Rate this book
The scared human turned wolf, the stubborn male born alpha. Both come from pain, but only one has been beaten.

Jackie Hunter has been suffering after an abusive relationship and the loss of her father, but through the support of her best friend and loving mother she has thrived into a day to day smile however, when her life takes a turn for the magic she finds herself in a world of new laws and expectations.

A fresh wolf, a new mate, and a deadly past that bleeds into her future.

Will she make it out alive? With love? Or just handle it herself and slit her own throat?

~
I shake my ankle, the chain rattling with it.

"You know- mate, you know what you need to do."

That sparked my anger, I was cool until this moment, "I don't need to do shit! The reason I am nice to the Healer is because he treats me as a human being, doesn't chain me down when things don't go his way, and goes at my pace. He is respectable."

That gets to him too, good, he needs to feel pain.

"All I want to do is worship you mate, I want to give you everything you want and make it to where you never have to lift a finger! Why is that such a bad thing?" He moves to sit across from me on the bed.

I sit up, "I don't want to be bought, Alpha. I want to live freely with the decision to choose for myself. I want to be stupid with my best friend, watch cheesy movies with my mom, and make fun of my friend chico for thinking that he is heavy weight. I want normalcy. You can't give me that. You have taken that away, even my choice to starve. What kind of love is that? For fucks sake you haven't even told me your middle name!"

"Please Jackie, just throw me a bone."

"I have given you the feast, Alpha, if you choose to listen, that will lead to your success."

Good book

I enjoyed reading this book. It was a little dark at times. There is a lot of trauma that goes along with the drama of the book. Some topics are very hard for people to read so this book is definitely not for everyone. If you can look past the drama the change in the book with the characters with the characters is actually good.

Editing

There was a good story line, but it desperately needs editing. With editing it could be a really good book, but it was hard to finish.

Good story, but....

Author desperately needs to read through her book again. So many grammatical & spelling words made the book almost impossible to read.
