In Too Deep

Willow Point #4

by Lynn Hagen

Pulling an innocent man into the danger Khari was running from wasn’t his first choice. He’d tried his best to keep Ridge at arm’s length, but the bear shifter wasn’t having it. Homeless, on the run, and terrified, Khari accepted Ridge’s offer for menial labor, something that would put money in his pocket. What Khari hadn’t expected when meeting the guy was the fierce attraction. Yet, Khari held back, unsure who he could trust when his life was in such jeopardy. After losing his beloved sister, Ridge worked for the Ultionem. But it left a dark mark on his soul. That wasn’t who he was and went against his gentle nature. Until a slip of a demon approached him one night for food. Khari was guarded, afraid, and Ridge’s mate. Now Ridge would do anything to keep Khari safe, even go back to being a killer to grind the enemy into dust.

This book was fantastic. I loved it. The characters were well depicted and their personalities were so expressive. I could practically feel everything they were feeling. It was intense in some parts but yet so sweet and precious in other parts. Oh and sexy too. I'm going to read this whole series. It was simply excellent!

Did anybody else also notice that Grey vanished from the fight in Remtin mid fighting scene? He got there with the others in chapter 9 and bam in the next Ridge is the only shifter there.

And what did I forget about demon genetics, weren't they invisible in direct sunlight or something like that?
