This was the first story i’ve read by Golden Angel and i have to say it makes me want to read more. Because the people i met,the group of friends that are members of Stronghold,are really great!
I loved Angel and how she kept Adam off balance from the moment they met. Wanting to explore the BDSM lifestyle,she decides to go to a new club that’s far enough from home. And,as she has to do this alone,she goes dressed as a Domme. Adam and a few friends want to see the club that just opened and when he sees Angel,he’s the only one that has doubts about her being a Domme. When she comes to Stronghold as a sub,he’s angry at first,but when he gets to know her better......They were just so good together,i love them!

It starts with Mitch’s parents,you know the one from Bondage Buddies?
Gavin and Leah have a rocky past,one that still lingers in the present.
But Gavin has had a sort of epiphany,thanks to Logan and Felicity (you know….from Dad Bod Doms) and took steps towards a solution.
Starting with therapy,the kind Leah asked him years ago,before they divorced,he’d go to with her.
And it’s working,because he’s started to see he needs to open up more.
Share his feelings,and ask for the opinion of others before making decisions.
Taking the needs and wants of Leah into consideration,instead taking her for granted.
And he’s reached the point where he’s ready to convince her he’s changed his ways.
Leah is finally ready to leave the past behind and start dating.
No more scening with Gavin at his club Outlands.
Game night with their friends was different,they’d been playing Castles & Creatures for so long….
But just as she’s gotten ready for her first date,Gavin shows up!
And guess who she’s thinking about all evening?
Damn that man for screwing up her first date with Simon!!

I loved this first in a new series!
Getting the “older” generation’s experiences within the lifestyle is one i’ve been waiting for,and Golden Angel did a great job of telling Gavin and Leah’s story.

I would’ve loved exploring my needs,my desires for all they teach there!
Knowing this is only the first part,knowing Jessica is introduced to it all by men she knows....
.....and knowing they hide behind an alias and a mask as they have their wicked way with her....
I can’t wait to hear what Chris and Justin will have to do to make her see how much they love her.
How much they want her to be part of their menage a troi.
I enjoyed the introduction to this special school,a lot!
And i wíll be taking the follow-up classes,thank you!

After the Bridal Discipline series,i craved for more. More of Golden Angel’s Discipline. And i found i’d missed the first series,the Domestic Discipline series! Só stupid! But i’m going to make up for that now....
The first story introduces Eleanor,who is in search of a husband that’ll be easy to handle. One that would most certainly not punish her for doing exactly what she liked. One that would spoil her and lay at her feet. A man very unlike her father.
But the man she ends up with,is one her father chooses.....damn! A man she’s known since she was little. One that is most definitely not easy to handle. Her brother’s best friend,Edwin. A very handsome man. Now what is she to do? Playful and very enjoyable,i loved this first and look forward to what happens next!

Golden Angel,i love your stories! In this time ánd the ones written in Victorian time. I love them all! As for Cordelia,she’s such a sweet girl and in need of love after a her marriage to the coldhearted baron. Leaving her and her step-daughter Gabrielle behind in a dire situation with his death. Thank heavens for Philip,the Marquess of Dunbury,who sees something in her.....something he likes,very much! If only she didn’t care so very much about her step-daughter....one that doesn’t seem to return the sentiment. Will Philip manage to make Gabrielle se sense? And will he be able to give Cordelia what she so desires,a marriage filled with love and caring discipline?

Birching His Bride ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
BIRCHING HIS BRIDE is the first book in the DOMESTIC DISCIPLINE QUARTET and we are off to a fantastic start. In this story we have Lady Eleanor Petersham who is a bit of a handful and always getting into trouble her father normally disciplines her with taking a birch to her bum but he's decided it's time for her to be married and arranges a marriage between her and Lord Edwin Hyde, who is one of his son's best friends.
Lets just say Eleanor is not happy with this arrangement and does everything she can to make Edwin change his mind but when Edwin takes on the birching things start to get interesting.
This historical romance was one that I was able to lose myself in for a few hours and it was so much fun watching all the different antics Eleanor got up to. I cannot wait to see what Golden Angel has in store for this couple next.
I would recommend this book to those that enjoy STEAMY Historical Romances, Domestic Discipline Romances, or Siblings Best Friend Romances.

Oh how I loved this Second Chance Romance. Golden Angel gave us a couple over fifty to fall in love with and I couldn't be happier, I read a lot of romances and a lot of them tend to have younger couples ranging from mid twenties to late thirties so I am always thrilled when we are gifted with a couple over forty and when we get one that is even older it's like I've found the gold at the end of a rainbow.
Master Gavin and Leah are a couple that I've heard about before because I read their son Mitch's book, BONDAGE BUDDIES, a while ago and they popped up in another book I read more recently so it was nice to see how their story evolved over the different time periods.
Gavin and Leah had always loved one another that wasn't the issue when they were married but it also wasn't enough to keep them together. Here we are several years later When each of them decide they are going to make changes in their lives, for Leah that means she's finally going to start dating but for Gavin it means he's going to win back the love of his life.
This was a great second chance at love read that had TONS of spice and the sexy scenes...whew I don't think Hot is a strong enough word.
I would recommend this book to those that enjoy STEAMY Contemporary Romances, BDSM Romances, Second Chance at Love Romances, or More Mature Couples in their Romances.

Wow this is a great box set! I have already read all of these stories but I would have loved this box set when I first discovered the Sassy Submissive.
All the books have a bdsm storyline. I am vanilla myself but I love to read and reread these books because they are so much more. I love Golden Angel's writing style. There is so much humor in her books but also emotional depth in her characters and ofcourse plenty of hot and steamy sex scenes. Give it a try. Fair warning you may become addicted to her books like I am.

Great first read…
In Sassy Submissive Angel and Adam give us a sexy heartfelt introduction to the Stronghold club. I love that Angel is an independent woman who can take care of herself, but she also knows she needs something more in her life. Adam is carrying a load of emotional baggage, but also wants to have a relationship. The club and the lives of our characters are brought to vivid life and the story is long enough to fully satisfy.

Philip’s Rules - This is my first book by Golden Angel and I LOVED it! First book in series. Can be read as stand-alone. Full length told in dual POV with HEA. Has secondary characters from Domestic Discipline series. I have not read that series but definitely will because I enjoyed this one so much. This is longer than the books I normally like to read but I did not lose interest or get bored because I enjoyed the story and the pacing of it. What an awesome man Philip is. He was so patient with not only his new wife Cordelia, but also with his new ward Gabrielle. He really loved Cordelia and with his love and discipline allowed her to gain self-confidence. I am looking forward to reading more of this series!!!
The Venus School - Book one in the Venus Rising series ends on cliffhanger. I wasn't a fan of the multiple partners at the school, but I guess that's what the school's for. - I loved this story about Eleonore and Edwin. The way she thought she could outsmart him and then gets punished, delicious! I loved the way their feelings developed. Their story continues in the next instalment of this quartet. The epilogue introduces us to the characters of book 2, Irene and Hugh.
I’ve also read the Bridal Discipline series. Book #1 is Philips Rules.

I've read each of these books when they first came out but now the author has put the first books in different series that she has written in a box set. Each story is great and will get you started on that series. Don't pass this up. You get to see if you would enjoy the stories Ms. Angel has gifted her readers with. Just know that in each book, there are lots of hot and steamy scenes. Enjoy!!!

I’ve read most of these stories and this author is one of my favourites. If you haven’t read her writing, this set is a great starting point - try all her styles and see if she’s too your taste.
These stories are dual POV, well written and edited, and all but one (Venus School) has a different main couple who get at least a HFN as well as a well developed setting and often an overarching plot.

Golden Angel has given us a storyline that is relatable to those wanting to venture into BDSM and what they might find there. The characters she has given a home to are drool-worthy, with personalities that will make you literally want them for your own circle of friends. This is a book of discovery with characters that are continually growing into themselves add the excitement of BDSM and you have a perfect romance. What a wonderful beginning to what looks to be a terrific series.
2. DUNGEON MASTER - DUNGEONS AND DOMS 1
Of course, anyone who reads my reviews knows that Golden Angel is one of my one-click authors so it should come as no surprise when I review the first book, 'Dungeon Master', in her "Dungeons & Doms series. Ms. Angel has done it again by bringing a bit of the unexpected, the unacknowledged to life in a way that only she seems to do. Whereas most BDSM books have heroes and heroines who are in the age range of 20-30 years old, this book is different. Gavin and Leah are in their 50s. Their relationship has fallen apart and they've been divorced for a number of years but agreed to maintain their weekly dungeon play until something changes and Gavin is fighting for the second chance he refuses to give up on. The passion and chemistry are still there it's just not the lust-fueled found in a younger couple. This was a great story and I look forward to reading 'Dungeon Daddy' next.
3. THE VENUS SCHOOL - VENUS RISING QUARTET 1
Just to be clear, Golden Angel is one of my go-to one-click authors but I feel like I came to the party late on this one. I've read all the books from the "Stronghold Doms" series so when I was offered a copy of this book, I jumped at the chance to learn the stories that came out of the school. Imagine my happiness and excitement when it was Justin, Chris, and Jessica. They are my favorite triad in the series and to be able to read how that came about in detail, rather than just being alluded to, I was over the moon. This is enlightening, endorphin-inducing, romantic, and cringe-worthy. So many emotions come into play along with all the sexiness that a school of this nature can provide. I just love it!!
4. BIRCHING HIS BRIDE - DOMESTIC DISCIPLINE 1
Golden Angel is one of my go-to, one-click authors. I'm not sure how I missed this series up to this point, but certainly am thrilled now to have started it. Eleanor has seen how "love" manages to get in the way of couples. In her experience, it allows the wife to be taken advantage of and never have a life of her own and Eleanor has no intention of becoming one of "those" types of women. Set in the Victorian Age, this headstrong, opinionated woman and dominant man are just what was needed. The antics and consequences took me from shaking my head to smiling and then catching my breath. I can hardly wait to start the next book in this series.
5. PHILLIP'S RULE - BRIDAL DISCIPLINE 1
I'm always curious about one-star ratings. Are they because of the author's talent or lack of it, are they because it's a topic the reader is not interested in, or is it a combination of both? This one intrigued me. Philip's Rules absolutely has disciplinary spanking within the storyline. It also has a plot running through the storyline and characters you will love or love to hate. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Cordelia and Philip. I'm not sure about Gabrielle but being as I've lived through the teenage years on my own, I'm reserving judgment hoping there's more to the story. I would recommend this book and am proud to give it a 5-star rating.

This is an excellent starter box set for brilliant author Golden Angel.
The Sassy Submissive: I loved this book. a great introduction to Stronghold.
Angel and Adam are captivating characters. the story had me engrossed from the start.
Angel wants to fit in, to fit in she needs to learn what she wants. However her plans do not quite go as planned.
Adam wants a new submissive. when he meets a new Mistress his interest is peaked. but a mistress cannot be a submissive. so he tries to get her out of his mind.
This is a fun ride as Angel finds her true self and learns what it means to be herself.
Dungeon Master: I really enjoyed the start to this new series. Later in life, second chance, BDSM. What more could a girl as for.
Leah and Gavin have been divorced 10 years. Although they still scene together at the club, the relationship is fraught.
Gavin wants his wife back and will do anything to win her heart once again.
Can Leah trust he has changed, or will there past keep them apart. Old wounds are ripped open and new pressures add to the mix.
I love the character detail and plot development. I was engrossed from the first page.
I can't wait to read more from this world.

Mr Fire (Chris) and Mr Flood (Justin) have a secret though. They know Jessica and are hiding their identities, hoping to get her out of their system.
All does not go to plan though and their feelings only grow.
Great characters with a detailed plot captured my attention and I cant wait for the next book.
Birching His Bride: Eleanor is determined to have a husband she can bend to her whim. Her mother has spoiled her and she knows no better. Her father though knows better and arranges her marriage to Edwin.
Edwin knew Eleanor as a child, he agrees to the marriage and taking her in hand. Literally.
As the season progress so does the discipline.
Philip's Rules: Cordelia is now a widow and stepmother to a daughter not much younger than her. Her marriage was not good and now she has nothing.
Phillip never planned to marry but he has heard how wives like discipline. that peaks his interest.
Cordelia he sees as a balance of innocence and experience - now that would be an interesting challenge.
Cordelia now only wants to marry for love, can Philip give that to her.
Her stepdaughter keeps causing problems and growing her insecurities.
A rollercoaster of a ride with great detail and interesting characters.
I highly recommend these books and author.

This sampler has a little bit from a number of series Golden Angel writes. Something for everyone!
The Sassy Submissive, The Venus School and Dungeon Master all belong in the same universe, but can be read as standalone novels. These are contemporary BDSM romances.
With The Sassy Submissive, it's a great introduction into the BDSM club called the Stronghold and the characters for the rest of the series. MF pairing with a dominant MMC and a sassy FMC. You'll see characters from The Venus School making an appearance in this book. FMC is not a virgin, there's a miscommunication at the beginning and building on that trust before the two fall in love.
With the Venus School, events happen before The Sassy Submissive, but it's much, much more steamier than the Sassy Submissive! The FMC goes to a school to explore her sexual fantasies and while doesn't end in a HEA, the series does. It's MFM, with multiple partners outside the MFM and I would consider it more Erotic Romance, although the next books in the series keeps it within the MFM trouple.
The Dungeon Master is a second chance romance set in a different city from the Stronghold / Venus School characters. It features an older MMC/FMC in their 40-50s, for those looking for something refreshing than the fresh-faced 20-something virgins living happily ever after. My biggest complaint about second chance romance, is that there's not enough groveling! This one shows the MMC putting in the work and patience to show the FMC how he's improved and how committed he is to wooing her back.
Birching His Bride and Philip's Rules are both Historical Romances with a BDSM twist. They are both the first books of their respective series. I personally prefer the Birching His Bride novel, as Lady Eleanor is just hilarious!

This box set is the first-in-series for five (5) of Golden Angel’s series.
I will not review all the individual stories here, just the overall box-set.
All of these stories are solidly four (4) & five (5) star entries for me.
The characters are diverse, the storylines are interesting & believable, the differences between characters & series means they never feel stale.
Some of the series tie into each other, which is fun.
The singular reason this box-set only gets four (4) stars from me?
The books are not in an order that makes sense. Because of the intertwining nature of some stories, when they are read out of order you end up feeling a bit like you’re an outsider. It’s like trying to understand who knows whom, from where, & why you’re being told about them.
I think it would be much easier to enjoy these books if they were in a more understandable order.
In saying that, I’ll absolutely recommend these books to anyone who likes a little… Heat… when they’re snuggled up.
I will absolutely be reading these again… in their proper order, & with the rest of their series!

If you're unfamiliar with Golden Angel's work this is a great way to get familiar with her writing. All the books included in the set are the first book of awesome series. Make sure to read The Venus School before reading The Sassy Submissive (the Venous series leads to the Stronghold series).
I guarantee that after reading these books you will love her writing like I do and go straight to reading the following books in the series. Trust me, I know what I'm talking about as I own every one of her books.

I've read The Sassy Submissive and Dungeon Master from this set and loved both of them. The characters are fun in both books. There is plenty of humor and I loved all the nerdy things in both stories. There is plenty of character development as well as sexy times. Dungeon Master has an older couple that is going through their own issues that are relatable. The supporting characters bring plenty to the table as well. I plan on reading the other stories in book, but these two books are so much fun.

A Serious introduction to Golden Angel
This a fabulous intro to Golden Angels book, she is a seriously good storyteller. This compilation of books is a great way to introduce yourself to her if you’ve not previously had the pleasure of losing yourself in her books. She writes across historical and modern BDSM and really captures your imagination. You owe yourself this book. Highly recommend.

Love this collection of 5 books from Golden Angel. Perfect way to jump in to 5 distinctly different series, and see which one you want to start with first!
Each story is easily read as a stand alone, but you will definitely want to continue each series! Every one is filled with beloved characters you won't be able to say goodbye to! Treat yourself to this collection, then curl up and enjoy!

Well if you are looking to get a taste of what Golden Angel writes about, I cannot suggest a better way. This sampler collection really showcases some great series written by Golden Angel. What better way to get started in several series than through a collection like this.

I got this sampler because there were some Golden Angel series that I hadn't started yet and wanted to see what they were like. Well that sent me down a rabbit hole! I am now collecting all the books of all these series, so beware. It is a great option to start off on some new series, but you might be signing on for way more books because you get dragged into these worlds so easily. And if you're planning on growing your collection, reading this is probably a good start.

I absolutely love Golden Angel and all that she writes! I read a couple of these already before I purchased this sampler but couldn’t resist for the ones I hadn’t! (Venus and Dungeon) And no surprise loved them both so much! Golden always nails the perfect combination of spice, life, and humor (IMHO)!

A fantastic opportunity to sample the first books of five different series by Golden Angel. Enough to tempt and give you an idea of which series to read next, I immediately bought the Dungeons and Doms Boxset next. Each book is excellent in its own right and this sampler is an ideal way to explore different Romance tropes to see what you enjoy. I highly recommend this sampler set.
