Entertaining and well written story, great plot totally riveting This is a simply wonderful read an I am not able to tell you how much you will enjoy reading about these wonderful characters, it is a complex read and it is essential that you enjoy every single moment of this book. The Mancini family has hired them for protection and if there is something the Rebel Saints are great at is caring for those in need, they had never anticipated that the job would actually pull them into a mob war. Then a very young and fresh-faced reporter arrived on the on their doorstep asking plenty of questions so that there was probably not one thing they had not been asked, it is fairly obvious that someone wants Angie to be dead but she is determined to survive. It is obvious that she needs as much help as possible if she wanted to keep breathing and now it was extremely obvious that Angie needs to be aware that someone is trying to harm her and she had to discover who is behind it. This is a wonderful read and I assure you that you will enjoy every single moment of this book. I do not want to spoil the plot so will say no more about the three of them, I assure you that you will enjoy every single moment of this book. I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read. I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.
No real chemistry between the main characters. I picked finishing folding laundry over finishing this book. Story has potential if the characters were more developed. Like she’s a writer and what else. Ex does she tap her lips with a pencil before sticking it into her messy bun prior to tapping on her keyboard. Does she have anything special about her?
this new novel is medium in length, not short enough to be a novella and not long enough to be considered a more substantial novel because it is 170 pages long. That said, it is well written and there is a lot of detail in the plot. It feels like reading a more substantial book and also references to the earlier series. It has an interesting storyline, strong characters and is well developed. The Rebel Saints MC is now setting up a new Chapter in Cutover, with Keys being the president. Angie, investigating journalist, is placed here for her safety as someone has tried to kill her. The MC is hired to provide protection for Mancini, mafia boss. Angie has been delving into the dealings of the mafia moving into the locality, so there are opposite goals and priorities in this equation. The relationship between Keys and Angie develops as he tries to keep her safe, but she pushes onwards and is defiant. I found this behaviour irritating at times, especially as she deliberately does the opposite in disregard for protecting herself, especially when she endangers others in the process. This is a very good introduction to the new series and I am looking forward to reading the next story. The new Chapter seems to be establishing itself.
I really enjoyed this book and would love to continue reading the series that is associated with the books. Although, with the future books, it looks like they will be different main characters but a continued plot of the storyline from Keys. I felt that the storyline and characters were well developed and continued to develop more throughout the series.
Angie is a journal investigator and is in trouble when she gets protection from Keys, the President of a new Chapter in Cutover. I think the only thing I wish I would have seen a little more of in the book is the relationship between Angie and Keys. For me, with Angie, I had a little harder time liking her in the beginning because she was so defiant and would not really listen to Keys when he was just trying to keep her safe. I really liked Keys, and he was my favorite to read about. I really enjoyed how he was protective of Angie and just wanted to keep her safe. I think this book is a good start to the series, and I can’t wait to read the next book and see where the storyline will continue to go.
I was excited to see the Rebel Saints series get a new chapter in Cutover.
Angie, the spunky investigative reporter who made trouble and also did some good, is in hot water. She is sent by Bones to the new chapter in Cutover to help keep her safe. We get to meet the new crew, and the man in charge- Keys. I loved the enemies to friends to more that their relationship goes through. All the while there is danger lurking. Their client and the danger to Angie means the chapter need to keep on their toes. Too bad Angie is not going to make it easy on them.
An interesting read that kept me hooked trying to figure out what was all going on as the pieces get revealed. I was a fan of the Rebel Saints, and Cutover gives time with old characters while developing tales with new ones. I look forward to reading the next book.
I received an advanced copy of this story and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
This is the first installment of Ms. Adams' Rebel Saints Cutover Chapter, and what a brilliant start it is! The perfect romantic suspense to keep you up late at night, flipping the pages anxious to see what happens next. Angie is one tough investigative reporter who doesn't back down from a story. But being the best at what she does has resulted in her having some dangerous enemies and nearly gets her killed leaving work one day. Keys is in charge of the new chapter and now also in charge of keeping Angie safe. This story is filled with action, suspense, and drama and will keep you on the edge of your seat the entire time. The chemistry between Keys and Angie just jumps off the page. The plot was well-written and the storyline flowed smoothly. This was a great story with a wonderful cast of characters and I'm looking forward to reading the next installment.
I received a complimentary copy from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review.
This story is action pack non stop. Angie needs protection. She is strong, smart, beautiful and a trouble maker. She goes to the only place where she feels safe. When it's Keys is the man for the job. Keys is just getting started with his chapter of brothers. He is handsome, smart, witty, and nice man. He has alot of things going on. Lily gives you an action pack story with a side of and which is okay. I see that this story is like a continuation of the previous series. I only read the first book Bones and have not kept up with the other stories after his. Honestly you really don't need to but it's highly recommended that you do. I will not be continue to read this series but I absolutely love this story!Lily writing was good in this book. And the book ends in a Cliffhanger!!!! So beware. I wish the romance was more in the forefront instead secondary. Good work Lily💕💕
A good story with a bit of action. Angie, the investigative journalist who made a good name for herself in the original series, has a target on her back. Bones pawns her off to Keys for her own protection. The cartel, mafia, and bikers make a number of appearances throughout the story. I found that Angie has a tendency to act first and think later, if ever, which seems contrary to her profession, but, hey, it worked. I also found Keys to be more reactive than I expected. Previously, he seemed to be a strategist, yet, in this story, he seemed more of a tactician, acting first, thinking later. Perhaps it was just Angie getting under his skin.
Another series by Lily J. Adams...same author as the last series I read. I complained about the end of the last book not wrapping up the lose ends.... well a few of the people in that series is in this one and got at least a few answers.
This is Key's and Angie's book. Key is now the new President of a new chapter of the Rebel Saints. Angie is the annoying journalist only thinking about the story.... she finally got what was coming for her.... someone is trying to kill her. Bones is still the main president of both chapters and if another opens he will be the head pres. Of all. Bones makes Keys take her in and protect her.... they are always bumping heads.
Maybe even more answers to come after the next book
Falling For His Charge - This was a exciting action-packed romance, that kept me on the edge of my seat with each page turn. I loved heroine of the story, who was strong yet vulnerable, as well as the rest of the supporting characters, who also played a great part in making the story enjoyable. What a an intriguing romance to read. My only negative was that I struggled to read the story, as the font was too small. I will still be happy to recommend this book to anyone looking for an interesting and captivating read.
I received an advanced copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
Angie is an investigative journalist and when she finds herself in trouble, she turns to MC group Rebel Saints who have kind of taken her under their wings. They are starting a new chapter and Keys is in charge of it. When Angie is taken to the new club for protection Keys is not a happy camper because he has his hands full trying to get the chapter up and running. He doesn’t have time to “babysit”. Lily does a great job with this new beginning of the cutover chapter. Very well written with plenty of suspense, drama and action. Well worthy of 5 stars and I was honored to receive an arc copy and I’m voluntarily leaving my honest review.
Thrilling Steamy MC Romance “Keys” is an awesome lead into Lily J. Adams’s new series about the new Cutover Chapter of the Rebel Saints Motorcycle Club. It is well written with a captivating storyline filled with steamy romance, action, drama and suspense. The twists and turns kept me intrigued throughout and epilogue is a great lead into the next book in the series. Cannot wait to read about Teresa and Wildcat in Book 2. I received an ARC of this book from the author in return for voluntarily writing an honest review.
Keys is the first book of the Rebel Saints MC and is a great start to the series. They're starting over in Cutover and everyone is looking forward to a fresh start. Things heat up when they get hired by the Mancini mob family. Angie is an investigative reporter who's stirring up some trouble and needs protection. She asks Keys and his brothers for help. The chemistry between them is explosive and he works hard to guard his heart. This book is fast paced, full of action and overflowing with danger. I read an arc via the author and voluntarily chose to review it.
A new chapter for the MC has begun. Hard to deny the attraction and chemistry between these two. Angie is not one to just sit back and do nothing, she will dig until she gets all the facts and her story. Key is the president of the new mc chapter and asked to keep Angie safe. But he cant help but find her so stubborn and frustrating, and sexy as hell. This book was filled with suspense and action, had me needing to know what will happen next. I can not wait till the next book in this series is out.. I absolutely LOVE THIS SERIES .. its a must read for all.
Just love this first book in the new chapter of this wonderful series, a story with lots of suspense, danger, you will get you hooked for sure with the story of Keys and Angie. Things in life are not what they seems to be, life is hard and filled with ups and downs but it is always better when you are 2 to face it. This storyline is heartwarming at times and heartbreaking at others times. We learn so much more about every characters we have been following since Bones. Thanks to the author for providing my review copy.
Keys is the first book in the #CutoverChapter of the #RebelSaintsMC series by #lilyjadams. Let me tell you, this series is off to a great start! Angie is an investigative reporter from Holbeck and someone is actively trying to kill her. In order to get her out of Holbeck and try to keep her safe, she winds up with Keys in Cutover. Throw together some sexy men in leather, forced proximity, and someone trying to kill you, usually adds up to some feelings that no one is expecting and some steam you didn't know you needed! I can't wait to see how this new chapter of the Rebel Saints plays out!
This book is a crossover from the Rebel Saints MC boxset. Keys found his family when he joined the army, and it changed him for the better. He's asked by Bones, the original Saints President, to watch over a reporter that they'd come to know, called Angie Carmichael. Little did Keys know that this feisty woman would come to mean so much to him. Can he do his job and protect her, without falling for her? A fantastic read, I can't wait to start the next book!
First book in a new spinoff MC series. Keys is the president of the Cutover Chapter and is in the process of setting up shop. Angie is an investigative reporter on the run from powerful enemies. Will Keys be able to protect her and keep everyone safe? Plenty of action with strong characters... including a few we know very well. Great storyline... off to a fantastic start.
I was given an ARC but voluntarily chose to review
Interesting start of a new series! But I must recommend to read Rebel Saints first - it will help understand better the plot, some aspects and the dinamic of characters. This is a story that I want to read from a long time. It’s Angie’s story and she is a force of nature! With enaugh twists and turns, a lot of danger, a bit of humor and some steam, this will catch you quickly!
I received an ARC copy thru Bookfunnel and I leave my honest voluntary review.
Making a fresh start Keys the President of the new Chapter in Cutover is working to put the past behind them and turn legit when the Mancini family hire the guys for protection, it's a job they can't afford to pass up. Angie is a journalist investigating the Mafia and when someone is out to quieten her she goes straight to the MC for help.
Omg, this is a fantastic start to a new series, I was hooked from the beginning.
When Teresa goes, missing Wildcat is summoned to find her because of his skills. This starts his journey with Teresa, a feisty, independent woman who is a gambler and is in deep to Draco a loan shark. Although Wildcat is used to one-night stands, he begins to have feelings for Teresa and wants to make sure that she is safe. This action-packed story is filled with twist and turns that keeps you glued to the pages! I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.
Wow, what a ride! Following Keys and Angie through their story was awesome. Angie is so strong willed and stubborn, she was a joy to read! And Keys?!?! I mean, who doesn't love a strong protective sexy man! I really liked the suspense and mystery that was part of this story. I can't wait to see what happens in the next book.
An exciting first book in the series. Keys is the prez for the new chapter. Busy getting everything started and lined up, when Angie seeks their help. She's an investigative reporter and someone is out to kill her. She won't give up, tho and gets into trouble again and again. Can Keys keep her safe?? Full of action. Full of mystery. Full of steam.
Angie gets into trouble and an attempt is made on her life so she runs to the bikers and Keys helps protect her. This is dramatic and full on action as the danger nears but the romance is certainly there as well as the steam. Well written, this was a great story that grabs from the start. So good! This was an ARC and this is my honest review.
Because I love this author I read this whole book. I didn't seem to connect to this couple very easily. I didn't find myself cheering them on. It maybe because I didn't like or relate to Angie very much. Don't let this stop you from reading this book, it was just my personal opinions and I would still read anything Lily writes.
This is the first in a new series and this is Keys and Angie's story. This is a well written story which is intriguing, and with action, suspense, danger, humour, and love which all leads to a riveting and addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
Very tame story. Not the down and dirty sexcapades, we're use to. Pres of the new Cutover MC is tasked with taking with keeping a journalist safe after two serious attempts on her life have occurred. They must go through a list of suspects that she has helped to send to prison in order to find who wants Angie dead.
The Mancini family has recruited the MC for help. In this fast paced novel, we get to learn more about the bond within the MC and the developing relationships between our characters. There was plenty of heart pounding moments, moments where you wanted to cheer for the characters, and moments where you wanted to pray nothing terrible happens. Overall, this was an enjoyable read.
This story was ok. I felt like I was missing a back story and I didn’t feel the chemistry between Angie and Keys. I found Angie to be annoying putting herself at risk all the time. Would recommend for those that really enjoy MC genre.
I enjoyed this first in the Cutover series. Angie was a wonderfully independent, focused and determined and Keys was just as determined to protect her! I can’t wait for the next chapter in the overarching plot.
