An interesting, if obsequiously written biography of the Philadelphia sports mogul. The book's length could probably be reduced by 20 pages if the words "entrepreneurial", "dedicated", and "passion" were used half as much. Bass delves into a trove of deep cuts, backstories, and behind-the-scenes anecdotes that most readers — a self-selected audience comprised mostly of Philly sports fans, one must imagine — will find fascinating; I just wish it felt more like traditional biography and less like PR. 3/5
