About the author

Amy Fillion is the author of both adult and children's fiction. She is raising three energetic boys in New Hampshire with her husband, attempting not to become too annoyed with her three unruly rescue cats, and immensely enjoying cuddles from her rescue dog. She worked in the field of early intervention after graduating from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in psychology. She then left that job to stay home with her growing children.

She loves discussing books with friends, the smell of coffee brewing, reading outdoors in the warmer months, and elephants.

Loved this book. Got me from the first page and I read it straight through in about 3 hours. I am a fast reader, so I am no into Book 2. This series is awesome. I will be reading other books by this author and hope she keeps on writing. Thank you for a great book.

Skimmed the last 100 pages

I can’t explain why but I just didn’t find the last half interesting. It moved very slowly, very.
There were no surprises or revelations. The story had very little changes between the major event and the end. I felt neither character changed or adapted after the major event.
One chapter could have wrapped up the interaction of the main characters and the characters’ lives.

Brilliant! I really don't know if I was going to like this book but, there was a shift and the story just captured my soul. Well written and unbelievable characters that you will come to know as true friends. So emotional and beautiful. I am hooked and a new fan of Amy Fillion. A must read story of friendship. Enjoy
