Well, I read this before the adaptation releases and I do think Prime will do a good job with it, since it’s very in line with other wattpad-esque stories of them.

Being French but mostly only reading in English since being back in the US for the past 10 years, I was super excited to see French authors finally get their moment to shine with adaptations.

I was a bit weary of the cringe factor of reading spice in French and I fear, it was in fact a bit cringey and simplistic.

It had that similar back and forth, constant break up / I love you storyline as the After series, but with lower stakes until it just all comes to a head at the last 10%

I still had a good time and can’t wait to watch the movie!
