Here's what some Amazon reviewers are
"Can't wait for the next book."
"As always I enjoyed my foray into Eric Wilder's Louisiana world. Some genuine spooky moments and the usual ridiculously horny folks."
"Couldn’t put it down."
"Characters were interesting and so was the location."
As always I enjoyed my foray into Eric Wilder's Louisiana world. Some genuine spooky moments and the usual ridiculously horny folks what with women dropping their clothes every time they turn around, who could blame a guy. It was good to see the good Dr and his wife again. It would be great to explore the Majestic and its ghosts further. I liked Christopher and his vampiric love, hope they make an appearance at a later date, if they can get a day pass outa Heaven. Always fun with rougarous lurking about. Looking forward to the next installment.
I found out about this series after I finished the new French Quarter book. It was a slow start and I almost gave up on it. Then it got really good and and I read all night, I finished it the next night.
It is almost as good if not equal to the French Quarter series. So my suggestion is don’t give up on it to soon, because once it getting going, you’ll keep saying one more chapter until you realize it’s 6am and you’d better get a few hours of sleep.
This was free to read through kindle unlimited and it’s not my typical type of book but I’m always looking for new authors to read! There was mystery, action and intriguing characters. I will definitely read more by this author! ☺️
wtf? this book was something else. The oversexualization of women, the lack luster personalities of characters and their obsession with the rum this book needed at least 3 editors before being published.
A light-hearted romp with an Indian chief, a Cajun, a witch or two, a lot of amazing rum, some ghouls and a shift in the plot about every 5 or 6 pages.
I love Eric Wilder's French Quarter series, so I wanted to take a chance on this book. I enjoyed the development of the chat and the story. I can't wait for the next book.
