When many Christians think about the second coming of Jesus, they imagine apocalyptic disaster, fear and terror, and world-collapse.
But what if the second coming was more like a wedding than a catastrophe? If Jesus is returning as the Bridegroom, shouldn't His Bride—the Church—focus more on deepening their commitment to Him than on comparing global events to last-days timelines?

This book is a must read for Christians who are seeking impact the world the Kingdom. He is soon to return. This book will embolden a fire in you that may have dwindled or gone dormant.
Overall this is a good book. I love his transparency in the beginning of the book. I definitely enjoyed it. I do wish it went deeper though! The only things I'd change, is the fact that the the Kindle version will only let it work sideways, which I'm not a fan of, and there's definitely some typos throughout. Not a big deal, and obviously doesn't change the message, but annoying.
I love Jeremiah’s heart for the Bride. This book should inspire you to pursue the Lord Jesus. Jeremiah lays out his heart on the matter of consecrating yourself to be the bride to our bridegroom king, and gives warnings and examples of doing the contrary. He is coming back, and the bride must make herself ready!
While I'm not in agreement with every single word that Jeremiah Johnson says in this book, on the while I think his message is spot on. We who love the Lord and are seeking His face ought to listen to Jeremiah Johnson and go all in for the Lord, becoming His consecrated Bride!
Jeremiah is consistently direct, pointed and passionate about the consecration of the church and believers. He is one of a very few prophetic voices willing to challenge the religious, performance, and consumer-driven trendiness of many churches. This book is worth reading for the last chapter as it identifies current demonic strategies and what our response should be.
