An exciting story with a pleasant narration.

It's really interesting to read about how a medical doctor can work with the FBI in finding and understanding clues that might help to elucidate a crime and catch a killer. This role is fulfilled by Morgan Stark, who has been suspended from his medical practice for a violation of patient confidentiality, which he did to help the FBI. He is now back to work on a training basis with the FBI, and analyzing the possibility of joining the Bureau. His help leads to the culprit but it's more than his deductive capabilities that will be needed...Too Close has a great plot and good, rounded characters.

I absolutely LOVED this book!! I think I finished it in less than 2 days!! I could not put it down!! I am cleaning & listening to it & I am driving, showering & waiting for doctor appts all while listening to this book!!! I was riding my mobility scooter through Sam’s doing my shopping listening to the book, I was definitely not paying attention to the people around me cause I was too engrossed in this book!! Ms. Rylie Dark continues to belt out smashing good reads one right after the other!! Please Don’t Stop!!! My partner says I’m an addict about these Morgan Stark thrillers & I guess I am. But this is new, it’s not the typical alphabet agency or local detective chasing down a serial killer & it’s not Scarpetta & the way she gleans information from the bodies of the dead. This is an entirely new genre, at least for me. And I LOVE IT!!! I totally recommend that you read the Morgan Stark series by Rylie Dark. Right now there are only 3 books, which makes me sad, but fingers crossed that there’s more to come!!! Read! This! Book! I promise you’ll be hooked too, & then when there’s a bunch of us addicted to The Morgan Stark Series, we can form our own “support” group, to discuss what our favorite parts are & those kind of things & anything else we can come up with!! Maybe we can even get Ms. Dark to come online to our “support” group!! Okay I’m going to listen to book 3! Y’all please read this book!! You Will Not Regret It!!!

I loved this story. Dr. Stark is helping the FBI search for a serial killer in his own unique way. He's smart, he's fun, and yes he has flaws and baggage but that is what makes him human and so very likable. This is a new author for me and I can't wait to read the next in this series.

An interesting possible change of career, Dr. Morgan Stark suspended from the hospital has found that he is value as a consultant to the FBI. His eye for detail and problem solving has stopped a serial killer. The book is well written and keeps you turning pages. It is a hard one to put down, you want to see what the next clue will be and were it will take the story.
