The Sheriff Rides Again
I cannot say much about "The Sheriff 4" because I believe it is the author's responsibility to provide a synopsis, not the reviewer's. This book, like the others in the Sheriff's post-apocalyptic world, as well as the others in M. R. Forbes' Forbidden Universe, are well-written and well-edited. The story is fast-paced, the characters are realistic, and the dialog is believable. His is one series I enjoy binge reading.

Best series of all time
I am a retired Marine/Navy veteran and I am 76 years as of April 29, 2023. I have read more SiFi books than I can remember. The Sheriff is the best series I have ever read. God bless you and may you never stop writing long as you live.

exciting journey through post apocalypse america
I like reading the Sheriff stories. They are highly imaginative and I like how the Sheriff has a solid reputation and good friends. He fight aliens and bad guys, and has remarkable healing powers. The transformed world is like Mad Max’s world. Truly frightening yet hopeful.

Absolutely my favorite series and main character. You can't help but want to be a better person after reading about Hayden's adventures. Forbes does a great job tying up the story but still leaving plenty of things open

Love riding with Sheriff Duke
Great adventure story, but you will be lost if you haven’t been along for the whole ride. It’s dark, violent and brutal at times, but there is always hope when the Sheriff’s around.

Another book found hard to put down
This one had a few sketchy spots where it felt like it was losing it's theme or at least struggling to maintain it.
But I still enjoyed reading it!

The saga continues, and the Sheriff doesn't disappoint.
The Sheriff always brings the best in people, and turns advisories in to allies at every turn. This is a book well worth the read.

Excellent Read
The four I have read were excellent reads, transitioning well from one to the other.
I am looking forward to more Sheriff books, and, because of them, will read more M. R. Forbes books.

Old friends new friends
This was a qwerky new storyline. I loved Jack and especially tabby. New faceless villains lol. I can't wait for the next book. A really good read.
