I'm going to be a little selfish here and recommend you save yourself $100 and don't buy this book. Instead go buy yourself a copy of Think and Grow Rich or even better, get a free copy online because if you want to achieve success then that's the best book in the world.
David's book on greatness is a dangerous book for everyone to have because if everyone reads, learns and apply it with all their hearts then there will be too many people not only achieving success but true greatness as well.
If it wasn't for targeted marketing I don't think I ever would have come across this book or know who David Cook is.
For many people a book that is priced at $100 is insanity. It would have to be made with real leather and have the best paper in the world to pay for a book with that price.
David Cook begins the book trailer by asking you if you would pay $100 for this book? Upon seeing the title of the book which is greatness. And the Beautiful white dust jacket with the small title and no cover image, it caught my attention.

A great book on how to define and approach success whether you are in sports, business, or just how to approach your personal life. Dr. Cook defines what it takes to be great and what drives people to greatness. This is a book that goes beyond goals and helps define outcomes and how to achieve.
For those who may be agnostic or atheist, skip the sealed chapter. I respect everyone's faith and journey but, this might not be for you. However, the rest of the book is pure advice that will help anyone who applies it.
Not a fan of a book that’s final words are about how to buy more copies of the book. Especially when priced at $100 for okay life advice and repetitive sport stories.
The author goes out of his way to seal a portion of the book and write a warning about reading at your own risk, just for the sealed section to say “god” is the answer to greatness. Certainly not groundbreaking.
There was some fine advice throughout but in general, skip.
