ARIEL You know what's worse than having to slink back home with my tail between my legs to work retail? Having Jax Hudson take one look at me across a bar and decide I'm still fourteen-years-old. He's just gonna waltz right in and slide back into his role of "cleaning up Ariel's messes"? Well, I'm gonna slide right back into my role of thinking he's the most irritating person on the planet. He needs to learn there's no way he can make me do anything.
JAX Just when my life seems to be looking relaxed, life has to go throw me a cruve ball, huh? And those curves are attached to Ariel Day - simultaneously the most irritating and gorgeous human being in existence. And my best bud's little sister. The woman can't walk in a straight line without finding trouble. Exhibit A: she walked back into San Remo and straight into the Wild Hawks Clubhouse. What's a man to do but pick right back up looking out for her? She's Charlie's little sister. There was never any other option.
How many times can two people clash before they end up where everyone knows they belong. In bed together. Jax knows once he's had Ariel, there's no going back, but is he willing to risk Charlie - the only family he's ever known - just for a chance at forever with the woman of his dreams?

hmm... i thought the first book was okay but wasnt particularly impressed with this book.
firstly, the connection between the characters was kind of weak. the hero just keep appearing to save the heroine because she keep getting herself into trouble. secondly, the way the heroine is being portrayed feels overly dramatic. she keepssss getting into all sorts of trouble constantly. i was getting an eye roll already to be honest. thirdly, the friendship dynamic between the heroine and her best friend is just kind of weird. their character varies too much, and the way the heroine reacts to her best friend or vice-versa makes me doubt the friendship.
oh well~ it's my personal opinion either way, some people might not find any problems with the book.

Beautifully written story giving us an inside look into the MC world. The chemistry between Jax and Ariel was off the charts hot 🔥 the plot flowed smoothly and once I started this book I could not put it down. This author is a definite one click for me ❤
