I'll just dump some quotes/meaningful words that I got from this volume. Each volume is so special. I learn a lot from the story.

- But human beings, no matter how bad and no matter how successful they are, they can't survive alone.

- You didn't really want to die. It was just that all you could see ahead of you in life was darkness. You wanted somebody to tell you that it was okay to keep living.

- I get it now. I just wanted to be happy.

- Nobody has the right to determine if somebody else lives or dies. Only you know the right answer for you.

This manga always reminds of my cat. I named him after Sachi because it means happiness and his existence in our family is pure happiness. Sadly he passed away last year. You will always be in my heart Sachi also known as Shishu the cat.

Postać w masce... Spojrzałam na niego inaczej po tym jak opowiedział swoją historię... W końcu wiadomo ile ma lat i jak go nazywano! Historia bardzo smutna, stracił najbliższą osobę ale zauważył to dopiero gdy było za późno...

Awalnya aku nggak suka karena tokoh Xxx yang kelewat ngeselin. Tapi seiring waktu terus membacanya, nggak ku sangka bakal nikmati buku ini. Drama yg dibalut dengan keputusasaan serta harapan, antara kriminalitas juga kedamaian disajikan semakin mantap.

Buku dibuka dengan seorang bayi dikolong jembatan yg dipungut oleh seorang tunawisma. Bayi itu diberi nama Haru, ia pun hidup tenda-tenda tepian sungai. Haru enggan menyebut orang yg mengasuhnya sebagai 'ayah', ia selalu memanggilnya 'oom'. Hal yg akan sangat ia sesali nantinya.

Volume ini sangat pilu untukku, kisah masa silam Haru begitu menyentuh, sebab dirinya hanya ingin bahagia. Sampai sekarang aku penasaran kenapa mendadak si oom berubah sikap saat Haru bisa memperjuangkan semuanya.

One Room of Happiness kini jadi buku yg ku tunggu kelanjutannya, soalnya masih kepo sama mukanya si Haru. Di Indonesia baru terbit 8 volume, yg mana volume selanjutnya belum terbit bikin aku gundah & nggak sabar buat baca kelanjutannya. Semoga segera rilis, Please.

This volume really blend everything together nicely. I adored the insight to Misters life, and to know more about his past and family. Haru really follows his dad's footsteps with helping the lost ones. And yes, it broke my heart to know that he did not have the courage to say "dad" to him even once. And the death is still kind of a mystery in my eyes.

If we just shift the focus to Sachi... my heart is with her. Poor girl. And to (kinda) end the episode with "The first day I was able to smile naturally"... UUUU 🤧😫💔

Volume 9 is out on crunchyroll. BUT. Its only one chapter.. I can't wait to read this last volume.

This volume!! It was a whole roller-coaster of emotions. I wasn't ready to go from sad to happy then worried again.

So many meaningful and perhaps eye opening quotes in this volume. (That i didn't note any because it was so addictive to read.)

I'm glad we finally got to know ML's backstory. With every volume, we get to learn more about the characters. I really like the detectives as well. They already have such big impact on the story and our lead characters' developments.

I also realized I got attached to the characters and I really hope the series ends on a happy note. Please ! They deserve this happiness they crave for.

guess who finally found a way to read this series again after such a long time of not being able to and missing it!!!! \(^0^)/

this series is just such a comfort to me, it envelops me like a warm little blanket amidst my turmoil with just its own turmoil, though i am noticing the volumes are definitely getting happier. :) i just eat it up, it feels so personal lol.

anyway i cant believe onii-san has a name now what a development

so yeah i just love love love this series so much and i bumped up all my ratings of all volumes of it up until now to 5 stars and i added it to my favorites list yayyyy

i love this story so much!! <333 i know it’s not “normal” to fall in love with your kidnapper but i hope that they become a couple. We still don’t know his age because he said so himself so don’t start saying that it’s illegal and stuff because anyone can fall in love with whoever they want😤 I hope you start making more volumes😸 i really enough reading this manga \(//∇//)\

I'm sobbing my eyes out right now.. this series started a bit weird for me but it has gotten SO SOO MUCH BETTER. You just need to trust the story progression 😭😭
