Before she was Turned, Elizabeth Winters never thought that werewolves could exist outside of myths and legends. Now, as an Alpha, she leads a pack alongside her mate, Nicholas, with a form and powers that no wolf, much less a Turned wolf, should have. Even though her mere existence has turned the werewolf world upside down, Elizabeth wants nothing more than to heal and live a quiet life with her new family. However, she cannot rest just yet. The Goddess calls, and the ancient blood racing through Elizabeth’s veins must answer.

In this second installment of the Pureblood Trilogy, join Elizabeth and Nicholas as they set out on a perilous journey across the world in search of a hidden past. Ever since the Firsts roamed the earth, nefarious forces have kept her bloodline a secret and will continue to do so…by any means necessary. Elizabeth and Nicholas must decide if the truth is worth risking not only their lives but the lives of the ones they love as well.

Wow! This book delivered an action-packed sequel to the first book, Pureblood.

First off this book is much longer than the first, which is a huge plus. Often we get short books for a long book price tag, and that is just disheartening.

Okay on to the meat and potatoes. Was there romance? Of course! Can there possibly be werewolves and not romance? Never! Was the plot solely focused on romance? NOPE! While it was there it was not the main driving force behind the storyline, yay!

As this world is grown and is revealed in both books, so far, it becomes more engaging and enjoyable. Often I find that writers get lost in trying to keep the pace moving briskly, that they forget to develop the world around the characters. Not the case here. This Author beautifully pulls from landmarks in our world to make this world seem more relatable. Kudos.

Am I awaiting the next book? Absolutely. I just have to know what happens next! Please don't make us wait as long for the next book!
