I betrayed the Demon King and now I’m paying the price.
I’ve been locked in the Demon King’s castle for weeks. He promised me I’d suffer and now I am. But when he shows up in my cell, a little drunk and still angry, he ends my punishment in the most wicked of ways.
But in the daylight, we still have our problems to face. I summoned Wrath’s brother to our world thinking he was going to help me. But Chaos wants one thing: the Demon King’s power, a power that I possess.
Everyone wants to use me to destroy the Demon King, but Wrath and I have always had a push-pull relationship and now I’m worried that if we can’t find common ground, our enemies will be the least of our worries. We might just destroy ourselves.
With an ancient power and a throne at stake, we have to set aside our differences or it might be the world that goes up in flames.
Nikki St. Crowe is a USA Today and No. 1 Amazon Bestselling Author specializing in dark, spicy romantasy where the villain gets the girl and the girl gets the power.
Nikki considers the start of her professional career to be in the 4th grade when she placed 2nd in a Young Author’s Competition. Back then she crafted stories about magical mansions and lost treasure. She’s since ditched the treasure hunts, but she'll never give up on the magical mansions (or the morally grey men who inhabit them).
These days, when Nikki isn’t writing or daydreaming about villains, she can either be found in the woods or at home with her husband and daughter.
Excellent ending to a fabulous series!!!! I have enjoyed this series from the very beginning! Wrath the demon king is fucking sinful !!! And one of my favorite villains of all time. He's so arrogant and self serving but his dark edge and good looks and bedroom skills are on point! Who doesn't love a demanding bad boy who puts you up against a wall and fucks your brains out! Sign me up! And Rain is such a smart mouthed bitch who knows how to get under wrath's skin and she won't back down or cow down to him! She's my hero! The chemistry between these two has been nuclear from the very beginning and their relationship has had a push pull and been full of heated words and loads of hot sweaty sex!! A few times I thought my kindle was gonna burst into flames! Holy shit! Nikki st. Crowe knows how to write a steamy hot sex scene and her characters are all unique and with many layers. But this isn't just a very spicy read. The storytelling is amazing and the storyline well plotted and each book flowed flawlessly together. Wrath and Rain's story just goes to show that even villains deserve and sometimes get a happy ending too. It just takes the right woman😁 until next time Luv's 💕💋
“I am a man fighting against the wind and you are a gale force, dieva. And I don’t like being powerless.” Wrath
“I may not know how to properly love you, dieva, but I do know how to fuck you. Wrath
When I started the series I was intrigued by the idea, but the writing style seem weak and repetitive. I feel like I forced myself through book 2, and eventually just completely lost my interest in #3.
I didn’t think I could dislike Rain more but this book proved me wrong. I didn’t like any of her action in the book. If i start I’ll rant so let’s stop there.
Wrath still is a sweetheart and I wish action sequences were a little epic AND the villains suffer.
Perfect ending to the trilogy. I enjoyed it as I did the other 2 and honestly my heart rate was up and down. I love when the FMC gets to be so powerful and the MMC finally sees and treats the power properly.
This concludes the story of Rain and Wrath. It came to the perfect end with the perfect ending quotes from the MMC. Swoon. I was not right about my thoughts I had at the end of the 2nd book but it was perfect for their story.
Nikki has become one of my favorite writers at this point. I wasn’t sure when I first started reading the books by Nikki but ultimately I enjoy that the books are short with perfect spice but have an actual story line behind them.
I can't believe it's the end of the Wrath and Rain trilogy.
I started off this trilogy unsure where the story was headed and when the second book came out, I was hooked. This is truly a book I would love to live in. The characters, the atmosphere, everything just makes this series lovable.
I think the pacing of this book good and Rain discovering how powerful she is was amazing. She transformed into a super bad ass FMC. Wrath is just as hot as ever and him struggling with excepting his feelings for Rain showed his more "humanish" side.
I am hoping that there will be novella's in the future because I do need more of Wrath and Rain.
I wish desperately that we got to see the world he's in charge of ruling. It was the basis for the entire series and we were getting ready to roll and the book ended. I wanted to see what he's like when he's not under attack because boy has some schmoozing to do with Rain to make up for keeping her in a dungeon for awhile, you know?
Omg this was a bloody brilliant finale and for me my favourite book out of the trilogy. Rain has gone through these three books with plenty of wit and sarcasm especially towards Wrath. Rain comes into her own in this book and that's what I liked the most. She's definitely more than enough to go up against everything in this conclusion. The relationship between her and Wrath changes as well for the good I thought. I've loved this trilogy and all the characters in it. I'm sad it's over but it was a great way to end it
✓ PNR ✓ Entertaining plot - 4 / 5 ✓ Mature language ✓ Fast paced ✓ Spice 🌶🌶.5 / 5 ✓ Villain gets the girl ✓ Morally gray ✓ Secret identity ✓ Forced proximity ✓ Age gap ✓ Enemies to Lovers ✓ HEA
The perfect ending to this trilogy. I enjoyed this series, it was a quick read with lots of drama and magic, betrayal, action. I love where the FMC is a sassy, badass and gets to be so powerful. Honestly, I would have liked a little more epilogue.
I cannot tell you enough how much I enjoyed the final book in this series. From the secrets we learned about Rain to Wrath’s acceptance of her, I think everything came together perfectly!! I loved the evolution of Rain-when she realizes her feelings for Wrath, her coming into her powers, plus she is hilarious.
Nikki St. Crowe wrote a badass story that will have you laughing and swooning all while being on the edge of your seat the entire time!
This was a good, satisfying ending to this trilogy. I feel like the main character made more sensible decisions in this book and there were some nice reveals about what was really happening.
I HATED WRATH UNTIL HALFWAY THROUGH BOOK 3!!!!!! He truly had to lose everything to finally have a redeeming quality! 🙄 Also slightly annoyed they finally got happy and BOOM book ends! Like where’s the happy epilogue 😭 I wanna see them in their new positions of power!
3.5 stars This book was quite the rollercoaster! not too shabby, but with a few bumps along the way. a decent conclusion to this series. It had its strengths, with an intriguing premise and some decent action, but it also had its weaknesses in terms of character depth and pacing. If you're into demons and revenge tales, with a touch of drama, you might want to give it a shot, but don't expect it to blow your socks off.
MA - Smutty Slutty Demons and Gods who fight and it's all a bit bland with boring characters and random paragraphs about food. Someone uses the word "poppet" twice and that was two times too many.
