A bit immature but... A good sexy romance, insta love, kind of when remeeting. The title is misleading as it should be My best friend's dad or maybe My Son's ex Girlfriend as it is only the dad that doesn't know they were never together. Lori knows they were only best friends and never dispelled the truth.

So not just being open about it years later? Then there is the angst of telling those that matter to them and "when" it should happen. Umm, what does it matter if before or after sex? Only if they are waiting for marriage. What are they going to say, "Umm, we want to have a relationship, with you permission?" WTF. No coming out and saying, we are in a relationship and love one another would be the strongest position. So a little contrived for plot and not in a way I thought good. Along with that, you can see what is coming with his son, it is obvious that he is gay. and her first secret we knot that she is pregnant. So why try to build it, or maybe other don't know? I cannot imagine.

The last thing that irked was the 20 year old virgin and never been kissed plot that just annoys, especially that Lucas is a "you are mine" "I own you" self talk and dialog, which is creepy. After that it is a sweet romance with just a little sexy times 2 scene, one is full sex and then talking about it and lead in but no more. The multiple epilogues were nice and gave a HEA feel to a insta love story.

CUTE!

This is a cute insta-love age gap romance. While it’s a little light on the angst, it does not detract from the story.

This book has everything else that makes it so good. The chemistry between the main characters is off the charts as well as the feelings they share.

It’s a book that once started, you don’t want to put down until it is done!

I thought that this was a good book. I really liked Lukas and Lori together. The connection, pull, and chemistry between these two was really good. Lori and Lukas know that they shouldn't fall for each other but you can't stop love or fate. I enjoyed this book and I would recommend it and Ms. Flora as a great author.

Sometimes things are not what they seem
Lori had come home from college to help take care of her father who has cancer. She is still going to college but close to home. There’s a plus to coming home that she gets to see her best friend Jamie again. The downside is the fact that she’s had a crush on his dad for as long as she can remember. Lucas is one hot daddy she knows nothing will come of it would hurt Jamie but she can fantasise.
Lucas are starting to feel very lonely. Single parent since his wife dying in a car crash. And he put everything he possibly could into bringing up his son and make a good life for him. Thankfully he worked hard and now that was paying off as he had many car showrooms and other businesses that made sure he never had to worry about money again. When he’s very independent son’s old banger of a car broke down he called Lucas to come and pick him up. And he got the shock of his life when he saw Lori Jamie’s ex, she has changed a lot since coming back from college and his heart just sped up when he saw her. But could anything come of it? what would his son think? What does lori think about him?
What an enjoyable read. I really liked Lucas , Lori and also Jamie. It would’ve be fun to read Jamie story as well. I like that Lucas is very protective of Lori and the passion and chemistry is just beautiful. You can see that the connection they have. I just made an awesome couple.

The True Meaning Of Love And Family -
Lorena had been crushing on her best friend’s dad for years and assumed her feelings would never be reciprocated. The last time Lukas saw Lorena, she was a gangly teenager, but the moment he laid eyes on her as an adult, his mind begun creating fantasy scenarios, that he wanted to become reality. They tried to keep their relationship platonic, but the pull towards each other was strong enough to break their willpower. Their path to a happily ever after wasn’t really smooth, but it was also filled with heartwarming moments.

I went through a myriad of emotions whilst I read this book, as it not only dealt with the older man, younger woman romance, but also tackled the important issue of family and friends showing love and understanding when someone they care for needs it most. I really enjoyed reading this story and will be happy to recommend it to anyone looking for a great read.

Coming home is about to bring her a future she never believed possible

So first I am going to say that the book title does not really go with the actually story details. The story is a blending of OTT, older man/younger woman, sweet, romantic and naughty with a couple wonderful characters, including the supporting characters. Lorena has moved back home from college after finding out her father was diagnosed with lung cancer. She is going to also transfer to the local college as she helps look after him. The one thing Lorena does have is her best friend Jamie, even if people had thought for years they were more than just friends. That includes Lukas, Jamie's father. So imagine Lukas' surprise when the big, buff, handsome and successful older man lays eyes on the beautiful, curvy and innocent younger woman.....not only is she Jamie's Lorena but he knows immediately he that they were meant to be together but also that he will do anything to make it real.

In this book we meet Lorena & Lukas. When this book opens we find that Lorena has transferred colleges to be closer to her parents after her father is diagnosed with lung cancer. When she comes home the first person she sees is Jamie her best friend since grade school. Everyone always believed they were once a couple but that couldn't be farther from the truth. Lukas knows there is something missing from his life but he doesn't know where to find her. When he goes to pick up his son and sees his best friend he knows he found her but how can he want his son's ex. Can these two find a HEA or are they doomed to misunderstanding always standing in there way?

Another amazing story by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

After Lorena learnt that her father was ill she moved back to her hometown to attend college there so that she can be close to her family. This also allows her to spend more time with her best friend Jamie, but she never expected that it would also bring Lukas, the man she always been attracted to and his father, into her life or that he would feel the same.

When Lukas sees Lorena, he can’t believe that the girl he knew has turned into the woman he sees now or the feelings he would have for her. He doesn’t want to hurt his son as he believes they dated in high school but there is no denying the feelings between them but what happens when all the secrets are revealed?

Lukas and Lorena were perfect for each other even if they had some turmoil and misunderstandings to overcome.

Ms Flora is very good with her books to keep your attention on her books as well as with this story. Lori and Lukas is an older man/younger woman story.
The attraction and chemistry between Lukas and Lori just explodes from the book. It's hard for them to admit it because at first she had some sort of relationship with Jamie's son and she had to break the news to him.

The story is full of steamy and hot scenes and also sadness at times, but otherwise it is a beautiful story and definitely worth reading.

She and Jamie have been best friends since they were kids and everyone assumed they were in a romantic relationship but they have only been friends nothing more. Lukas knows wanting his's ex is wrong and he would never want to hurt his son but his obsession with Lori is only getting stronger. And one night while she is working at one of his laundromats, Lukas finally stakes his claim. What will Jamie say when he learns of their secret relationship? Will Lukas lose his only son? If you enjoy forbidden romance you will love their story.

Amazing book. Lorena has always had a major crush on Lucas but knows nothing could happen between them. She couldn’t do that to Jamie. When Lucas sees her on her return home he is stunned by Lorena’s beauty. He wants to claim her as his but, his son would never approve. Once they voice their feelings to each other they know they have to tell their families. Will they be able to have a life together or is it the end before it begins. Oh and by the way, Jamie has some news of his own to tell. Join the road these families are traveling.

This interesting book 278 in A Man Who Knows What He Want Book Series has a wonderful Age Gap Romance with engaging Characters. These Characters have depth, unique personalities, and intriguing histories. This book has many twists, turns and surprises with a glimpse down the road with epilogs. He has always seen her as his sons friend and then girlfriend before she left for college, now he sees the woman she has become. She has come back to finish college from home to help her parents out and now they want to be together. His son is his only obstacle to their happiness and he seems to have a secret of his own. No spoilers to this must read, novella length, instant everything romance.

What a great love story

Really enjoyed this book. It was like getting two love stories for the price of one book. Lorena and Jamie were friends from childhood to adulthood. Kids at school and their families thought they were a couple. Jamie's father Lukas has been alone since his wife's death. He never dated or seemed interested in anyone until Lorena who is twenty years his junior. Can their love survive. Can Jamie and his partner's love survive. Will live go as they plan. We had a double reveal for our MC and I wasn't surprised. It is like they have their informations crossed, not deliberately mind you, but it was because of fear. Anyways, our male hero Lukas was a bit intense when he realized who Lori was in his life. So intense that he can't help himself, after all he knows what he wants, and he wants her.

Still, I loved the epilogues. I loved knowing the life they have even after.

This book was good and had me hooked from the beginning until the end and the storyline flowed throughout the book. You will definitely fall in love with the characters and get caught up in their emotions. Lukas is Jamie's dad who has been through alot but when Lorena moves back from college can he stay away from her? Lorena is Jamie's best friend but has it bad for his dad will feelings or relationships get destroyed over it?

I've read a lot of books written by Flora Ferrari; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of books her books.

This is part of the A Man Knows What He Wants Series. She has written another great story of an older man/younger woman romance; the story is well written. The story is about Lori & Lukas; she’s a college student; he’s her best friend Jaime’s dad; everyone thought they were together but they never were, they were just best friend’s.

Great story.

Loved reading Lukas & Lori's Forbidden love story. It was sweet, hot, caring with great characters. It was sweet how they were worried about how them being together was going to affect their relationship between Jamie him being Luka's son & her best friend but even though they loved each other so much they didn't want to hurt him. I was worried about them not getting their happy ever after but Jamie's twist changed all of that.

This is a Man Who Knows What He Wants book 276 love story for Lukas Landon and Lori. LOL I knew about Jamie and his secret from the start but I loved how everyone thinks Jamie and Lori are a couple. I loved how well these two make their relationship and find true love in each other. I loved how much Landon is a mushy bear for Lori too.

I enjoyed Lukas and Lorena's story, once I started reading I was hooked from beginning to end. I liked the characters and loved their chemistry, the storyline flowed well and was at times quite emotional. Lorena was with Jamie but not anymore, she fancies Lukas, his dad but never thought he might want her.

As with most of Flora's books, the chemistry is hot and attraction deepens to true love, Can Lorena have Lukas and still keep Jamie's friendship?
