This collection of poetry is a variety of raw and passionate pieces touching on many subjects. Beautifully deep and at times heartbreaking, both vulnerability and strength bleed through the words on each page. One thing I love about poetry is a writer's ability to expose such raw emotion. I love the fearlessness of work like this. Just beautiful.

“The first time I wrote a feeling down
was with maroon paste;
I let my quivering finger-quill linger
in the bloody sludge ink.
I wrote on to a broken mirror,
“Please kill me.”

Always raw and honest. Sometimes frighteningly so. A very powerful collaboration.
