The story spun on Gracie when she interned as Isaac's assistant. Gracie was 18 to Isaac 54 and she was aspiring to be at his position one day. One late night of heated arguments and when tiredness stroke, both slipped and unleashed months of pent up desire.
The story was too short for my liking. It was straightforward and a bit flat. It wasn't like both were into OTT instalove kinda romance. It was more likely to be one night of passion turned to forever. A few things that didn't sit well for me was because it was kinda good to be true. I mean the h was involved with her boss, the CEO. Not much jealousy from coworkers? Really? Or maybe a rumour on how she might use her new status as the boss gf? Second of all, there's no use of secondary characters (no BFF, no friends, family etc showing up along the story) and not much tell on MC's background story or life outside their romance bubble. Just saying though.
Dual PoV, 1st person No virgin No condoms No drama/angst Safe read, HEA, epilogue Overall score: 2.5 office romance stars

Was just a little too quick for me, even for a short story I didn’t really get anything. One minute they were arguing and then bam they were crazy about each other. I liked the characters, would just have like a little more too and about them!
Gah! I have an exceptional LOVE for character-driven romances. I know many people are all about plot, drama, angst, all the above but there’s just something sexy af and addictive about reading a short, smutty read that ends in an HEA.
Isaac and Gracie hit all the marks. Isaac is mid-50s, grumpy, and stoic. Gracie is 30-something odd years younger than him and his intern. She’s compassionate, honest, and outspoken and despite his attitude, Isaac finds himself drawn to the beautiful, curvy young woman.
HOT AF, y’all. You know this author can write some sexy scenes and she doesn’t disappoint. The little bit of praise kink tossed in there was 🤌🏻.
I love how sweet Isaac was under his gruff exterior and how bubbly Gracie was. Their chemistry was quick and passionate but I left this world with a huge smile on my face. This was EXACTLY what I love about character-driven novellas. Give me the smut and love and call it an afternoon!
Isaac is the CEO of the biggest law firm in Las Vegas. He’s established, and has a bunch of attorneys working for him. Gracie, his intern, wants to make a good impression on him by giving 150% towards any tasks he gives her, if even just fixing his morning coffee. What happens when one day he’s being a total jerk and she calls him out on it?

The premise moves rather quickly, but it is a complete story. What I loved about this novella is Gracie - she’s young, intelligent and has her head on straight. Isaac trusts her with tasks in the office that he doesn’t trust anyone else to do. She makes the story.
The spice and storyline are good. The pacing is perfect for novella standards. I liked both Isaac and Gracie and they were believable in their relationship with each other. He’s strong and demanding, and she’s not going to take his crap.
My only gripe - I would totally read a full length book with these two. In 61 pages, they made enough of an impression on me to want more of this dynamic. I was a little sad it ended so soon.
If you’re looking for a quick read, try this one. The story is engrossing enough to keep you interested and it never strays from the topic at hand.
This book made me feel: funny, happy, sad, sexy :x, tingly
I was so excited for the first pen-name book short and smutty romance! And guess what? I wasn#t disappointed (Except for the ending.. because well it's the ending ): ) But they are getting fucking married! AHHHH! I love it!
Isaac is the hot grumpy asshole (of a boss obviously) and god send me help but I fell in love with him the first sentence he spoke.
Gracie is the cute intern. I'm in love with her too because her personality? 10/10 ! Her bratty and honest mouth ? Ohhh love it. Gimme more of that.
I'm so sad it's done now. ): ------------------------------ Spicy: 5/5 Cute:5/5 Length:4/5 Storyline:5/5 Names:4/5 All in All:4,6/5

Even though it was short, I actually really liked the plot. With spicy novellas, you expect it to just be little plot and all spice but this was equally balanced. I enjoyed it! I absolutely love the author’s writing, it was well done and I’m looking forward to reading more of her.
There’s quite an age gap between the two main characters. I believe he’s 54 and she’s 18? And as you can tell by the title, she’s his intern. There’s so much tension between the two and goddamn it was hot 🥵
The scene where he has her up against the window??? WHAT?! Are you kidding me?! I had to take a break and breathe 😩 that was SO GOOD
While it was hot and I liked the characters, there just wasn't enough to this story for me to truly like it. I realize it's a short story and that there wasn't meant to be a lot to it besides some smexy times and a HEA. However, it just wasn't enough to keep me truly invested in the story, especially since the ending was a bit more blah than I'd hoped for. I hate that this review feels so negative because I truly didn't think it was a terrible story. It just didn't check all of my boxes when it comes to what I like in my romances.
Very quick read. Took an hour tops. Now the sex was hot but the writing was sloppy. It says Inter racial coupling but there was no mention of his skin colour so it wasn't clear. Also the age gap if he's 54 it says she's 36 years younger. She acts very mature for 18 and it's never addressed quite how young she is. Also it starts off she's indifferent and then suddenly 3 chapters later she's all he's the hottest guy I've ever seen. It was a good read but it had continuity errors.
Between 4 and 5 stars but since it's a first book I enjoyed in a long time 5 stars it is. I think that this was the biggest age gap I've ever read - he's 54 and she's 18. She wasn't a virgin, which I really appreciated. They were both likable and I loved their relationship. When I see their ages next to each other, it seems a little too much, but I never felt uncomfortable or grossed out. They were good together.
It's an quick office romance novella(between boss & intern). I did enjoy the story of Gracie & Isaac I just wish it was little bit longer so I could get little bit more of them 💕 Overall I would recommend if you are between books and looking for something quick to read.I also loved that it was interracial couple 🥰
When I heard about this book I was so excited!! FoxRose is such a talented author and I love it! Her word and character building is on point. I know for a fact that I will definitely read more books by her! Totally recommend!!
I know that the style of books this author writes is meant to be short, hot & extremely taboo but this book lacked all of it. I definitely wouldn’t call it taboo and the s€x scenes weren’t even that hot.
This story was short and to the point. I enjoyed the read and although it wasn’t long it gave me all the feels. I loved reading it and I definitely recommend it. It’s a great story to read on lunch to give you a fix for a good story.
This was a good, quick read. I’ve been enjoying the forbidden age gap trope so much! These two are perfect for each other, and who hasn’t dreamed of having a hot office romance?! I loved it!
