. When Tetryx is injured, Anna cares for him.
It is amazing that Tetryx was able to keep his humanity despite everything done to him. He had a selfless, honorable core.

Anna is such a sweet woman. And she’s so kind, compassionate and caring. Even more, I loved her bravery and optimism while facing all the unexpected dangers thrown her way. She’s so amazing and I loved her so much.
And Tetryx is one magnificent male! This scarred Brudire warrior has been through so much. But despite all the hardships, he’s one gentle, sweet, strong, determined and fiercely protective male. And an absolute badass! I adored everything about him!
Everything that happened between Anna and Tetryx was so wonderful. They were such a great team when facing all the dreadful situations. And their chemistry was absolutely amazing. What I loved most, was that Anna was able to see beyond Tetryx monstrous appearance and discover the magnificent male he truly is. They were so perfect for each other and the passion they shared was off-the-charts hot!
In addition, the worldbuilding and the storyline were absolutely fantastic. The Galaxy Games were full of deadly obstacles and Saldirn, being a planet made of dense jungles and full of raging creatures, added even more to the wild and dangerous experience. Even more, I was really fascinated with the Brudire and the fact that they could see color only after meeting their fated mate. And, when you add a fierce and adorable alien pet to the mix, you get a great story that I couldn’t put down till the very end.
Overall, the story is a wonderful start of the series. It’s filled with non-stop action, adventure, danger, humor, steamy romance and magnificent characters.
I loved it and cannot wait to see what will happen next with Tetryx’s brothers and the other Earthlings!

This is an excellent read, the stakes of alien romance amped WAY up by the situation that Anna and Tetryx find themselves in. With the high-action and high-stakes, it’ easy to get hooked and lose all track of time following along. Plenty of steam, and a protective hero with surprising abilities even in the bedroom. Looking forward to checking out the rest of the Galaxy Games, the stories of Tetryx’s brothers and Anna’s fellow abductees/friends! With Bahros and Jade starring, I suspect readers are in for even more surprises than with Tetryx and Anna. Ava Ross is a queen of stellar alien romances, and I always enjoy visiting her worlds.

I really loved reading this book. There’s new aliens and planets and a variety of species. The characters are awesome and the world building is vivid and exciting. This is the story of Tetryx and Anna and I highly recommend reading it. There’s action, danger, abductions, experimentations, steamy scenes and much more ending in a happily ever after.
Tetryx and his brothers were experimented on as children by Lord Vunne and now they are older he has sold them to compete in the Galaxy games. They are each paired with one Earth female to compete and they must complete three missions. Tetryx species only see in black and white until they meet their fated mate, so when he starts seeing colour after seeing Anna he’s shocked. When he is paired with her for the games he vows to live through each task and protect Anna. They are left in a dome on a planet and must reach certain places. On the way they meet a small squirrel looking creature that Anna names sally. Sally seems to be very intelligent and actually helps with the tasks and also looking out for Anna and Tetryx. Tetryx was only eight when a foreign race landed on his planet and took over. He watched his father be cut down and his mother passed not long after. Following his promise to his mother he tries to make it to a ship but is found by Lord Vuune. That male is an amoeba on a flea on a rat! He locks up Tetryx and experiments on him trying to create an elite unbeatable soldier. Slowly his solitary cell becomes home to another three males. They become brothers sharing in the horrific treatment until Lord Vileness decides to sell them to the Games. Anna was not having a great day. She's a maid for a rich woman who is married to a total letch. He tries to harass her and the wife then accuses Anna bad behaviour and theft, calling the police to arrest her. Anna manages to get away but it is very much a case of out of the frying pan and into the fire. She wakes to find herself abducted by aliens. Then tied up and dumped into an arena where there are four huge terrifying male creatures and some weird little blob thing whizzing about. Could be worse.... Plan B anyone?
Loved this so much. I felt positively violent towards Vuune and what he did. Fantastic tale and wonderful characters. I cannot wait to find out what happens to everyone.
