Great history books. I pick out Colonial America as a single book before I saw this collection but I was thrilled to see it. It did not think it took me more than a minute to pick this one up too. Very little of Quakers, Puritans were taught in school when I was younger and I am pretty sure it is the same today. Unless you talk about the witch trials that part of history is glossed over. I knew nothing of the Pequot war so that was of great interest. This is a really good collection for the history lover. I highly recommend it.
Great read. I honestly think that I learned much more from this read than I ever did in High School history class. It was interesting to learn about the 13 colonies and the many people and events that happened during this time. Looking forward to reading more books.
This is an excellent series of books on colonial America up to the American revolution. They are light reading in general, with enough specifics to verify, but not getting bogged down in the weeds of scholarly debate.
