He’s a bad boy that wants me good.

His crew showed up in Whiskey Run and has the whole town buzzing.
We’ve been warned about the bikers and how they’re probably up to no good.
But Jason is so handsome, and he seems sweet to me.
At least he has a sweet tooth that has him coming into the bakery every day.
He’s always looking out for me.
He saved my chocolate pie from burning.
He saved me from an ex-boyfriend
And when a fire breaks out on my mountain, he will do whatever it takes to get to me.
I swear if he’s a bad boy… I don’t want him to be good.

Overall this book is a miss for this author. Sometimes she writes a great short instalove and sometimes, well, she doesn’t. This story was just too choppy and lacked detail and overall needed a good revision. The sentences were so simple it was like reading something written by a child.
Also the hero was the most beta, hesitant and lame MC character I’ve ever read. I mean, he beats up her ex boyfriend but other than that he’s very tame. Don’t MC characters usually have road names? This guy goes by Jason, the least badass name ever.
The heroine was a caricature, there was nothing to her, she was just curvy I guess. And I dunno if the author is introducing a new group of characters with the Guardians MC but it did not interest me at all. This club is a cover for a mercenary group that was formed to ‘help people’. That’s it, that’s the full explanation or mission statement of the group. Ugh, I think this whole story was badly executed and not worth reading.

Unpleasant…
Not for me, sorry
A really unnecessary and disgusting OW drama with a club wh… it’s not romantic to live around women who were fucking with your man and can describe his piercing, I don’t understand this shit in romance books… He never said anything to that woman!
Sometimes I run from unknown authors and come to my safe authors, I guess I was wrong with this one…
Didn’t like him or her, the worst of the series and I’m not interested in this MC Club , I’m a little tired of that and honestly in my country it’s beyond ridiculous…

Typical MC.

I just can’t help it. I never can deal with the club girl (or “cherries” as they’re called here) and manwhore club members. It just turns me off of the characters.

The series coming up tied to this one might be the first Hope Ford series I skip. Not really her fault, just MCs are not for me.

Jason’s whole MC has moved to Tara’s town a few weeks ago. Since meeting her, he’s all in. Tara is resistant to anything with him at the beginning, worried that she’ll end up hurt, but he’s not going to give up. Then Tara accepts to go out with him, and from there they start to know each other and fall in love.

Details:
- Neither virgins.
- OW drama with the cherries (one says to h “he’s good, right?” Or something like that but it’s not confirmed if he was with her before h; and the other is confirmed that he had sex with her but it was before moving to h’s town). OM drama with her ex (he cheated and she broke up with him but he’s not leaving her alone). Sorry to say that because OW, I didn’t like the book as much, one of my pet peeves.
- H ex-military, biker, and works in the MC’s bike shop. h works in a bakery.
- Epilogue a few months later.

Who doesn't love some bad boy lovin

Bad Boy Love is the fourth book in the Whiskey Run: Sugar and is the story of Jason and Tara. She is as sweet as the sugary treats she sells at the Sugar Glaze Bakery and he has a reputation before he even earned it. These two are a perfect fit as they both fall for each the opposite of what you would think, at least on appearances. But it is what is inside that counts and once Jason wins Tara's heart he will always protect it and never let it go.
This book also introduces the Guardians MC to the town of Whiskey Grove.....and you know that means another spin-off series with some smexy hot bikers with hearts of gold.

Jason is new to town having moved with The Guardians MC. From his first trip to the bakery where Tara works, he’s been hooked and knows she’s his. Tara is getting over a bad relationship and can’t trust her feeling towards Jason and therefore makes him work to show her that she can trust him and he will protect her. An engaging quick read as part of this Whiskey Run Sugar series. Jason is protective over Tara and stands up for what he wants. Tara is learning to trust again and enjoy someone looking out for her. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I really like Hope Ford and her books are always enjoyable. This one was kind of boring. Tara was really indecisive about her feelings for Jason. And while Jason was great, he wasn't the OTT alpha hero I've come to expect from this author or this series. Even the ending was a little much. A fast read with some steam but not my favorite from this author.

Jason is new to Whiskey Run and a member of the Guardians MC and Tara works at the local bakery he frequents. I loved the way Jason kept going to the bakery after meeting Tara and how protective he was of her. I am loving this series and all the characters we meet in each of the books. The writing is well done, the characters are well developed, and the ending is perfect. I look forward to reading more books in the Whiskey Run series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

My reviews always contain spoilers, I write them so I can remember the story.

Jason is a member of the Guardian MC they have moved from Texas to Tennessee , you later find out they work with Walker and his mercenaries helping people. Tara works for Emery at Sugar Glaze Bakery and has caught Jason’s eye. He is quite persistent in his efforts to get her to go out with him. Tara was burned by her cheating, lying, thieving ex and worries a motorcycle gang member would be no better. But Jason is not like that and he does wear her down, she accepts his invitation for a date, when her ex says some rude things as they are leaving the restaurant Jason punches him and they scuffle. The police show up and arrest them both. Walker helps get Jason out of jail and the Guardian president is pissed and tells him to lay low. Tara comes to check on him and ends up staying for the club party. They have their first time together, the next morning she’s trying to sneak out when a few of the MC brothers see her and a club girl comments on how “good” Jason is. She hurt by the comment which scares her a little, she’s falling way to fast and knows she’s going to get hurt. Jason catches her and claims her as his ol’ lady. A club girl shows up at the bakery and tells her Jason is hers and he’s just playing around with her. (Seemed like it was a different club girl from the one who commented in the morning. This one describes Jason’s penis piercing.) Tara is very hurt, she takes a break and heads outside for a bit. Sobbing she doesn’t realize that someone sat next to her until her ex asks if she’s ok. He wants her back and when she says no he tells her no one can have her if he can’t. Jason shows up and tries to explain the club girls, yes he was with her but it was a long time ago, before he met Tara. She’s not happy but does believe him and asks him for some time. At her house she notices flames and realizes the woods surrounding her house are on fire, and someone has taken the battery out of her car. She calls 911 and tries to save her house, when she knows she can’t she calls Jason to tell him she loves him. He wants to come help her but she says that suicidal and won’t give him her address. Emery calls her and tells her to get on her roof, Walker and Jason are coming to rescue her. The helicopter in and save her, at the hospital they both say I love you and he tells her it was her ex that started the fire. Epilogue few months later with them moving out of the clubhouse back to her house and a pregnant woman showing up,setting up Diesel’s book, she is his ex girlfriend, but not ex by choice.
I did not like all the club girls Jason slept with being in Tara’s face. Plus they don’t use a condom, he says he’s clean but, seriously, yuck. She stays with him at the club while her house and land is made safe after the fire, do the club girls leave her alone now?

This is book four of the Whiskey Run: Sugar series and the main characters are Jason, a member of the Guardian’s MC club which has just recently moved from Texas to the small town of Whiskey Run, Tennessee and Tara, who works at the Sugar Glaze Bakery in town. Their president has told them to keep a low profile in the small town and to concentrate on their club’s businesses that are getting of the block. The club runs a custom motorcycle shop and is setting up a bar, across the street from the Walker estate. Their HQ is midway between Whiskey Run and Jasper and their actual work is truly hidden and must be kept a secret from all! Jason loves visiting the bakery for their sweet treats, but mainly so he can get a glimpse of Tara and a chance to talk to her as well. He usually goes down with a group of other bikers and that has reached the Pres and he isn’t happy! He is pulled in and told to stay out of town, but he refuses a direct order. All for Tara and the chance to see her!
Tara was cheated on and stolen from by her ex-Mark and isn’t really looking for another man, ever! But Jason’s protective presence in the bakery worried about her leaving late at night or going home in the dark is starting to wear her down. Some of the townsfolk have warned others about the bikers and say that they are bad news and up to no good. Most have no idea why they have come to this small town, nor actually met and spoken to any of them. Emery the bakery owner, tells Tara that she believed Jason to be a good man and that she should give him a chance. When he does ask her out, she refuses, saying isn’t interested in a relationship. But he can feel that she does like him and he is determined to make her his! When her ex turns up to hassle her and wanting her back, he steps in, but ends up arrested and in a bit of trouble. Luckily a fellow biker passes by and tells Tara that it will be dealt with and to go home. Jason does get out but stays at the club to give her a bit of space.
When he doesn’t turn up at the bakery, she takes herself and some baked goods there herself so she can see him. He lays claim to her in front of all the other bikers and their hanger-on’s, and they get steamy in his bare room. Her own home is her father’s home and is outside of town, up the mountain and she stays there to remind herself of her dad even if it is a bit of a trek to get to work. Another run in with her ex ends in a threatening promise of sorts but no violence between the two men. The next day Tara awakes at home to realise her home is on fire and grabs some clothes and shoes, to run out and get in her car and flee. Her car has been sabotaged and she has no way out, as the fire has already surrounded any escape from her location. She calls to say her goodbyes, but Jason isn’t ready to let her go and has others with skills and equipment he can use to help save her. He may have been bad in the past, but he will only be good, especially if he can have his woman in his life forever! A sweet and steamy instalove short story, with someone some look at as a bad boy, but who is actually doing good for others in secret meeting the woman who catches his heart at first glimpse. I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.

Love it!! I just couldn't put it down. Nice, quick read, Short and Sweet. With a wonderful HEA!!

Jason meets Tara when he's in Whiskey Run, he sees her walking across the street headed into Sugar Glazed Bakery, so he walk in to meet her. Jason is part of Guardian's MC! Jason comes into Sugar Glaze everyday to takes some of Tara's Strawberry Pie he says it's the best pie he's ever had. The Pres. of Guardian's MC finds out Jason is heading into town everyday with a few of his fellow brothers. The Pres. warns Jason to stay out of trouble, they are suppose to lay low when they came into town. So Jason starts to sneak into town without his fellow brothers just to get a slice of pie. Jason asks Tara out but she refuses, she can't start a relationship, she had a bad breakup and doesn't trust men right now. Jason stays out of town, not only because The Pres. asked him to but because he is hoping by staying away Tara will miss him. When Jason can't take it anymore he head into town to see Tara. Tara finally agrees to go out with him, so they have a date that night. Jason and Tara meet at the only bar in town, when Tara's ex-boyfriend, Mark, finds them. Mark isn't to happy that Tara is moving on so he makes some comments about Tara, which piss Jason right off. Mark and Jason get into a fist fight and end up going to jail. The Pres. isn't very happy that Jason has now landed himself in jail and is walking on very thin line. Tara takes some baked goods to the clubhouse to find out if Jason is alright. Jason ask Tara to come to the clubhouse with him that night. Tara isn't very happy when she walks into the clubhouse, moments later they are in Jason's room. When Tara does the walk of shame the next morning, she isn't very happy with the women sitting on the couch watching her. The woman makes a comment to Tara and Tara is outraged. When Jason catches up with Tara she makes the excuse she has to go to work. Later that day the same woman finds Tara to tell her Jason is his and Tara is just a plaything. Tara is heartbroken and head home. After a long bath Tara looks out her window to find the side of the mountain on fire. Tara tries to leave but can't someone took her battery out of her car. So Tara calls Jason to tell him she loves him, he wants to know where she live but she refuses to tell him. Emery calls Tara to tell her to get on the roof of her house. Jason and Walker come to save Tara a helicopter. They take Tara to the hospital, because she passes out. When she wakes up she is surrounded by all of her friends and Jason's friends too. After Tara's house is fixed, she asked Jason to move in with her. Jason tells her that is where he wants to be since he will be marry her soon.

Ahhh, nope, this wasn't it.
This started at 90%, went to100% in a chapter, and stayed there for the rest of the book.
It was so choppy and unrealistic.
We start with Tara, who we have had tit bits about from the last 3 books. She is strong and sassy, with a boyfriend we haven't heard bad or good things about. Just that she has been going on dates.
This book starts with her already broken up with her ex a few weeks prior and that she says it is ok.
But then a few chapters later says he stole from her, cheated on her, and treated her like crap. But there are no further details and none of her friends knew anything??
Jason and his MC buddies are new in town due to secret work with Walker. we apparently don't need to know details about (even in his POV).
Jason, as a typical biker, becomes obsessed with Tara out of nowhere. He comes in for weeks to the bakery to buy her strawberry pie and pastries for the club.
Finally, they go on a date, which is all fine till the end when her horrible ex shows up.
Now Tara keeps saying, "She isn't interested in guys," and "she doesn't want another relationship." Blah blah blah.
But the next day goes to the club, and within 2 minutes is asking to go to his room. Then she regrets it the next morning and feels that it's going to fast.. sorry, love, that is your fault he was happy to go slow for you, but you pushed for it to go that way, and even when you freaked out he agreed (again) to slow down and give you time.
Like 2 days later, we have an issue with a biker groupie ex, which plants doubt, and Tara again asks for space to sort through things.
A few HOURS later, and because her douche ex tries to kill her (extreme leap since we don't know much about him), she rings Jason and says, "I love you. ".. sorry, but WTF? That is a ridiculous leap for a 3-day relationship.
I'm all for insta love stories and short stories, but it doesn't have to be that ridiculous.
It could have just been "Jason there is a fire and I can't get out but I really like you and I'm sorry blah blah" we didn't need to leap to "I love yous" for no reason and the story would have still been fine.
I'm definitely not a fan of this one. This series started strong, but this one and the previous one have been really bad let downs like the author kind of gave up. They read like fan fic short stories.
Wouldn't bother with this even if you want a palate cleanse.

3.5⭐️⭐️⭐️

Style: Insta MC Romance
Story: 3.5/5
Enjoyment: 3.5/5
Dark Level: 0/5
Sexual Level: GOOD
Triggers: No
Violence: Yes (Mild)
Male: Biker & Sexy
Series: Book 4
Pages: loc. 959
Audio: N/A
Kindle Unlimited: Yes

STORY:
WHAT I LIKED:
This was a quickie insta MC romance based in the Whiskey/Jasper universe. I really liked Jason’s character. He really liked Tara and visited her in the bakery shop daily. Being new to town and a biker didn’t scare her, but more losing her heart to him and not getting her again. I like Jason’s possessiveness over Tara and the way he always thought of her and couldn’t get enough.

WHAT WAS SO SO:
It’s an insta, so it’s not major. It’s small, but I wish we saw how Jason handle the whole situation that had Tara, upset and jealous. The MC theme was good for an insta, but a few things were weak for an authentic MC theme. I still found myself liking both characters.

SEXUAL CHEMISTRY
I like the sex scene.

SECONDARY CHARACTERS:
We were introduced to new characters who will start the new series in the MC world. We saw the girls from previous books past, so it was nice seeing familiar faces.

OVERALL:
Was I entertained? Yes.
Did I like the story? Yes.
Would I read the other books in the series? Yes.

TRIGGERS:

NOTES: No cheating, No OW/OM

****I don’t equate these stories to real life. It’s about personal taste and what you would or want to tolerate with the books you read. I know we all have different opinions and preferences with what we read. I based my book reviews on my preferences and what I like, and while these preferences may not be the same for others, I hope this review was still helpful.

*spoilers* The Guardiabs MC moved from Texas to Whiskey Run Tennessee a few weeks ago. Jason immediately fell for Tara, who works at the local bakery. He even stands up to his Pres for her. Tara is wary and does not want to get involved in a relationship, because her ex did a number an her. But with his persistent and the connection they have he wares her down and they go out. He pummels her ex, when he insults her. But she is not freaked out and they get closer. Then she has doubts about moving too fast and getting hurt by Jason. Will he be able to show her that she is the one for him and save her when her ex escalates?
I think I read every story from Hope Ford and I am a fan. She has a way of reeling me in and getting me addicted to the story and transporting so mmany emotions. Her style is amazing and the feelings come over very sincere. Jason knows Tara is the one for him and he let not stand anybody in their way. After being in a bad relationship I could relate that Tara was wary and the bikers are new in town, she does not know what they are up to, but love just conquers the heart and all doubts. I am so excited fore more Guardian MC stories. They help people without taking credit for it, they are good guys, who are sometimes rough around the edges and use the MC as a cover for their rescue work Also I enjoyed how the stories interconnect with people who we met in the past. It certainly adds another layer, but it is not necessary to enjoy Tara and Jason'S story. Waiting fpr Diesel and Brandy's story now.

This is the fourth book in the Whiskey Run series each book reads as a standalone, but the characters are friends, and I would suggest reading each book in the series it is a really great series sweet and short. Tara works at the bakery with her friend’s making sweets is her passion so when a member from the Guardiabs MC walks in addicted to her sweets because he comes in every day just for a taste or is he coming for something more. Jason sexy as all get out biker took one look at Tara knew she would be his, knew his heart belonged to her, and even going against his president to protect her. Tara doesn’t want to get tangled up because of a past relationship hurts and scared to trust anyone again but the biker is so cute and he isn’t going to be ignored but every day he comes in with his sweet tooth and just to talk to her to convince her they belong together and the attraction is insane she is drawn to him and he to her but can he convince her to take another chance on love, take a chance on him, to give them a chance together, will he prove he will protect her keeping her safe, ensuring she feels loved and can Tara find happiness with her biker?.

welp, this was going so well until the ow drama. it was annoying how the ow made it seem like there was something going on between her and jayson. well, technically they had a thing before the motorcycle club move to this new town and this annoy the crap out of me, but that's a me thing. i don't need the reminder of the mmc with other women before he met the fmc.

as per jason's pov, the club members doesn't have any issues sharing women and they brought some women when they move to the new town. i think he implied that they are easy pussies. like gross dude!!

like i said this was good until that part. jason was persistent though it was cringey when he's calling her mama (cuz he said she'll be the mom of his kids) and tara didn't give in quickly. it was implied that he's been going to the bake shop for weeks and flirting with tara. but then when he finally asked her out she said no, then two days later she regretted rejecting him. then she finally agreed on the date and they do the deed.

overall, this was okay. would've rated this 3 stars but then the ow drama ruined it for me. i also don't know the purpose of her ex popping in the last part where he didn't contribute to anything.

The final book in the Whiskey Run: Sugar series didn't disappoint. I really enjoyed this one it may have been my favorite but it would be a close call.

This one starts the link with the Exiled Guardians MC who move to Whiskey Run and work with the Merceraires from Whiskey Run: Heroes. I really enjoyed all the ways these series link into each other. From the very first Whiskey Run series to now.

I really hope Hope Ford isn't done with the town of Whiskey Run yet. I would really like more.
.
.
.
Tara has broken up with her boyfriend who really was just a waste of time, it's clear to her she does not have good taste in men and the new man in town who seems interested seems like trouble.

Jason has become obsessed with the beautiful women at the bakery. Since his club moved to the area he hasn't been able to stay away even a day and it has nothing to do with the pastries on offer and everything to do with Tara.

Tara tries to keep Jason at arm's length she can't imagine anything good coming from a biker but she can't deny the pull she feels when he is close. Jason's President is also not keen on him making waves in the small town. For them to be able to do what they need they can't be ruffling feathers with the locals.

It seems as though Tara's ex isn't as quite done with her as she would hope and when she tries to get away from the drama from him a Jason she ends up in danger. When he finds out he'll do whatever he needs to get her to safety and make her his for good.
"Time I can give you. But one thing I guarantee is that nothing is going to come between us, Mama."

Happy Reading.

Tara had just broken up with her cheating ex and Jason had moved to Whiskey Run with his MC. As soon as he saw Tara in the bakery it was love at first sight. She was his future and he wasn’t going to give up on her no matter what! Tara was nervous and untrusting of men. When she gave in and went out with Jason it was amazing. He was sweet, loving and caring, their chemistry was fantastic and the steamy scenes hot, hot, hot!! The story disappointed me when a half naked woman as the clubhouse told Tara how good Jason was in bed and a woman visited her at work and described his penis in detail to her! I really hate that, it ruins the story for me. I don’t need descriptions of the hero or heroines previous intimate life in my reading, it really ruined a wonderful romance book. Without that I loved the story. I’m looking forward to the rest of the MC brothers meet their ol’lady!.

I knew just reading the first few pages this was going to be a dynamite read! The characters in this story jump off the pages and into your heart and it gives you a warm feeling seeing what is happening. You will enjoy the flirty ways of Jason. He isn’t going to give up on Tara. It’s a challenge, but he knows she is the one for him. Tara is bubbly, friendly, curvy and cautious after her last boyfriend. You can feel she wants to go out with Jason but she needs to know more about him. The characters just click - they had the “it” factor. You feel their energy, their attraction and their electric chemistry. The smoldering looks, the smiles and the little touches. The main characters make the story come to life - a little sugar and a lot of spice. They have the sizzle, the steam and the passion. It’s a heartwarming, fun, enjoyable and entertaining story. Fun characters.

I feel the same way about all 4 stories in this series - each of which is so short that I read all 4 in an evening. They are wonderful beginnings, with characters that I liked and was interested in from the outset. But sadly that promising beginning really went nowhere. While the brief arc that we spend with each character does have a beginning (mostly good, hooked me), a middle (very brief, and with potential for way more complex exploration of why these individuals are not communicating clearly, understanding the ways they are acting out old patterns or gender roles, etc) and an end (perfunctory, and way too conveniently happy given the lack of work done by the characters either on themselves or as a couple), what I really found these to be is a great start to potential full length novels. There is so much potential here. I wanted so badly to be able to go forth and read their real stories.

Strawberry Pie.
Awesome book. Jason goes to the bakery everyday just to see her. Sometimes they talk and others times he just watches her. He wants her to his everything and he won’t stop until she is. Tara is done with men after what her ex did to her. She can’t trust her own judgment anymore. She’s put to the test every time Jason shows up to see her. Eventually, Tara agrees to go on a date with him and everything goes great until jealousy and vengeful obsession enter the picture. When Tara’s life is threatened and she is trapped she calls Jason to say goodbye. Jason doesn’t know where she is but this is not how it ends. Will Jason find Tara before it’s too late? Not all biker’s are bad guys.

The fourth book of Hope Ford's Whiskey Run: Sugar series, Bad Boy Love is an entertaining, steamy and sweet instalove romance. The Guardians MC have recently relocated from Texas to Whiskey Run, TN, and the residents of the small town don't quite know what to make of the club yet. But when a bunch of the guys start making daily runs to the Sugar Glaze Bakery, the reason is anything but nefarious: member Jason is infatuated with Tara. After a bad breakup, Tara's instinct is to stay as far away from men as possible, but Jason's swoon-worthy persistence is making it difficult to keep him at arm's length.

A fun, fast-paced, steamy short romance, and a great segue into the upcoming Guardians MC spin-off series.

Hope Ford never fails to be a one-click for me and the latest instalment of this series is no different. I loved the slow development of trust from Tara (formerly in a caustic relationship with Mark). Tara — or Mama, has been badly burned before in the relationship front by a cheating ex and isn’t about to out her heart on the line with someone who is part of a biker club and Tara is (literally) almost burned again when she finally realizes she love her big bad biker. MC culture doesn’t play too heavily into this read so if you’re picking this series up for the first time it’s a mild dive in and Hope sprinkles in lots of impotent little details as you read that tie it all together. As always an excellent quick and dirty read.

Loved this one! Throughout this series, Tara has always been a bright, positive, supportive person who encouraged her friends/co-workers at the bakery to take a chance and follow their hearts. In this book, we see a far more vulnerable side of her as she tries to battle her attraction to Jason. She's been hurt before and worries that could happen again with Jason.

Jason is a member of the Guardian MC that recently took up roots in the small town of Whiskey Run, Tennessee. He knew Tara was the one for him instantly and wasn't shy about letting her know. He's patient, sweet, and ultra protective of her. I love them together because Jason's character compliments Tara's vibrancy so well.

Book 4 was just all around a great read: flirtatious, sugary sweetness with an undertone of suspense and danger.

Jason is a member of the Guardians MC and the whole club has just moved from Texas to Whiskey Run Tennessee. Jason meets Tara at the bakery in Whiskey Run and knows she is the woman for him. But it is hard for Tara to trust anyone after her break up with her lying stealing cheating ex. The problem is Tara's ex Mark does not want anyone else to have her either. What Mark does not realize is that Jason is a man who protects those he loves and he loves Tara. This is a nice fast paced action packed romance with a very intriguing story line. Great chemistry between Jason and Tara and lots of little twists to keep you reading. Loved this fast paced read.

This is book number 4 of the Whiskey Run: Sugar series and focuses on Jason and Tara. Tara works at the Sugar Glaze Bakery and Jason is a part of the Guardians MC that just moved into town. Jason knew right away that Tara was the one for him but it took him a few weeks to finally convince her to give him a chance. He is all in from the get go, but past hurts for her have her being a lot more cautious with their relationship. Thankfully, Jason was not about to give up his ol’ lady now that he had finally found her. This was a great addition to the series! This was a fantastic story to lead us into the Whiskey Run: Guardians MC series.

Once again Ms. Hope doesn't disappoint!

Jason's MC's, The Guardians, just packed up and moved everything from Texas and put down roots in Whiskey Run. They're still in the beginning stages, getting settled, preparing everything to get open. Jason found Sugar Glaze Bakery and Tara, who works there. Jason knows that Tara is his HEA (not that he'd ever say that lol) Tara's not too sure. Her ex-boyfriend not only cheated on her, but lied and stole as well! So Tara's not sure about men in general.

I definitely recommend this not-so-insta-love read lol It's got the sweet and the heat, plus some suspense thrown in! What more could you ask for?.

Jason moved to Whiskey Run with the Guardians MC. They were given orders to lay low as this small town would not fill comfortable with a bunch of bikers riding around town. When Jason sees Tara cross the street, he can't help but visit her daily at the bakery.

Tara has gotten out of a disastrous relationship, so dating again is not on her radar. Each day when the bakery is overtaken by the group of bikers, it is one that stands out and smiles.

Jason and Tara's story has a bit of drama as her ex is determined that he is the only one for her and turns dangerous as he is to make sure. I love the twist as you find out the relation between the MC and Walker's Ghost.

This was an exciting, fun book to read. Jason is part of an MC that just moved to town. Tara works at the bakery in town. From the moment Jason first saw Tara he knew that he loved her.
Tara just came out of a relationship when Jason started coming around. Jason openly flirts with Tara until he finally asks her out. At first, Tara turns him down but her resolve is weak. Ultimately, she agrees to go out with Jason.
Their relationship has some difficulties that they definitely need to take care of. The author has outdone herself with this book! It is definitely a MUST READ!.
