As writers, we pour our hearts and souls into crafting stories—but what happens to those stories after we're gone? M.L. Ronn’s The Author Estate Handbook is an unexpectedly essential guide for any author who wants their work to outlive them. With clarity and compassion, Ronn demystifies the often-overlooked world of estate planning for creatives, offering practical steps to protect our intellectual legacy. I found this book not only informative but indispensable. It’s earned a permanent spot on my reference shelf as I continue to build my writing career with the long view in mind.

Loved The Author Estate Habdbook book. As a person who worked in probate for two and a half years, I thought I had covered all areas of my estate planning. Not until I read this down-to-earth, straighforward book did I realize how many areas I had not covered, especially as an author. This is a book that every author needs to read.

Author estates are just as much work as the rest of indie publishing, sigh.

As an author, I was eager to find a book that would help me on the legal side of protecting my manuscript, passing the rights on to my children, and more. I have followed Michael on youtube off and on so was thrilled to find out he had published a book. He covered even more topics that I was expecting. And this is the type of book to keep on hand for reference. I highly recommend it.

A good read that addresses that necessary evil for authors-estate planning. I learned that it's way more complicated than simply making a will and designating an executor. Daunting when taken as a whole, but Ronn gives action plans and step-by-step instructions for dealing with all the issues of a modern day author.

Easy to read, concise, this book seems to have good and useful information. Now all I need to do is act on it.
