The heroine starts off very unlikeable (rude and argumentative for absolutely no reason) but she improves. I like Jeff, and he’s been around since the beginning so it’s nice to see him finally get a story. The ending was ok, but it felt like it didn’t explain enough about what was going to happen with his brother and the lost cattle. Did they catch him? Was he going to jail? Was there any restitution? Just felt very unfinished.
