A ripping yarn with incredibly unlikely plot and in need of some professional editing, but there is no doubt that Mr Jones, who has come to writing late in life, is a gifted writer with a real eye for the lives of ordinary folk. Set in Liverpool, New York, Montgomeryshire and Bishops Castle, and despite its’ faults, an entertaining read.
