This is the second book in this series and is Tony and Jenna’s story. Tony is a sexy football player, and Jenna is a nurse, and he is her brother’s best friend. These two have loved each other since they were teenagers, but a misunderstanding tore them apart. When they are having an argument, the paparazzi overhears and reports on, leaving Jenna agreeing to a fake engagement. This is a well written story which is sweet, and with emotions, and love, which leads to a steamy and entertaining addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Once again Alexia has written another fantastic story of love with a hint of hate mixed in it. But all goes well in the end. Or does it.
Tony or Anthony was Jenna's first crush. She has been in love with him since high school. But something went wrong after she had given him her virginity. Jenna left her home town and moved as far away as she could, but now she is home and Tony is back home again too. How can she forgive him for what he did to her back when she left for college?
Tony has been in love with Jenna since he was seventeen, although she is his best friend's sister, he has loved her from afar. They both lost their virginity to each other one fateful night and then suddenly Jenna left town and now hates him. What did he do to cause her to hate him? Now she is back in town, will they get another chance to fall in love again or will their past get in their way.
You will have to read this book to find out all aspects of their story. You will laugh and cry with the characters and find a soft spot for them and their personal battles. I absolutely loved reading this book. There is the normal spicy read as well as the wonderful feeling when they find their happily ever after.

OMG! I absolutely love this series! Book two deals with Jenna and Tony’s story. As the stories interweave, the characters were introduced in book one, Chloe and Rich’s story. Jenna and Tony have been in love with each other since their teens. On the eve of his graduation, Jenna became Tony’s ‘first’ and vice versa, then a misunderstanding saw them not speaking to each other civilly for years. Tony continued with his football and turned pro, Jenna studied nursing. Under strict instructions to behave at Chloe and Rich’s wedding, all is going well until Jenna has too much to drink and she makes some accusations against Tony that are videoed and hit the web within hours. Tony is in the middle of his contract negotiations and his agent suggests that they pretend to be engaged. Ironically, the both wish it was real, not fake. The steam in the bedroom sizzles between them and their relationship deepens.....but they really do need to talk to each other. Another well written and engaging book by Alexia with more brilliant characters to cheer for.

The Contract is another fantastic book by Alexia Chase. She has woven a story filled with everything a reader comes to expect from her - drama, tension, emotion, romance, heat and so much more. Tony and Jenna are meant to be together but they just can't seem to manage it. They have loved each other since they were teenagers and even lost their virginity with each other on one very memorable night. But things did not go quite so smoothly for these star-crossed lovers. It is now several years later with Tony now a big professional football player and Jenna a nurse. They are once again thrown together for Jenna's brother's wedding which puts pressure on them both. Due to circumstances a private argument is caught on tape and hits the paparazzi and eve more miscommunication ensues. But one fake engagement later and they are going to be forced to finally really communicate with each other. Will they finally realize that they are meant to be together, after all they still love each other? Or will they walk away?

This is wonderful second chance for love story. Tony & Jenna had one eventful night in the past that led to a big misunderstanding currently between the two. I was so hoping that Jenna was going to blurt out her issue when she was drunk at her brother's wedding reception but she blurted out some nonsense that led to a fake engagement between her and Tony. Tony's football contract renewal was on the line and Jenna was gracious enough to set aside her hurt and pain to help Tony. This fake engagement brought these two wonderful characters together at last and they were able to clear up the misunderstanding at the end. Ms. Chase's endings are so sweet and romantic. I just love reading her books because they leave me hopeful for my HEA.

Meet Jenna and Tony, this is a longer length book that contains both characters points of view which is different from this author. I have read a lot of her shorter stories (female POV) and their flips (male POV) so combo is a fun change. Jenna has always secretly crushed on her brother's best friend. About six years ago, she gave him her virginity in the front seat of his truck. They went their separate ways as Tony was an a$$ about the whole thing. Now fate has drawn these two back together, is this a second chance or is it to late to mend the past? It's a fake engagement meant to smooth over a heated argument overhears by the paparazzi that follow Tony around but what if faking it stirs up more real feelings along the way? Enjoy this great story!

Fast forward to the beginning of the book. Tony is now a pro football player and Jenna is the new nurse in town. When they do finally run into each other, an argument ensues. The argument is caught on video and it doesn't make either particularly look good, but especially Tony as he is in a contract year. They decide to come up with a "Contract", but it is more a fake engagement. As with all good romances, this fake engagement has real feelings behind it. This was a great read and I truly enjoyed the characters.

This is now my favourite by Alexia Chase! Jenna the sister of Rich has moved back to town. She has not seen her first love, Tony since he left town 6 years ago right after they lost their virginity together. Tony is a Pro Football player and a heated conversation between him and Jenna has gone viral making them both look bad. I loved The Contract by Alexia Chase. Jenna has been in love with Tony, her brother's best friend, since she was 14. The night of his high school graduation, they gave other their virginity. A misunderstanding had her leaving town. Jenna became a nurse and Tony became a pro football player. Tony has loved Jenna since she was 17 and has never gotten over her. Now they have both moved back home. When they meet again at her brother's wedding, instead of talking about their issues, they get into an argument. Jenna says something she cannot take back and it threatens his football contract. This leads to a fake engagement between them. Will this be the second chance they deserve?

The Contract is such an amazing story by Alexia Chase. I had a hard time putting the book down as I was so engrossed in the story and wanted to finish before I had to stop.
The back story and hurt feelings Tony and Jenna have experienced over the years fules the chemistry when they reunite at the Wedding.
The passion exploded when Jenna wanting to do the right thing, so she agreed to help Tony until his contact is signed.
You will find yourself lost in the pages as you get lost in their story.

Great read for those who love second chances. Miscommunication is the name of this couple for Jenna and Tony, who were previously debut in the The Bet by Ms. Chase. Fun bickering between the characters when all it really is just pent up sexual tension. Like how these two, finally come together with their true feelings and the ending was very fitting.

This was really good. Well written. Great characters. Filled with emotions, steam, angst, funny moments, and misunderstandings. Was great seeing Rich, and Chloe again.

You have like all the tropes here in one great story. Jenna and Tony are the perfect enemies-to-lovers former friends and I couldn't get enough. Their communication needs help and it was a little frustrating getting to where they finally are open with each other as to what happened but boy was it hot having them get there. Their attraction is palpable and it could have burned down my Kindle

Absolutely fantastic! It is a well written second chance romance with a well-developed, consistent, and engaging plot. It is a captivating, funny, witty, steamy, and emotionally deep read with some ups and downs. The characters are likeable and strong; the chemistry between them is hot and off the charts! This book will hold your interest from beginning to end. Strongly recommended!

Predictable
Jenna and Tony have a complicated history starting from one fateful night as teenagers. Fast forward 6 years later, a series of events lead them back to each other.
Jenna was immature often assuming what Tony was thinking and they had a serious lack of communication.
A lot of detailed sex scenes but not an equal amount of romance or romantic scenes.
Overall a predictable and okay read but the characters were lacking. Too much internal dialogue .

wonderful story .. what a lie in the past does not bring about. they always liked each other and had very good chemistry .. fortunately the chemistry is still there, but now with the lie in mind .. love finally conquers it. I really enjoyed this story. everything is well described and mine therefore 5 stars.

This was a good read. I enjoy the frenemies books because of the tension between the characters. So much could’ve been bypassed if the characters would’ve just voiced their wants and needs in the beginning.

Oh my lanta, I enjoyed this book soooo much more than the first book in the series. This story was filled with love, emotions, sweet, swoony, frustrating, happy moments. 4.75 stars.
