Michael: Destined Angels II

Rate this book
As one of heaven’s most powerful archangels, I loyally protected heaven until I made irreparable decisions that would make me question who I am. To my shame, I lost my brother Lucifer, and I slew an innocent female. Fast forward thousands of years later, and I manage to right the wrong that I caused. Lucifer is now happily mated, and I have my brother back. Unfortunately, I had to lose my own destined mate in the process. Or did I?
My name is Valentina. One fateful night, I was hanging around with my friend and minding my own business when a pack of Nagas attacked and infected her. Now, the only way I have to save her is to kill the Naga queen.
When the hot archangel, Michael, offers me his help, what’s a girl to do? Though I can’t resist his alluring eyes and sinful body, the clock is ticking, and if I don’t kill the Naga queen, I might lose my best friend along with my heart.

Valentina is the strong independent type with a traumatic past. So of course she is perfect for Millenia old archangel Michael. Valentina and Michael team up to protect Valentina's friend who has been bitten by a naga. The bite is spreading, and Sami is likely to die. The more the two work together, the deeper in love they fall. But a lack of communication about an interconnected past threatens to stop them before they can begin.

I enjoyed Michael's and Valentina's story. Though Michael does have several moments of being a jerk. But there wouldn't be tension and drama if characters were perfect. Can't wait to read the next one.
