This is a great 3 book box set, where each book can be read as a stand alone. The set revolves around 3 of 4 friends that were besties in high school. (Wish this had the 4th friends book as well). Each book contains women who have been hurt by one thing or another (basically a man) and have found a way to overcome their current insecurities due to the ending of previous relationships.

Strong story lines, awesome characters, fantastic detailed descriptions, and a sweet romance.

Written as 1st person.

Would I recommend this box set? Yes

Would I read more from this author? Yes

A fantastic box set of Susan Hatler's Kissed by the Bay books 1-3. This is wonderful series that is enjoyable and the perfect reads to curl up in your favorite reading spot and get lost in the stories. The characters are fun to get to know and when you finish the book, they feel like family. Choose to read them all or just read 1 or 2 and save the other for another weekend of reading.

Susan Hatler is always a fun read! In this series I kept wanting to tell the main characters to COMMUNICATE! Don't keep secrets, and let other knows how you feel. Every Little Kiss:
Get rescued by a tall, gorgeous guy when you're at your lowest moment? Yes, please! -"Oh, wow. Gorgeous, a hero, and a sweet talker? This guy might actually be the bright spot in my otherwise awful day."-
Wendy must sell her grandmother's inn, even though it's her brother's home and he doesn't want to give it up, all per their grandmother's will. The siblings only have each other and this obstacle is driving an even bigger wedge between them. There's nothing Wendy can do. Wendy and her brother set out to renovate the inn, in order to get it ready to sell in a month. Wendy is trying to keep her focus on the job at hand so she can get back to her life in Sacramento but the gorgeous man she met on the beach, Max, is proving to be quite the distraction. She can't get involved with him. He travels all over the globe for work and she's got her own life. She needs stability and she can't face being abandoned again, so she's not going to give Max a chance. It will be best just to focus on the task at hand and forget about Max...even if they did kiss under a blue moon at the bay...
Those readers who have read books from this series will understand the significance of the legend of being kissed under a blue moon by the bay. This is a series of stories but each one is stand-alone and they can be read in any order. A wonderful, engaging read. This novella moves at a fast pace. At the time I am writing this review, the e-book is free so it is the ideal time to give this wonderful author a try! I've read many of her books and I haven't been disappointed. Her books are clean and they simply ooze romance! A perfect escape from reality and wonderful to curl up with by the fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate!

The Perfect Kiss:
One of the things I love about Susan Hatler's writing style is that she jumps right into the story right from the start. The reader is immediately in the action or into the storyline. It always feels like I'm a part of it right from the beginning.
Olivia has a chance to make all of her dreams come true - all she has to do is plan a huge event for a famous author. If she can pull it off, it will become a regular event and Olivia will finally be able to follow her dream and become an event planner full-time. However, a bunch of hot firefighters staying right next door for the two-week duration of her women empowerment/no dating men retreat is proving to be quite the challenge! Will she manage to impress her difficult boss? And will she have to choose between her heart and her career?
This story, which is part of a series, is fun, humourous, and engaging. It is fast-paced and clean. The hero is totally dreamy too. :) Well worth the read!

Just One Kiss:
I so enjoyed the story! A lifetime ago (or so it seems) I wanted to be an actress and I can totally relate to Charlie's character. She was so endearing and so clumsy it was cute. I laughed out loud at some of her antics. I thought it was so classy how she treated her ex - without humiliating him or trying to get revenge.
Luke was so sweet and thoughtful! So kind and respectful...and patient!
This story was a wonderful addition to the series. I loved it.
Every book in the series tells a different story, highlighting the lives of a group of friends (their individual stories), of how they suffered broken or bad relationships in the past, and end up meeting the man of their dreams. Each story is a stand-alone novel. It is best to read them in order as each friend meets their special someone in chronological order. I have found all of the books to move along at a fast pace. They have all had engaging characters and I have had a tonne of fun reading them all. I highly recommend Susan Hatler's books!

Every Little Kiss
I didn’t have a clue what I was in for when I sat down to read this book. It sounded so simple and innocuous. And though it’s been a while, the last of this author’s books I read, I remember being almost more comedy than romantic. I was prepared for the laughs when we say Wendy’s clumsiness in action. I wasn’t at all prepared for the tears as she opened to heart to yet more pain. Max is adorable. He’s dealing with some ghosts of his own, but his seem to be quieter than Wendy’s. Together, they broke my heart before mending it right back up. I’m starting to fall for all the quirky inhabitants of Blue Moon Bay and can’t wait to read more about them.
The Perfect Kiss
This book and I had a bit of a love-hate relationship going on. I loved the messages of being strong enough to be independent; not needing another person to “complete you”. Where this all fell apart for me was that while Olivia was spouting all the self-help dogma she’d absorbed about how a strong, independent woman was supposed to behave she then caved to everyone else’s impossible demands. And I wasn’t completely impressed with Brody either. I liked how sweetly solicitous he is of Olivia, however I thought he was holding her to a double-standard. It felt like she had to tread lightly around his emotional triggers while he gave very little consideration to hers. I really liked the first book in this series so I’m going to continue, but this definitely wasn’t my favorite.
Just One Kiss
I enjoyed this. Charlie didn’t drive me as mental as Olivia did, but it was a near thing at times. I love the fact that Charlie takes the high road with her ex every time an opportunity comes up where she could hit him where it hurts. I thought that was very admirable. Maybe it’s because we don’t get the chance to live in Luke’s brain, but while I liked him, I don’t feel like I really got to know him. The major conflict at the end of the book made me want to yell and throw things. Here’s a novel idea: talk to one another! It makes me gnash my teeth in frustration when the drama in a story is created by characters avoiding having a simple adult conversation with one another. I realize it’s very realistic to everyday life, but it feels a little like taking the easy road to generate angst. I’m still interested in seeing what else is going to happen in this quirky little bay town.

Organizing a woman only retreat is a great way of doing just what she needs. That is until the house next door to them is filled with hot men.
It is important to not let anything stand in the way of happiness.
Just One Kiss – Charlie and Luke
Charlie is divorced and struggling financially to make a life for herself away from her rock star ex husband. She agrees to rent her house out to a very popular soap opera, the money will save her home.
In walks the hot star of the show she has always crushed on. Sparks fly on set between them.
Each book can absolutely be read as stand alone even though the couples are in each book. You won't be lost if you just read one or all.
Wonderful second chance love stories, all with happily ever after. Feel good stories about broken hearts being healed by love.

Once you start this series you’re gonna need to read all the books, so you may as well start with the first three books in this box set! Amazing characters and settings and unique storylines. These book have it all. Romance, family, life, adventures, and healing.

Every Little Kiss. 5 stars

I read the Christmas Kissed by the Bay book first in this series and was excited to read some more of the series. This book was really different from that one but I liked it just as much. A wonderful setting with great characters and hurdles to be overcome.

The moment the title clicked for me when reading was amazing. It made everything seem more vibrant. Weird, since I’ve never experienced that before, but completely awesome with emphasis on the awe.


The Perfect Kiss. 5 stars

I am excited to learn more about one of the friends from the first book. I’m glad this book picks up at a similar time as to when the last book ended.

I love the whole storyline. The tension both personally and professionally was enticing and engaging.

I loved the themes of female independence put alongside of relationships. This book was extraordinarily well done. I can’t wait to read the next book!

Just One Kiss. 5 stars

After meeting Charlie in the last book I was overjoyed to find her story coming up next! Such a fantastic premise. I wanted to jump around by the time the first chapter was over. This book was even better than the first two, and that’s saying something! I just wanted to keep reading this book forever! Crazy unexpected twists and turns. Can’t wait to see what’s up next in this series!

Kissed by the bay box set is based around Blue Moon Bay, each book focused around three childhood friends Wendy, Olivia and Charlie, who drifted apart but get to meet again.

Every Little Kiss - Book one - focuses on Wendy after the loss of her beloved Gran who after passing unexpectedly, left stipulations in her will for Wendy to return home to Blue Moon Bay to run the inn for one month, then to sell the inn. Book one details the legend of Blue Moon Bay, where legend claims kissing by the bay under the blue moon will find everlasting love.
Family frictions come to the surface through various events.

The Perfect Kiss - Book two - fast forward in time, this book focusing on Olivia. Olivias trying to set up a successful business of her own, which leads to her running a women's retreat, she desperately wants to get out of her market job.

Just One Kiss - Book three - fast forward again, focusing on Charlie's character.

Each book to me, seems to follow the same storyline, different characters, same gist. I can't decide what genre it should be, it doesn't seem to me to be Romance woman's fiction, sometimes it feels more young adult, but not all.
For me personally, I found it started okay, but I found it more of an effort to keep reading. Seems to repeat itself a lot at times, and I found the terms of endearment used a bit irritating, certainly for books one and two. I wanted to enjoy this, but these books really weren't what I'd hoped for, for me. Would've given 2.5 stars if possible, but feel too harsh giving 2.

I just loved each of these books:
(Every Little Kiss, Book 1)
Wendy and Max are great you can see they are fully attracted to each other but Wendy who has closed herself off to feelings and caring for anyone and Max as well as her family and friends make her start re thinking things. There are laughs, sadness, frustration and a beautiful legend that makes you want to go visit Blue Moon Bay.

(The Perfect Kiss, Book 2)
Olivia's patients and feelings are put to the test in this book as she is torn about swearing off men, running a women's only retreat that could launch her event planning career, dealing with her parents and trying to resist the hot fireman Brody who is staying next door. Oh the laughs you have along with some cringe worthy moments as well as the satisfaction of seeing Olivia grow as a event planner and a person while sparks fly with Brody!

(Just One Kiss, Book 3)
Oh I just loved Charlie and totally get herb wanting to stay under the radar but thats not going to be easy especially with her new house guests, her ex husband and her terrible attempts of a disguise to go unnoticed in public lol There is excitement with Charlie looking like she is going to finally have her dream of acting but she has to deal with others dislike of her, the attraction to Luke and learning she can trust guys as well as have a future doing what she has always wanted to do.

This is a set, the first three books in this series, and it's exactly what I've come to expect from this author - cute, clean and flirty stories about people who have amazing chemistry together, working toward their happy endings. The stories flow nicely, and they're easy to read.

Every Little Kiss - Wendy's grandmother's will says that she has to come home for 30 days before the inn can be sold. Max is a guest at the inn, and he's fallen in love with Blue Moon Bay, and especially the legend. She has abandonment issues stemming from childhood memories, but he's there supporting her.

The Perfect Kiss - Olivia is smart, strong, and working toward her goal. She plans a women's retreat - no men allowed. And who's next door? A men's retreat group full of hot firefighters, including Brody. He's gorgeous and charming, and the sparks fly between them from the moment they meet.

Just One Kiss - Charlie give up her dreams for her husband. After that marriage goes by the wayside, she has a second opportunity for her career. And also for love. But she has to choose - her dream job, or the new guy in her life?

There’s no place like home. Four childhood friends find this out. They grew up as best friends in a small seaside town called Blue Moon Bay. But then life happens. After high school they grew apart. Heartache and abandonment issues cause two of them to move away to escape, and seek a new life. But after years away they all end up back in their home town. This box set is about three of the friends. Charlie, Olivia, and Ronnie all find love in their small town. Legend says kissing under the Blue Moon will guarantee the two will find love. For these three the legend is true. I hope there is a story about Megan, and Ronnie’s sister Claire. The secondary characters in these stories were great, and I hope some of them get their own stories.

This is such an awesome read and what a great value!!! You set three of Susan Hatler's books in one!!! I love this author, her story and character building is off the charts. Her word usage makes your feel like you and a part of the story watching the story happen right in front of you. Each story is a stand alone novel, but it is best to read them in their chronological order. They all have engaging well written characters and make for a must read for any fan and I just can't get enough and can't wait to read more!!!

WOW....I loved Susan Hatler’s Kissed By The Bay box set consisting of three delightful books including Every Little Kiss, The Perfect Kiss, and Just One Kiss. Each of these books have a different story with wonderfully developed characters. The novel’s are heartwarming, fun to read, emotional, romantic, and all end in a happily ever after. An Enjoyable Must Read Box Set

This is an entertaining collection of stories in a Box Set from Susan Hatler. “Kissed by the Bay Boxed Set (Books 1-3)”. is a very enjoyable and well written collection of books. The brilliant, entertaining chemistry and interaction between the interesting characters kept me glued till the end. This is a really great, engaging Box Set that I enjoyed reading.

This is a set of stories following childhood friends as they find love. I cried with Wendy, I fretted with Olivia, and I laughed with Charlie. These ladies were so much fun to cheer for in their quest for love. The men who find them are steady and true, just waiting for the chance to love these charming ladies. I really enjoyed this collection.

Chick lit at its finest. Three book set includes stories in Blue Moon Bay. All stories feature adorable women with some insecurities but all ready for romance.

I like the connection between the town and the legend in each story.

If sweet awkward women with adorable men after them is your jam, then you got three delights here.

I have loved all Susan's book and this is no exception. Three great stories in one book. What could be better. I had in fact purchased the first two books a couple of years ago but the third was new to me. I still read them all again.

Another great story by Susan Hatler! I was caught up in the characters in the first chapter and wanted to know the outcome. The characters dealt with real-life scenarios but at the same time also had some fun. A great Happily-Ever-After story-line.
