Wall Street Journal & USA Today Bestselling author, Nana Malone writes Sexy Feel-Good Romance and loves of all things romance and adventure.
That love started with a tattered romantic suspense she "borrowed" from her cousin. It was a sultry summer afternoon in Ghana, and Nana was a precocious thirteen. She's been in love with kick butt heroines ever since. With her overactive imagination, and channeling her inner Buffy, it was only a matter a time before she started creating her own characters.
OMG. There were things I guessed correctly that happened in this conclusion to the trilogy. And then, there were things I never saw coming. All I can say is that this book is absolutely BRILLIANT. Just wow.
Nana did the total “drop the mic” thing with this final book in the series. This book has it all. Suspense, twists, turns, laughter, love and lots of heat. Bridge and Emma are definitely a couple that hasn’t had it easy. They both share a painful past. And that past seems to always be following them and the London Lords. But with the help of their friends, e Emma and Bridge persevered. They never gave up and received the HEA that they deserved. This is a series that is not to be missed. But must start at the beginning. Grab some popcorn, a cold glass of water and a fan and hop on a ride you will love to the very end.
Broken Bridge by Nana Malone is all about jaw dropping twists, heartaching feels, steamy beauty and a complex plot executed in Nana Malone's impeccable style. It's a bittersweet experience for me because I have been devouring all London Lords books and with this story, this epic saga comes to a conclusion.
Bridge and Emma's story is the most complicated story of all the couples.it all started when the London Lords started to take down the corrupt and evil sides of the powerful secret society called the Elite. They are so close to avenging their friend's mother. And it's getting more and more dangerous everyday. Bridge and Emma have to work as a team and this is their ultimate test.
The author was tying up all the loose ends in this story so expect to spend a lot of time solving the puzzles. And the twists were really endless. I did not see that coming. I almost had no time to recover. And the major twist at the ending broke me too. Bridge is the most edgy character in this series. He has this raw intensity and he can be unhinged. Obviously he is over the top alpha. His life is a mess of anger and heartbreak and vulnerability. My heart breaks for him over and over again. He has this darkness that is terrifying and also sexy. Emma is what he needed in his life. She is feisty. Fearless. Loyal and stubborn and loving. She is reckless and refuses to be bossed around. Bridge needed someone to share his burden and Emma is that partner. Obviously Bridge tried to keep it all to himself and shelter Emma but she is not going to listen. The bromance in this series is epic as usual. Blood really doesn't define family. This whole crew is exceptional. My only issue with this book was the dominance of suspense. I was overwhelmed with so many plot twists and the romance was sometimes taking a backseat. A lot is happening here and it's easy to get lost. But I won't miss the conclusion of Bridge and Emma. You shouldn't either.
Broken Bridge is book three in the See No Evil Trilogy and this has been absolutely amazing to read it's been full of mystery, suspense and so many twists and turns but watching Bridge and Emma's relationship evolve with so many past misgivings their love has just gone from strength to strength.
I've over the London Lord guy's and the fact that they've never given up on their need to avenge Toby and take his killer/s down and now with Emma in the mix it's getting closer to getting there much needed revenge.
Again Nana gave us an amazing Series from the boy's and this Bridge's trilogy. I've loved every second of these books.
OH MY GOODNESS!!!! There is no way to go about an honest review without spoiling something, so I'll keep it brief. The London Lads are back in Bridge's final story, and boy are they pi&$ed lol. They have carefully crafted a plan for years to deal with those responsible for Toby's death, and the finish line is in sight. There are obstacles and challenges in their way but Bridge is DONE with the constant threats and having to keep a smile on his face all the while. Emma is not about to let Bridge have all the fun. Toby was HER brother, she deserves answers and vengeance. Their paths are set, they are going to get what they are due, but at what cost? I LOVED this SO much I stretched it out, putting it away when I'd otherwise have kept reading just so I could prolong the adventure! Bridge and Emma remain RED HOT. I was so happy to see their united front, no matter the threat, so long as they had each other it would turn out in the end. They fought but that just made for some real hot bickering turning to fighting which turned into another f word lol. I was sad to say goodbye to the gang and I hope we'll see them all again on a future adventure!
The finale of Emma and Bridge has you guessing at every turn. As the London Lords team up with Emma, Livy, Nyla, Telly, Amelia and the crew from Winston Isles to seek justice in Toby’s death, they deal with a whole hoard of secrets. Not only do they have to deal with a secret society, they also learn their is so much more brewing below the surface. And these secrets are desperate to remain hidden. If revealed, lives will be in danger. Bridge and Emma will need to rely on each other and their friends to make headway and uncover the truth, but can they? Both stubborn, independent, and protective of those they love, they will push their own boundaries and behave differently than they have before. Can they put their hate aside for their fathers and still find justice for their friend? Will they learn that sometimes our feelings are justified and sometimes they aren’t?
Wow, this was one incredible read and an absolutely stunning conclusion to Bridge and Emma's tale. You must read this series in its entirety and from the beginning. So, if you haven't yet, snatch up the prequel and get started. You will not regret it, I promise. This couple's story has really taken us on quite a journey of raw emotions, jaw-dropping twists, electric chemistry, razor-taut tension, nail-biting suspense, edge-of-your-seat drama, seductive steam, deadly secrets, exciting thrills and pulse-thumping danger. I'm sad to say goodbye but boy, did I love every single minute of it!! I am freely posting a frank review.
The perfect ending to the perfect trilogy of a perfect series! This book wrapped up everything and yet I still am so invested in this group. I want to know more. I’m not ready to leave.
It breathes intrigue, mystery, major surprises and twists, volcanic like heat, love, tears and desire. Seriously, what more could you want?
Watching Bridge and Emma evolve and grow touched my heart in unimaginable ways. I read this in one sitting and didn’t want it to end. I think I should say thanks Nana but really I’m not sure because I want more!
I’m hoping we get more from the tribe because I love them so much.
Intense, suspenseful and full of drama, Broken Bridge is a whirlwind of a read.
With all the deeply buried secrets and skeletons finally coming to light, this epic conclusion to not only Bridge and Emma's story but the entire London Lord and Toby's death plotline is like the final and steepest drop of a rollercoaster. After spending so long with and being fully captivated by the London Lords (and Winston Isles) gang, it's almost impossible to believe this is the end and Toby has finally been avenged and laid to rest.
And what an epic nine-book series it has been. While it would be advantageous to start right back at the beginning with Ben Covington’s Trilogy, read through East Hale’s books and hit the ground running with this, Bridge Edgerton’s series, you could just start with Bridge’s Prequel, BRIDGE OF LOVE ❤ I know that it all sounds like an epic journey, and it really is, but I can assure you that it is a completely worth the time investment and you really need to have at least read the prequel and first two books of Bridge’s trilogy to understand what is going on.
BROKEN BRIDGE picked up where the cliffy in BRIDGE OF LIES left off, and before you squawk over the word ‘cliffy’ let me just clarify, that while I haaaaaaaaates cliff-hangers in books, Author Nana Malone is one I will always, ALWAYS make an exception for. Her stories really are too full on to be told in just one lone book and she typically writes in duets, with this series of trilogies being the exceptions.
Wow, Ms Malone really has left the best for last, and I do say that each time. I loved the broody and sexy Bridge and his feisty Emma. He might work to control the situations and the people he loves in an effort to keep them safe, but this was always going to backfire on him. Now we see the lengths he really will go to in order to ensure their safety and avenge the death of his friend Toby, Emma’s older brother.
I have absolutely no idea how Ms Malone keeps her books and her plots fresh and fast moving, because they really are addictive reading and impossible to put down, especially when a nine book reading investment all comes down to this stunning conclusion.
One thing I have also loved all the way through was the guest appearances of the much loved crew from the Winston Isles. They have become like much loved friends and I also hope we get so see more from our London Lords.
Kudos to Author Nana Malone for putting together this epic series and I have absolutely loved every 5-Star reading moment that I’ve spent with them. Farewell until next time ❤♚❤
A befitting end to the series. Emma and Bridge have been driving me crazy since the beginning of the series and this book was no less nerve wrecking.
Everyone's life is at stake and Bridge finally accepting everyone as family and opening up was heartwarming. As Emma & Bridge's love grow stronger and develop a deeper bond you cannot help but love them and everyone around them.
With every puzzle piece being solved your mind is blown. I was totally devasted by the death it was a shock and I literally shed tears. This was an emotional read for me.
As every secret is revealed the story got intriguing and by the end I was content with the series. I read every single book in the series in one sitting.
I hope we get to see all the couple's in future books. A series I would absolutely recommend to everyone who loves angst, suspense, drama, murder mystery, marriage of convenience, second chances and Billionaire Alpha hero and a sassy heroin.
Thanks to Valentine promotions and the author for an advanced copy for an honest review 😊.
How do you put into words all of the emotions you are feeling for not only the couple in this trilogy or the entire London Lords and Winston Isle gang???
I don't even know how to start this review without giving some of the story away. This is the awesome, jaw-dropping conclusion to Bridge and Emma's story. Boy, what a story it is too. There is just so much happening that if I say too much I will be giving away part of the story and I don't want to do that.
Just let it be known that Bridge and Emma plan on getting the revenge they are owed for Toby's death. The Elite try to keep them from letting any of this story out but they will do what they need to at this point to have it all done and over with. Sure they should be safe and careful, but they are done with all of that.
If you have not read any of this story then I suggest you get the prequel and get moving as you won't want to miss a moment of it.
This one was a bit up and down for me. But in the end I couldn't not give the rating I have, as the suspense and tying up of loose ends was just that jaw dropping. Honestly I don't know how to process/what to feel about 'that thing', but I will recommend that you arm yourself with tequila and tissues to read the conclusion of this thrilling trilogy. I'm going to leave my review here as I don't want to give anything away. I'll just say that you'll finish this book broken but content. (It'll make sense once you've read)
What an amazing adventure and final story to this series. Bridge and Emma have been through so much, along with all their families , who are there for them whenever needed. Yet there is still someone or some people out there trying to find and hurt some of them. You are going to be shocked, and just totally surprised at some of the revelations you will find out. Totally awesome story. Loved it.❤️
Gah, I find myself happy with the ending but sad that we won't be focusing on Bridge and Emma anymore. I think next to Penny and Sebastian, Bride and Emma have been my favorite couple. Maybe it is because everyone else is already paired off. Bridge and Emma sizzle together. I am glad that the retribution for Toby can finally be put to rest but this story has some sad with the good. Such a great read. I will patiently wait to see whose story is next and for my favorite glimpses of TWI and the Elite.
Emma, Bridge and co. are back, determined more than ever to finally take down the Elite, take down the person who killed Toby. But first, Emma has got to get herself and Bridge's sister out of the little mess they've found themselves in, then come home and deal with who she knows will be a very, very upset Bridge. True to form, though, Emma's got this. But when she gets home, will Bridge ever forgive her?
Bridge and Emma may have started off as a convenience, with a fake marriage, but fake didn't stay fake for long, if it ever was fake, and now the two are settled into their feelings. But are those feelings enough to keep Bridge from being so angry at his love that he drives her away? Will the darkness that's living inside him take over and really drive Emma from him?
Damn...this conclusion was fire! Emma and Bridge are now one of my favorite Nana couples. She's feisty af, doesn't let her very alpha hubs boss her around one bit, and it drives him mad even as he loves her independence and sass. He sometimes forgets that the whole reason they embarked on this journey is because she wanted to find who killed HER brother, and that means she's not about to allow the crew to do things without her, make decisions without her input on how to take down Middleton. And amid all the anger, all the action, Emma and Bridge are growing closer and closer and I loved every page. I wasn't expecting one of the twists, and it hurt, I will fully admit. But by the end, I was so happy that the whole crew took the steps they took, and that my couple had the happy ever after they did.
The third book in this trilogy gives the series and the characters the perfect ending. Often in a conclusion book the action peters out but not with this series it gave more and answered all those burning questions I had.
The storyline and the love story between Bridge and Emma has evolved over the three books. Intrigue and mystery are at the heart of this story with events that stole my breath and twists that kept me guessing. I enjoyed the way that Bridge and Emma's relationship was interwoven with the danger, you don't feel that any aspect suffered. The passion and heat between Bridge and Emma was strong even when she challenged and defied him. I particularly liked seeing just how much he loved her so many times it can be glossed over but Nana gave us it all. The conclusion of the series left me satisfied and happy even though I didn't want it to be over.
Broken Bridge by Nana Malone is book Three in the Speak No Evil Trilogy. This continues the story of Emma Varma and Bridge Edgerton. There are Three previous books: Bridge of Love, London Bridge and Bridge of Lies that you should read before starting this one. In addition this is a spin off of the series 'See No Evil Trilogy' but you don't have to have read that Trilogy to understand this Trilogy. This book does pick up where we left off. We start fully getting the involvement of Emma and Bridge along with what had happened. This Trilogy was so good and it kept me turning the pages just liker Ms. Malone previous books.
Although Emma and Bridge may have been brought together by their mutual need to get justice for her brother, they were destined to be together. She challenges him like no other and isn’t about to stand by and be protected while he takes on all the risks which he not only admires but infuriates him as well.
Emma, Bridge and all the gang are back stronger than ever as they take us on a suspenseful, surprising and action-packed journey as they search for the answers that they all need. The chemistry burns hotter, the emotions are stronger and the love deeper as Emma and Bridge’s story as well as the series ends in a way you won’t soon forget.
This is an entertaining conclusion to the Speak No Evil Trilogy. I loved it! You have to read this series in order. This trilogy is interconnected with See No Evil Trilogy, (Ben and Olivia's story), and Hear No Evil Trilogy (East and Nyla). I loved Bridge and Emma's story. The cast of supporting characters is impressive! The storyline is action packed, very suspenseful, and captivating, filled with unpredictable twists and turns. The world building is complex and enthralling. This saga is amazing, and the conclusion is perfectly perfect! I enjoyed it!
Nana Malone packed the conclusion to this fabulous series with suspense, thrills, heartbreak and poignant moments! Each time the London Lords uncovered a clue, it seemed like several more mysteries sprouted up until a few key pieces fell into place helping them to complete the puzzle. This book brought all of the key players together, along with some of our peripheral friends from the Winston Isles, to give us a satisfying end! I can't go any further into details for fear of revealing too much!
Bridge and Emma’s story continues where it left off in the last book with a ton of action. This is a really emotional ending to this trilogy. The title fits it perfectly. His inner self really comes out. Emma on the other hand is still stubborn and impulsive as ever. Thank God she had a lot of training. They still butt heads all the time, but they are so deeply in love. This book ihas a lot of emotion in it. You’ll feel every bit of it. So much happens in this book, but it all comes together beautifully. The ending is epic!! Kudos to Nana Malone for being such a wonderful writer, and holding the attention of her readers.
Sigh... try as I might, I could NOT get the story to be longer. I was not ready for the story of the London Lords to be over. I kept trying to swipe to another page on my kindle refusing to believe the story was at an end. The drama and danger (and sexy times) continued in this conclusion to the Speak No Evil Trilogy, with me becoming even more entranced with the characters. I have to believe we will somehow see more of these characters as they pave a new path for the Elite... and those Winston Isle characters we so love. More, please, Nana Malone!!
I will start this by saying, Nana Malone is just wrong for what she did in this book! She knows what she did. She’s always got to kill us with big moments in each book. I feel like I was sitting on pins and needles the entire time I was reading this story. The twists, the turns, the suspense was off the charts. Of course you can’t have a Nana Malone book without there being those excellent moments of steam. Usually I would mention the continued growth of the couple, but this was so much more. It was continued growth of their entire group. Also I absolutely love Bridge’s mom!! Her character is brilliant! Best mother I’ve ever seen written. Every time she had a scene, I knew I’d be laughing. This book was yet another killer read, and the perfect addition to the series. I loved it and all these characters, a must read for sure!
Fantastic ending to an amazing series! With the many surprises, twists and turns you get a great story! Just like the first two books in this series, you never know what will happen. It kept me on the edge of my seat! It was so worth the wait! Speak No Evil was the perfect trilogy! I can’t wait to see what Nana has in store for us next!
Gah!!! Forget Bridge I’m girlcrushing all over Emma!!! Her feistiness, strength, love for her family and friends….my husband won’t mind…😉 I seriously loved everything about this book though. The inner thoughts and struggles of Bridge that we get to see as well as the convoluted web of lies the Elite had was crazy!! Oh and let’s not forget the heart palpitations those steamy, seggsy love scenes gave me!! Hhhhooooottttt!!!!! My heart was broken towards the end though. No spoilers but I was sad to see it happen…..(see what I did there?! Now you want to go read it to see what I’m talking about 😉) Bridge and Emma do get their HEA and finally get back to some normalcy in their lives. Fingers crossed we get to see the new recruits get their stories told too!!
At last, at last! It's all about family in the final installment of this trilogy. I had lots of expectations for this one. It's the conclusion of the latest trilogy as well as the final piece to the previous two series. It really didn't disappoint. It's full of non-stop action and intrigue. So many twists and turns as the story evolves. I pretty much did nothing the day I read this as I couldn't put it down. All the loose ends were tied up nicely with a fantastic ending. I received an advance copy and am voluntarily leaving a review.
OMG, Nana Malone, that was such a GREAT ending to this trilogy. The secrets, lies and hidden truths. The guilt and madness. Dang, I could not put this book down. Books one and two were good, but this one blew it out of the water. i haven't read a book this good or this consuming in years. Every time I had to put it down to go somewhere or do something, I felt like a crack addict having withdrawals until I could pick it up again and continue reading. Well done!!!!!
What a fantastic ending of a series. So many twists and turns and surprises. This series had me hooked from the first chapter in book one and never let go. I could not put it down. Anxiously awaiting each new book. Never knowing what was going to happen is what had me glued to every word. So worth the wait. Everything tied together, questions all answered by the end. A perfect trilogy written by an awesome author.
