Justin is drowning in responsibility. Everyone depends on him, from his family to his employees. The pressure overwhelms Justin, and he has nobody to lean on. His parents died, and his wife only cares about shopping. She certainly doesn’t care about how Justin feels, which she shows by cheating on him.
Carol is an independent woman. Intelligent. Determined. She works as a physician’s assistant. She doesn’t need for a man, nor has she been searching for one since her last breakup.
When Justin’s life falls apart, Carol is close enough to the situation to feel his pain. She reaches out to Justin to offer her support while he’s dealing with marital drama. She doesn’t expect to catch feelings for the man.
Carol struggles to process her budding desire, and Justin becomes even more irresistible when he shows his obedient tendencies. Justin doesn’t expect to find a woman who can take control. A woman who can make him forget his mountain of responsibility.
Carol and Justin have a complicated relationship, but they’re willing to risk it all to give love a chance.
This is the first book of the Carol & Justin series. Each story can be read as a standalone, but their relationship will progress with each book and act as an anchor for the series. Enjoy!
The overall concept was great. It starts out with some nice character development at the start, weaving the overall plot line throughout to book. It even spends a little time on the side characters which was nice. However, I was disappointed by the way that the main characters just tell the reader how they feel instead of showing it. Also both main characters are initially presented as being on a journey of discovery, neither having ever been in a female dominant relationship before. And yet, at each new step, they just state that they want to do it and then do it, without any internal dialogue, expressions of uncertainty, or any back and forth. Because if this I found that there was very little tension in what should have been a very dramatic and powerful transformation for both main characters. I won't be continuing the series.
Justin is such a devoted and hard working family man. His wife and two children are his world. Until he discovers his wife’s infidelity. Enter Carol. She recreates his world with her love and feminine guidance. Strict guidance. If you like femdom this is a must read. Beautiful reality. Terrific characters and their development through the pages. Sensational descriptive prose to heighten the erotic scenes. Five white hot, pumping, pulsing, shooting stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
If you took the first few chapters away and put into a couple of pages it would really. I really liked this story but you have to wait until they meet before it starts to get interesting. Once they do it gets real interesting and fun to read. I recommend it.
I wish there was more about Carol and Justin. The author has a fun story to tell but I wish there was less side drama. I gave the book 4 stars because I liked the writing style and I would like to read the continuation of their story in Book 2.
Nice short story recommended to me by Goodreads based on other books I read. I immediately started the 2nd book. I'm starting to like following these recommendations as I'm reading stuff I might not have read otherwise.
