Calrod’s sworn off love, women, all that warm fuzzy stuff. You bet. This is one demon who’s determined to have a heart of stone. He’s got a good reason for this and isn’t interested in sharing his reasons.

Cara Night’s got a secret of her own. One she hasn’t shared with anyone, not even her pregnant, demon-loving best friend. Okay, she’s got two secrets, but it seems that one of them is clearly written on her face. She’s in love with Calrod.

She wants him, but there’s something off with the man. Something very off. She can’t put a finger on it and no one is interested in letting her in on it.

So, these two will play the avoidance dance, until they are united in a cause to defeat a demon prince with a hell of a grudge.

Never thought I'd say this but there is a thing such a too much smut.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Calrod leans into emotional baggage and tension, with the titular demon holding fast to his vow to avoid love. Cara, full of secrets and longing, adds intrigue and relatability. Their reluctance to connect—despite obvious attraction—creates angsty friction that pays off nicely. The overarching threat of a demon prince keeps the action alive, but it’s their emotional dance that shines most. It’s a quieter installment compared to Dagon, but emotionally satisfying.
