Cliffhanger

Dark and Intense
This is another exceptional addition to the Wings of Diablo MC series that made it a one sit read for me. Shyne and Xia’s first meeting was anything but pleasant as she was in the club’s casino trying to find what would put her tormentor in her sights for revenge. The only thing that brought them together was being trapped in a hurricane as it bore down on the city.
The twists and turns in this book kept my head spinning and the steam had me fanning myself. This book did touch on darkness many can’t come back from but it made Xia a strong woman who was lucky enough to find a man who wanted to help her. The enemies of the club increased tenfold during this book and made it a huge page turner that I can’t wait to see what happens next as everything within the Wings of Diablo MC has seemed to exploded.

This is the 5th book in this series MC series but it can be read as a standalone. Xia has been through a lot and is on the hunt for answers she thinks Shyne and his MC have something to do with but learns the truth when mother nature intervenes. Will she discover the truth? Fast-paced read with lots of drama, emotion and steam. Great characters lots of depth and plenty of action. I liked it.

Shyne: A Wings Of Diablo MC Novel: New Orleans Chapter (Book 5) by Rae B. Lake is another outstanding addition to this amazing series that is full of chaos, action, deceit, tragedy and passion which will have you on edge while you read this story. Once again the WOD is dealing with the effects from Rene, the Purge and now a new enemy surfaces targeting the Benefactor’s Program run by Shyne that is using this program for their own debauchery targeting women and young children. Love the bond and joviality between Joker and the rest of the club and their ol'ladies during the mayhem that continues to surround this club.
The interaction between Shyne and mouthy, feisty Xia is hot and explosive when she is caught breaking into Shyne's office at the casino looking for information on Mr. Barnes, the man who not only abused her but caused her best friend to kill herself as they were both participants of the sponsorship program. Now these two will butt heads bantering back and forth until Shyne makes her see reason that he nor his club is responsible and he vows to do all he can to help her as well as clear his club if they survive the hurricane that has trapped both of them. Fears are put aside as both Shyne and Xia explore the passion that develops between them, the interaction between them is raw, hard and sultry. Just when you think you are done with Rene, Rooster, the Purged and all the other a-holes out there, someone always has to come in and rock the boat. This is the story of Shyne and Xia. Xia was part of the Benefactor’s Program. Only seems someone is using that as their own playground for the unspeakable, I have to say that I was ready to kill some people while I was reading this and remind myself it is just a story, but I also had to remind myself that crap like this happens all the time. Xia is out to find out who pushed her friend to kill herself and believes the Wings of Diablo are behind this. Xia breaks in to the WOD Casino to look for the real identity of Mr. Barnes, only to be stopped by Shyne and his guys. However, a hurricane traps Shyne and Xia in an elevator and Shyne hears the whole story – only then doe Xia realize he had nothing to do with it.
Action, passion, chemistry, betrayal, deception, tragedy and the will to fight for what you believe in will keep you glued to your seat while you read this story. Be prepared for your emotions to get the best of you. Xia has gone through some hell and this has made her a much stronger woman, and someone Shyne could use in his life.
I look forward to reading the next book in this series and can’t wait to see how things play out. We are left on a cliffhanger, and this cliffhanger has my emotions getting the better of me as I hate that the fight only seems to be getting bigger. This is the continuation of the Wings of Diablo MC. The characters are so lovable and murderable(if your their woman). They find themselves in trouble again,only this time it was happening right under their noses.
Xia is out for revenge for the death of her friend, which was caused indirectly by people who the club supports. She tries to break in during a hurricane and is caught, but is soon at it again. She runs into Shyne and this is where both their worlds are turned upside down.
Shyne is having a really bad day, not only did one of their people who they support ask for an underaged girl, but he runs into Xia, who is also connected to both the club and the bad guy. He saves her from the hurricane, and is knocked on his butt by the attraction he feels for her and her for him.
Together with the rest of the Wings and a new club the Purged, they try to close down the blackmail, trafficking ring in their town, it doesn’t go according to plan but when has any plan went according to the way they want them to.

Xia is quite a catch for Shyne and they quickly develop a repor with each other to always be honest.Which I love.. I hate it when characters beat around the bush to long trying to guess what the other person wants so this part is very refreshing.
Joker is just so funny the things that come out of his mouth even when things are tense and crap is happening throughout the club just one quick smart alack remark from him has everyone cracking up.
Damn how does the club feel about learning something so vital from an enemy.Something they never even thought to question the torment they must be feeling is no where near the extent of how their brother feels.
It seems that the club has more drama than they can handle and even though they thought the problem Xia had was something so simple has become catastrophic for some of the club members I just hope everyone comes out clean cos crap is about to get dirty.

Shyne is at the club's casino closing down everything before the hurricane and sees the office door open. He knows he did not leave it open, there is a woman going thru the files. The guys escort her out, he cleaning up the mess she made. She comes back in the building, he escorts her to the elevator. Before it gets to the ground the power goes out and they can hear the roar of the hurricane.
They are trapped and will need to wait for the Wings to get them out. During this time he hears her story and convinces her that his MC was not involved in the extortion.
The more time the two spend together to unravel who is behind this, the closer they get. This is an action packed story, things consistently go bad for the NOLA chapter, and this installment is not different. Will Shyne and Xia take it further that one time?.

This book continues on the journey of the Wings down in New Orleans and their world is imploding all around them! They are fighting against an enemy that may be to powerful for them to overcome. Their world has always been chaotic but this new danger is one that could destroy them.
Shyne meets Xia when she breaks into their casino. He has no idea why she is there or what she is looking for. When he learns the truth he is beyond enraged and he seeks out his brothers/family in the MC to try and make it right. He had no idea what was waiting for them when they begin hunting down the people responsible. They now have 1 brother in jail and a new enemy who seems to have to much power and they can’t seem to find a way out. The danger they now all face is too much and I’m not sure how they are going to make it out without losing people they love. The saga continues in Book 6. Buckle up it’s going to be a bumpy ride. Happy Reading!!

This is an amazing story. There is so much action, twists/turns, danger, violence, death, evil, deceit, tragedy, passion and love. Shyne meets Xia and boy do they spark off of each other. Xia needs help because of a tape that circulated about her being abused and raped. Shyne and his bothers, Wings of Diablo, decide to help her get rid of the scum that praying on young girls and women and blackmailing them. They go after Mr. Barnes and Archer, their Prez. gets shot, and Lex ends up going to prison. They find out that Mr. Barnes is with the FBI and they can't touch him yet. Meanwhile Shyne and Xia become a couple and their attraction is out of this world. My heart is still beating fast. Highly recommend this story and the series. I can't wait to read about Lex.

This is the fifth in this incredible series and is Shyne and Xia’s story. Xia is out for revenges against the men responsible for her best friend’s death, and as she need information of the men she breaks into a casino. Shyne and Xia end up trapped together in an elevator during a hurricane. The chemistry between these two is off the charts. This is a well written story which has suspense, danger, intrigue, tension, revenge, twists, emotions, action, and is a steamy addictive page turner. This story does end in a cliffhanger. look forward to reading more from this talented author, whose work I highly recommend.

Another thrill filled addition to this series, the WoD have enemies crawling out of everywhere to get to them.
Strong characters, this installment finally gets a hea for Shyne who had been through so much in the series with Tink etc.
Xia was a strong character in her own right with a startling lack of care for her win safety!!
I like how all the characters continue to play main parts in each other’s books in this series and don’t just get a mention here and there
Interesting and unexpected end, looking forward to the next book.

This book starts with the suicide of Xia’s friend Nora. Shyne has returned from being a nomad and has started a sponsor program for the club. A hurricane hits the casino and traps Shyne and Xia together over night. Xia’s revenge plot is exposed and Shyne agrees to help her. Things quickly escalate between Xia and Shyne as well as with the club. Connections are exposed and the club ends up in trouble, it ends on a bit of a cliffhanger. Xia is a strong fiesty girl not easily pushed aside and Shyne is a decent guy trying to help her out. Can’t wait for the next in series!.

This is a powerful story. Shyness gets stuck I. An elevator during a hurricane when he catches xia going through files at the business and is escorting g her out. While stuck they dis use why she was there and he convinced her that the wings had nothing to so with what she was looming into. What happens next will keep you on the edge of your seat as events happen. Thi gs get twisted around and you do not know what is right in front of your nose. Great addition. To the series. It does sissappoint as it leaves you in a cliffhanger wanting more.

Shyne and Xia's story is a hot sexy read and the 5th book from Wings Of Diablo New Orleans Chapter MC series. It can be read as a standalone with the romance focused on Shyne and Xia' story as they fall in love, but add in the trafficking of young girls and a corrupt FBI agent and their story packs a punch for readers. Their story is filled with all the romance, drama and suspense readers expect in a story from Rae B. Lake.

Rae has out fine herself with Shyne's story. From beginning to end I couldn't put this book down or turn the pages fast enough. I love Shyne and Xia together. These two are a perfect for one another and I loved their banter even when they fought. Joker and his humor cracked me up. When are these guys gonna catch a break??? The second epilogue as I call it or sneak peak holy smokes I pray that the unthinkable doesn't happen because I don't think I could handle that happening to him. I love these men and women and I can't wait to see what happens next even though it scares the crap out of me.

Xia is out for revenge on the men who caused a life of torment for her and caused her friend to kill herself. Her plan has her crossing paths with Shyne and the WOD. Her intentions to protect herself put her at odds with him when he just wants more with her. I love him just telling her how it is and what her choices have created. So many bad things happen. The last couple chapters are just heartbreakingly sad, especially the final epilogue.

Where to begin with Shyne and Xia story. She is trying to get revenge for something horrible and decides to break into where he is working. They get caught in a terrifying situation and have to depend on each other to survive. Can they get past their issues to find a future? This author and series never disappoints. You get to meet these amazing characters and also get to see some of your favorites. I could not put this book down. I will say the ending left me dying for more. I can’t wait for the next story. Absolutely perfect.

This is Shyne and Xia's story. Their chemistry is totally off the charts. They meet when she needs help stemming from a tape showing her being abused and raped. Shyne and his bothers, Wings of Diablo, decide to help her and in the process rid of the scum that are praying on young girls, women and then blackmailing them. They discover that the one they are after is with the FBI and they can't touch him yet. Highly recommend this story and the series. I can't wait to read about Lex.

Shyne and Xia, are right for each other
Shyne ends up with Xia in a hurricane. It’s odd but it happens. I love that he acted to her that he could move on but then he really couldn’t and it forced her to be true. He is perfect for her and can deal with her fight. I am glad someone is finally calling for Wre. These guys need his help. Archer needs him and the cruelty that they can bring to find their brother Clay. The suspense is killing me. This author is killing me. Another must read from her

Good
I enjoyed the book. The dynamics between the 2 main characters Shyne and Xia is interesting. She certainly knows her own mind.
I did think Shyne spoke to her a bit nasty at the clubhouse and she was too quick to blame herself.
Worked out ok though.
Joker/Noah just makes me laugh so much.
A new “evil” character is now in play.
Felt sorry for Xia when she found out about what her friend Nora did.
Sadly the book is let down by errors and spacing or lack off which makes some sentences make no sense at all.

So much going on, how two people can be hot for each other so soon baffles me, especially Xia being combative causing she's looking for info in their casino concerning her friend, then a hurrican changes all that. Some of the club members are hurt pretty bad because of Mr. Barnes. Errors in the book too. Hard to get into this story. Shyne has a run-in with someone new during nature's fury and the club is thrown into chaos once again. The storyline was good, creating something new, yet keeping hold of the overall arc of the series. The characters are strong and willful, but fit together. Shyne's book fit right in with WOD New Orleans!.

This is a book typical of this author, well thought out and well written. I love how these series have been interlaced. And Shyne was no different. I was concerned during the opening scenes because that is a very triggering subject. But she handled it brilliantly. While I expected to feel something other than respect, I didn’t. I don’t have many triggers, but this could’ve been one of my few. No regrets. This author and this series just continues to get better. I can’t wait for more.

Shyne oh Shyne always trying to help. So much going on in this book. It's great to see them continuing on and trying to find Rene and to hear that Clay is still alive!!! Joker is hilarious. He provided relief when needed. I want to hear his story. I can't wait to see where the next books go first with Lex and then with Clay. And hopefully all the clubs will get together and fight Barnes and finally eliminate Rene!

Book #5 in the WOD NO chapter MC series is Shyne’s story and it’s a very entertaining one. I really enjoyed his and Xia’s adventure. There’s plenty of action in this short, fast paced romance. I LOVE the Wings Of Diablo!
There is ALWAYS trouble and chaos following these guys and Shyne is definitely no different. I love the chemistry between Shyne and Xia, she's exactly what these guys WOD need, Shyne particularly. She's determined, strong and refuses to bow down. I know I say it with every book but it doesn't make it any less true with Shyne, Ms. Lake has outdone herself AGAIN!

Insta-lust turns insta-love in this New Orleans Chapter of the Wings of Diablo. Shyne and Xia have a tumultuous and super-hot connection. Their story has some surprising outcomes and shocking truths that can't be ignored. I look forward to reading more about these two and this club to see how these outcomes and truths play out.
