This book is definitely hot - but much like the first one I somehow missed the detailed description of Trip. I always want to know how tall a guy is, I don’t know why but I do. I got the point that JJ was plus size, and I loved that. Their connection ignited the page and it was also really sad about them losing a decade together. I wish that there were more scenes of them working through and processing their past and what happened. I also think that JJ somewhat forgave Trip a little too fast, but I also understand that. I can’t wait for Pound (lord these roadnames are awesome).

Merry Christmas Secrets.
When the Prez gives a "suggestion" you take it! That's why Trip is freezing on his way to a cabin to spend Christmas with his sister--his blood family. She has quite a surprise present for him. The only woman he's ever loved. The woman who broke his heart. The woman who made give keep secrets from his sister is standing at the door instead of his sister who says she has to work and will be there when she can.
JJ is just as surprised and wants to leave. The weather has colluded with his sister and she has to stay.
Secrets have kept them apart. Will the truth come out and give them another chance? I loved the story, and the characters, and am ready to keep reading. The author is new as is the series but I've loved the series I've read and want more.

This is the second book in this series, and this is Cristofer / Trip and Jessika / JJ story. Trip lost his heart 10-years ago and has been sworn off relationships ever since. When Trip is coerced by his sister to spend Christmas at the family cabin with her, he agrees, only to find out that his JJ is there instead. What will Trip do when he finds out about a secret JJ has kept for the past 10-years? This is a well written story which is emotionally charged, with undeniable chemistry, family, surprises, secrets, truths, misunderstandings, lies, betrayal, second chances, and love, which leads to an entertaining and steamy page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Oh my word! This second chance at everything was so good!! I adored Trip and his reluctance to follow his prez's order to spend time with his family at Christmas. His sister had a bigger plan for him. Jessika is reluctant as well when her best friend and Trip's sister asks her to come for Christmas too. Neither knows about the other but they will. I loved how they want to put the past behind them but it keeps coming back until it's addressed. The love that started when they were teens is still blazing years later. Trip is determined to have Jess in his life from now until forever. Jess isn't so sure. The secret that is kept can blow everything up. Cant wait for the next book!

I am so hooked on this series. Trip and JJ have a second chance story. The brotherhood is all about family and when Trip is ordered to see his sister for Christmas and he gets ambushed by his sister’s plan. JJ shows up and Trip sees that she is the woman form 10 years ago and they still hate each other. The story unveils some dark secrets that will need to be taken care of. There is violence, sex, brotherhood and love. I highly recommend this book and I recommend it be read in order. I am patiently waiting on the next book. Sisters Spotlight 💕

I initially read this in the A Very Naughty MC Christmas anthology. However, while that was most of the story, and amazing even then, this version completes the story with what happened after Lake Tahoe. I enjoy the second-chance/forced proximity tropes, so this was a great read for me. I love the last few chapters, and holy moly, I just gotta say…..I WANT MORE OF THE DESERT PHANTOMS AND I WANT THEM NOW!!

Wow. This had so much secrets revealed that I felt for them all. I couldn't put book down once started.
I loved Trip and JJ together, they both have a past with each other. Truths come out what hurt them both and family members. These two really suit each other and always had. They just needed a nudge to get sorted.
I can't wait for more.

I enjoyed this much more than the first book.
I think the author is finding her feet with this series, and now she is playing with our emotions and I'm here for it.
While I had a few lingering questions for this couple and found the steam interrupted the plot again slightly, I'm far too invested in what happened in the last few pages to think on it too much.
Running to start book 3 now.

Ok this book got me. The lies and secrets never fully go away and when people gets their hearts involved, it can go really bad. Trip and JJ have unfinished business but the past may tear it all apart before it can be fixed. Excellent writing.

I was waiting forever for a new book after Thunder so I devoured Trip! I just love this MC group the stories have danger and romance perfect combination! I hope a new one is coming soon.

Trip "Cristofer" was destroyed by the one woman who had his heart and still does today ten years ago. So when he is tricked by his sister Meri, he just wants to turn the other direction. Jessika "JJ" has been hiding a secret for ten years but all she wants is her life back and the man she loves in it. This book is full of misunderstandings, lies, betrayals, family, love and alpha bikers. I loved this book and it just continues where Thunder ended. I highly recommend this author, book and series. The characters are intense, loving, jealous, vengeful and humorous. I can't wait to read Pound's book next, watch out Meri he's coming for you!!!
